He went to my mother's house and rekeyed all of her locks so she did not have multiple keys to deal with and he also serviced a broken lock for her that I was not aware of. He was very kind to my mother and explained everything to her. He is prompt, professional, reasonable, and very friendly to deal with. He kept me informed by phone of what he suggested and to get the okay before doing anything. (I do not live in the area). We recently moved to Kettering and purchased an older home that had multiple keys for all of the locks in the house. We had five outside doors and five different keys as well as deadbolts that had a key rather than the latch. We looked online and found Mehdi via Yelp. I called his wife to discuss putting all doors on one key. She gave me an estimate and later Mehdi called to confirm he would be out in a day or so. He showed up and told my wife that the locks we had were in good shape but needed cleaning. Mehdi put deadbolt levers on the doors we needed as well as cleaned each lock. Wanted a local person who'd been doing this for a long time. Medhi showed up two days after my initial call. Looked at the job, said he would be back the next day. I have an antique china cabinet given to me by my Mom . One of the door locks was locked and would not budge. After talking with this very nice gentleman on the phone and trying a few things he advised to try, he had to make a trip here to try and unlock it. He successfully unlocked with no damage to the cabinet, made a new key also , and showed me what had caused the problem, I could not be happier and do not hesitate to recommend him . I would give Mehdi ten stars if I could! We had our 100 year old door refinished and when the hardware was put back on the door it would not work properly. There were major issues to address. Mehdi came out, gave us his assessment (went above and beyond), and then came back days later to do the repair because the Door man could not get it right. I am someone who has very high expectations (probably too much). That being said, Mehdi completely exceeded all of them. I have been dealing with lock issues in my house for too long.
