Quick, friendly service!! I lost my car key fob and didn't' want to pay the dealer's CRAZY prices to replace it, and Bakers was recommended to me by many locals. I put in an order for a new fob ($50.00 deposit since my make/model was not in stock) and crossed my fingers that I wouldn't lose the one remaining one I had while I waited. Not only did I manage to NOT lose the one fob I had left, I (of course...) found the missing one soon after the order was placed... Well, I had a choice-- let the $50.00 non-refundable deposit float off into the sunset, or go ahead and bite the bullet and get the $285.00 (-$50.00 deposit) fob anyway, to have as a second spare. Debated for a minute or twelve and decided to go ahead and still get the extra fob. SUPER quick, friendly service, and the new spare works like a charm! Great local option, in a good, convenient spot downtown, they're really VERY efficient at what they do. Told me 1/2 hr. and they were done in 15-20 minutes. WISH they had later walk-in hours than 4:30 on weekdays, but they do have emergency 24-7 service from their other locations. I'd use them again should the need arise (hopefully NOT!!) and definitely recommend their services here in Springfield (and the other areas they serve...). read more

They tried to help me, but they could not find a replacement lock for a lockbox I got cheap at an auction. Really appreciated their effort, and they refused to even charge me a service fee for trying to find the replacement lock. read more

UPDATE TO DEB R's REVIEW Wow! Was I wrong about these guys, they came out and fixed the issue I had for free, and told me it was a mechanism going out, not their fault. Then, later, when the dead bolt needed to be fixed they did so for free - again, not their fault. I was very impressed. read more

I made an appointment with Bakers Locksmith to break the lock at my storage unit a week before I was to move my belongings. I had lost the key. They did not show up or call. I called, phone was answered, and then hung up. This put me in a bind since the movers were on the way. I had to reschedule the move for two days later. Fortunately, it was not an out of town move. I will not recommend them to anyone. read more

Baker's Locksmith came out to my house to replace my stolen key. He replaced it in under 20 minutes and was able to come to my house less than 3 hours from when i called. He has a great company here and he works diligently!! I ended up being very impressed with the outcome of getting my keys stolen. He also got me 2 pairs of keys for the price of 1 since I bought my car with only 1 key. I do recommend and will be advising Baker's Locksmith to my peers! read more

I was referred to this shop by the guy from Lowe's because Lowe's didn't have an equipment to make a copy of my encrypted car key. These guys of Backer Locksmith did a perfect job and the price was much cheaper than of an official dealer. Apart from everything, their office is nice, staff is friendly and everything is clean (unlike my car interior lol). Thanks a lot for your help. read more

Guys were amazing. Went in for an auto key fob replacement and they were on it within minutes. Not only did they get me a perfect match with all functions working they also examined my old key fob and tried to get it working again while we waited. Just when I thought we were all said and done, they surprised me with my door keypad code as well that I didn't know and was unable to get without going to the dealership. Above and beyond.
