This business, under the name Shadowens Home Improvement, was hired to construct 3 new window screens for my 1888 East Nashville home. The results, for which I paid $350 + $150 to replace one grooved trim board, are completely unusable. The screens are unseasoned white wood held together with staples only, and the installed screens have gaps both top and bottom. They are warping after less than a month, and Mr. Shadowens, who told me he would come back and repair the screens, is now ghosting me, failing to return texts or emails. I will never recommend your business after the lack of communication and help I've received. You even repeatedly gave Choice Warranty the run around. Don't take on more customers if you can't handle it because clearly you can't. Day 1- 4 hour window, tech didn't show and then was 45 minutes late to the new time. Day 3 - tech completed the wrong repair and promised someone would be at my home at 8am to fix Day 4 - no one showed, Billy told me someone was wrapping up and on their way at 9:30a. 2:00pm and no one showed. I called Choice who spoke to Billy and was promised it would be completed same day. 6:00pm - nothing. Called choice again and was reassured it would be that evening. Big Big Big Scammer! Choice Home Warranty assigned this guy as the 'technician' to repair my leaky shower faucet! They sent me the name of his company and phone number so I decided to call him up. He requested that I send a picture of the faucet and Venmo him the $75 service call fee, which I found out later that they are NOT supposed to collect money unless they actually arrive on scene. Anyway, he said he needed the money to buy the part so I sent it to him figuring he was legit considering that my warranty company assigned him as the technician. Big mistake! We went back and forth for a few days, him saying he was waiting on the warranty company, and the warranty company saying that he needed to turn in an itemized billing list before they could approve the work. Finally, they returned with a "partial" approval, $197 of the work would be covered, and the remaining $345 I would have to pay out of pocket, WHAT??? The so-called 'technician' billed extra work for behind-the-wall "pipe-work" as he called it. I asked him how he could tell from just a photo of the faucet that this "pipe-work" was actually necessary. He said, "Because it is soldered!" This is pure Bovine Scatology as it makes no sense whatsoever! So, I asked him to send my money back which he refused saying that it was I that refused the work order. Hello, duh, no kidding, of course, I refused it because I do not need to pay him for unnecessary work! I canceled my Choice Home Warranty account and fixed it myself. I asked a REAL PLUMBER what he would do and he told me to very carefully and slowly cut the end off of the Delta 13/14 cartridge near the handle. I did so, cleaned out the faucet mixing body, and then replaced the cartridge with a new one. I set the hot water limit and then put it all back together. All is well and it's been over a month now; no leaks anywhere. It was a total of about 30 minutes of work, $63 for the new cartridge, and $13 for the plastic handle. I would have given a NEGATIVE STAR RATING but no option exists to do so! read more

Service tech showed up later than the 4 hour window. thats ok, i can live with that. service tech took a picture of the broken faucet. took the check and said he had to get in touch with warranty company to replace the faucet or see if he had a part that would repair the faucet and would be back. After a week of calling repeatedly, leaving voice message, no one ever answering phone or returning calls. I discovered they turned in a completed order to the warranty company. My faucet is still broke. water turned off under the sink. They are liars, thief's and NO communication skills. only gave a 1 star rating because they have no minus stars. read more

I'm writing this on the behalf of my significant other. But I would definitely not recommend this business. They were contracted out by our home warranty provider Choice Home Warranty. Upon the initial visit 7/27/23 someone came out to asses our leak. After figuring out the source they advised they'd be back the following day. No one ever showed up. After going back and forth with this "business" and the home warranty for several weeks no one has yet to contact us about our leak. We've tried reaching out to the Accurate Bullie several times to see if we could get an idea if anyone else would be back out to fix the leak. Still no response from them to us or our warranty company. We've since reached out to home warranty and demanded that they reassign this contract to someone else. Here it is 8/15 and we're still here waiting for a new company to come fix this leak. PS. As a side note it appears that there are several reviews from people who also have Choice Home warranty and was forced to go with this "business". I'd be inclined to say it's probably best to stay away from both Choice and this company. read more

Really terrible service. No communication and they did not do what they said they were going to do. We were assigned this company through our home warranty. After SIX days of very little communication, we finally begged our warranty company to let us use a different company which they allowed. The other company got there within two hours and fixed the problem in 20 minutes. Turns out Accurate Bullie Construction said it was a freon problem. It turns out it was simple a bad capacitor. Long story short, I'm out $800, the window isn't done, and it's currently covered by a black garbage bag. Now I'm having to pay someone else $1000 to undo the damage and do it correctly. It's sad that I gave this company the benefit of the doubt after they were almost 2 hours late from the window I was given by HWA. The calls back and worth as to where a tech was. Then lied saying the tech tried to call and I didn't answer, when I originally called asked what the ETA was because he told me he would be to my home a hour ago. *weird* Then gets to my home, cuts out a hole in my ceiling, finds nothing wrong, gets my $100 and left. BEWARE! This company is a SCAM and FRAUD. They accept home warranty insurance claims with absolutely no intention of returning to perform any work after they take your money.and "schedule an appointment window" but never show up or call. Read their reviews plastered everywhere and it's like listening to a broken record. Same scam different person on each one. They told my home warranty service CHOICE, that I needed freon and never even showed up with tools or gauges to validate that claim. (By the way, why would a roofing company be servicing HVAC units?) After they no-showed, my warranty service approved me soliciting a reputable company to repair. I called Hiller and they were here within 4 hours and replaced the $38 relay that had gone bad. They were referred by my home warranty company to replace a hot water heater. Upon installing the water heater, which they did, they advised that the wiring near the circuit breaker needed to be repaired/replaced and needed the money for the job, which I promptly paid since they seemed to be above board. Obviously this was a mistake. In the ensuing evenings, a traffic jam made the technician late and they needed to reschedule, and the next night there was a family/home issue that caused a lapse in communication (this seems to happen a lot if you look at other reviews online. I texted them and did not receive a response until the next day when I advised I would be contacting the home warranty company. I finally received a response admitting that it was on them and they would show up if I named a time and they did not show up or respond to texts. These people are grifters at best who may do the work but make sure they get theirs out of you. DO NOT pay them anything upfront ever, or listen to their excuses (which they will have). If your home warranty company assigns your claim to them, you should demand someone else. read more

Not sure why it says, Jacksonville, FL. I live in Lebanon, TN. Accurate was sent to repair a toilet through Choice Home Warranty. The order was placed June 6th. Originally they were scheduled for the 9th but changed it. It happens. Came on Tuesday the 13th. Left without fixing it and left it unassembled basically. Was told they would return the next day with part etc... NO SHOW. Meanwhile I put in another order through Choice about our tub leaking and our pantry sink. Everything always happens at the same time LOL. Was told by owner, after I finally get in touch, someone would come Saturday the 17th. No one came. I will probably mess up on a few dates at this point but, I text with owner on Sunday night finally. He apologizes and tells me, he could not get anyone to come out Fathers Day weekend. I said I can understand but we had someone tied to our house waiting. A text, email, or call would have been nice. Now, Monday the 19th, someone comes again. Does fix the toilet, KINDA, you have to hold handle down to flush. You can't walk away. Tells me Choice won't cover the sink it has a crack. I said I know it is not leaking from the sink itself but the pipes but I will appeal that with Choice. It will be X$ to replace. I agree, still thought I could trust them at this point. I mean Choice did send them to me. Meanwhile, tub... Guy has to leave to get a part and the new sink etc.. takes several hours before he returns. Not sure what Lowes he goes to because I am 5 miles from one. Installs the sink, WHICH still leaked after because it was the pipes like I said. We did not realize that until the next day, after I paid for it. :( Tub part turned out not to be "universal" like it should have been. Tub was approved by Choice by the way. Owner tells me he will overnight the part and they will be back Tuesday. This is after 8 pm. I tell him if the part does not come in early enough to fix by 1 pm Tuesday, let's plan for Wednesday morning. My son has to be at work at 2 and I am teaching summer school. Ok, no one comes Tuesday. No one comes all week. I can't get in touch with owner until Saturday. I am asking , Has the part come in? Is anyone planning to come Monday(now the 26th). By the way the pantry sink is leaking still. He replies, I show we have done a sink for you, are there other issues? It turns out Accurate had already turned the order in as complete to Choice. I was like YES there is still work, the tub , that you said you were overnighting a part for. He blames the technician that he says he has fired. We will have someone out there first thing Monday(which will be the 26th) morning. This is my company, I take responsibility. Guess what no one comes, despite me checking in at 10 am and owner saying yes they will call. At 4 pm, after my son waited all day again, he told me he thought he texted me, he was waiting on another order. I know this is LONG but ...the process started on June 6th. Should have cost to service call fees of $75 each. Technician(that was fired) did not know what he was doing with the pantry sink so Choice declined that part. I had to call another plumber because I could not wait on Choice to get me another company. I was going out of town on Sunday 7/2, I had to have everything done by Friday the 30th. I paid Accurate 2, $75 fees and $350 out of pocket for the sink. I then had to pay $350 to fix the actual pipes of the sink because of the original problem and the install was not done correctly. I then had to pay $400 for the tub that had been approved by Choice to be repaired but when I had to use another plumber because of timing issues, they refused to pay. That in itself is another story. I reached out to Accurate via email to ask for a partial refund. Not even all of it. I know I have a new sink and he possibly still paid the technician. I am so disappointed in the company that our home warranty sent out. I had a dripping shower that I wanted fixed. Easy job. The technician they sent literally stepped in caulk and walked up stairs and tracked through hard wood floors. I went to check the work, of course he left with the check and the job was not completed. In fact it was worse. I spoke to owner that kept saying he would come out made us sit around the house for days. Finally when I threatened to post on all social media did he respond to the message. He sent the same tech out two hours late but he showed up. I told him to remove his shoes or wear shoe covers and he said he is not required to do that! Then i told him not to leave until I check his work. Guess what, still not fixed. I gave up on this company and hired another plumber a few days later. He came, put shoe covers on and fixed the problem which of course i then had to pay another bill. Please if you have a choice do not use this company! Most unethical and unprofessional. read more

After their service call they requested payment via text. while requesting/ receiving payment their response time was 2 minutes average. They then set up an appointment to repair the next day for 4pm. I was at the house before 4 and at 4:25 texted to ask about tech. Called, no answer, texted again at 5:25 then called and was told they were on another job and would be to us shortly. This went on until 8pm when I finally left. They then tried to say they were waiting on authorization. I could see on my dashboard they already had it. They then texted to come out Monday At 12. I was there till 2:30. They never replied to any texts or called. Warranty company could not reach them either. Total SCAM artists. read more

This company never fixed the problem it said it would address and caused additional damage to my roof, claimed it would fix and then went completely dark. Never refunded the additional funds it caused for me despite stating in writing it would fix the issue multiple times. Completely unresponsive, did shoddy work and never addressed the problem. They came to fix a water heater through my home warranty company. Things seemed okay, minus lack of communication, until the install day. They were late EVERY time they came out. We received a tech that didn't know how to even turn the water off properly. He turned off my neighbors water, turned on water to a pipe in my backyard that was running for days because we didn't know he turned it on. Tried to reach the owner about a detailed invoice with no response. Tried to reach owner about water running for days due to his incompetent tech and no response. The tech showed up late, flooded the utility room since he didn't have water turned off properly, left while room was flooded to go get a tool. It took over 4 hours and it still wasn't drained and tech left again to go see probation officer while tank still not drained. They finally get it installed super late, no catch pan under it like I was told there would be. No detailed invoice because owner is unprofessional and immature. Would definitely NEVER recommend much less do business with them. I will be contacting the home warranty company tomorrow as well. read more

The man who was sent to do the job made excuses to come back multiple times and didn't even do what he has done so har correctly. Very shady guy who always brought his equally shady wife with him which no one cleared with us. We always had to make sure someone was watching them because they were always in and out back to their car. When the guy told us it would be an extra charge to come back and finish the job we hired him for, we went to his boss who blamed things on the tornadoes and kept saying someone would come out and finish who never did. The pictures on here are of the owners house from what I was told. The owner apparently also changed the business name to something different a few months ago, but kept the same number. I was going to get some work done on my house but made sure it wasn't a scam, and thank God I did. I have read no good reviews on this business (and his "new business" has NO reviews). I also found a BBB complaint that has gone unanswered and the BBB site states the business is not "BBB ACCREDITED".
