The ER name is a great overview for how this team has helped me and my family multiple times. They always come on time. They give a range, from cheaper to more expensive, depending on how bad things might be (I've sent pictures for an estimate on occasion.) And they have come under budget when the problem turns out to be smaller. They also take a credit card, which is very convenient as so many in this space use alternative payments. It's been a great experience every time. And once, when a curtain rod pulled out unexpectedly, which was part of a project, they came back and fixed it for free. HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION. Since we've been in TN I've hired 5 companies for handyman work before I found Ryan and he has by far been so much better than all of them put together. We have two properties that he's worked on and I just wish I found him first. On one of the properties I initially had another person hang floating shelves - then Ryan installed additional shelves and the quality of his work is far superior. He's rewired outlets for flat screen TV's, installed numerous flat screen TV's, installed bathroom accessories, shelves in kitchen and closets, wall mount lighting fixtures and chandeliers, assembling of furniture. I hired this service to replace 5 light fixtures throughout my home for me. Ryan showed up on time, was super friendly and worked efficiently. He ran into an issue in one of my bathrooms as the electric boxes were installed off center but quickly came up with a solution that was both cost effective and aesthetically pleasing and didn't turn into a huge construction project. He set an appointment to return two days later, having constructed two new wooden mounts at his home in the meantime, and installed the remaining two lights. He also consulted on a couple of additional DIY projects I was working on at no extra charge. Overall I appreciated his communication style, friendliness, expertise and fantastic craftsmanship. After reading all the rave reviews for ER Handyman, I called for an appointment to have shutters replaced on the second floor of our house. I spoke with Ryan and he said they would have to rent a ladder but I told him that we had one he could use. Initially, the appointment was scheduled for 2/13 but we were not able to be in town for that date. I heard back from Ryan on 2/16 to let me know they were available on 2/27 at 8:30 and he wanted to know the color of my shutters. I responded that 2/27 would work and also suggested that he ride by my house and make sure they could do the job. He failed to respond so I reached out on 2/21 to confirm the appointment but still no response. Unfortunately, they did not show up. If they had told me they were not going to show up and could not handle the job, I could have reached out to another handyman service to get the job done. This is very disappointing and unreliable.
