Accurate Land Surveyors did a great job of helping out in a time of need when the city was asking for digital signatures due to all of the covid restrictions imposed and changes in the process of submitting plans. Total disaster!! I have a 50 x 100' lot with a mobile home that had to be removed and demolished due to fire. The county a recent survey prior to a new trailer being installed. accurate came highly recommended but my experience with them was very disappointing. I contacted them paid my fee in full and was told a week or two It would be completed. .Almost 2 months to the day and multiple calls complaints and not a single return phone I received my survey thanks to the receptionist. I've req to have the supervisor and or the owner contact me multiple times and never received a phone call or email can't imagine running a business and being successful today's world. They know how to talk sweetly to you when asking and begging for a great google review. I gave them one, the owner, Chris is all about biting the hand that feeds you. I had to get a redo and waited for an appointment. The appointment never came. When I finally got a price a couple of months after I paid for my initial survey, for the adjustment on the NW side of the property, the price was extremely high. I call around and got it done for half of what was quoted.Beware of these people, call around for much better deals and service! Run! Don't walk away from this company. Ordered survey, was told 2 weeks for me to receive survey. I called in 3 weeks, said they couldn't find markers and they said they would contact my hoa for clearer survey. I gave them contact info. They never did contact them and blamed me for not contacting them. I then fowarded email from hoa. Was told survey will be done in 72 hours... when I called 4 days later Lynn said she will first send it to Chris now!Then I was told since old survey was blurred they would do "another type of survey " that will still be accepted by city. Again 72 hours for me to receive it. Never heard back from them so I highered another survey company with better reviews and disputed credit card payment to Accurate. If you can wait 2 months to hopefully receive a survey, good luck! Spoke to Chris twice and Lynn at least 7 times. Total waste of time!!! read more

OMG they don't answer their phone, you sit on hold more than 30 minutes, you call to leave a voice mail and they hang up instead of taking a voice mail... They apparently are over whelmed with work... my survey results have taken longer than suggested when placing my order. Follow ups are painful because you will always sit on hold.... grab a coffee and a book cause its going to take forever to reach them. read more

Our architect recommended Accurate Land Surveyors for our new house build and from the beginning we were warned Lynn could be a little harsh but they would do a good job. This company acts like they are doing you a favor to do the work. We had to wait weeks with multiple calls to get the proper electronic signature. Then once we had a permit we needed another survey for the foundation and waited a month. Our contractor had to pull workers off the job and slow everything up because Accurate couldn't seem to get out to do the job. I would look elsewhere and wish I looked them up on Yelp to see others had the same issues before hiring them. read more

It's been almost 2 months waiting on a survey update. They are always super busy and have never once returned a phone call, even when promised. They confirmed a completion date 4 times and have yet to have the survey completed. Only used them Bc they did the original survey, it should be easy to update. We needed to have a survey done so I started shopping on 6/18/19. I have an issue with the neighbor about our fence and we also want to add an addition onto our home. Almost everyone I called told me they were 2-4 weeks out except these guys. When I asked how long it would take, I was told 2-3 days to do the survey and 3-5 days to produce the report. I paid them on 6-18-19. After waiting a week, I called them. They told me someone would be out this Thursday. Thursday came and they did a no show/no call. When I called Monday to find out why this happened, I was given several excuses from a lady named Lynn. She then told me they would show up on Thursday once more. Thursday came and again no show/no call. When I called Friday I was told rather rudely that it has rained 15 days this month so they were running behind. I then asked "Then why was I given 2 appointments and no one showed up or called. If you knew you were running behind, why did you give me an appointment?". She then got very defensive and tried to made it sound like it was my fault. This same BS went on for over 2 months. I would call and they would lie and give me another date only to do a no show/no call. When I told her I wanted my money back because I had made arrangements 6 times to meet their crew and no one has bothered to show up or call to cancel. (I documented every phone call and who I spoke with like I do with every business I hire to work on my home. It is very handy if you have to take them to court) Well, I was then given another date. This time they did show up, but to my surprise they did NOT mark my property line like I asked. All they did is stick some flags in the ground around my property, nothing more. I feel like I got cheated for the amount of money I had paid them. They left without even closing the gate to my backyard and my dogs got out. They were also supposed to take a measurement of my finished floor elevation inside my home at the front door. They shot the threshold and not my finished floor. This is a big deal as my floor inside my house is higher than the threshold. That is why my door opens to the outside and not inward. The difference in this measurement ment that we would have a step up into the new living room area which is not acceptable because of my handicapped 90 year old father. I called them back to find out why they did not mark my property line in several places like I asked. I was told that they did not know that is what I wanted. Clearly, when I spoke with Jon the first time, I made this very clear as to what I needed. I was put on hold and when Lynn came back she told me to move the fence 1.2 feet to the east. I took measurements from the flag they placed behind the AT&T box over to the fence and I got 3.5 inches. When I asked how they came up with their number when clearly the pic I sent them showed a different story, again, I was made out to be the bad guy and had no reason to complain. So after calling for 3 more weeks trying to get them to do what I had asked for and paid for and 3 more no show/no calls, I had to threaten to take them to court to get my money back so I could hire someone else to do the job I had paid them to do. This is the first time I got short and firm with them. I was tired of biting my tongue. It was only then that they sent another crew out. This crew did put real markers down in the ground with pink tape on them along with stakes along the fence line like I asked. However, this time they shot the bottom of the front door and NOT the finished floor elevation like both I and the architect asked for. But lucky for me that elevation took us to 1.5" above the crown like we needed so I did not have to call them back to do once more what I had asked them to do. I waited another week for the updated survey because the "Accurate Land Survey" they did the second time had several measurements that were different from the first survey. When I called them, Lynn again made it sound like I was being unreasonable. All I want is what paid for, nothing more. So here we are today, Sep.9, 2019, and I just got what I was told would only take 2-3 days. It took almost 3 months to get this done. What a bunch of crap. To sum it up, if you like being lied to, talked down to, not getting what you paid for and taking several days off of work so they can inconvenience you by not showing up, please, by all means, hire this company. But if you want an honest reliable and trustworthy company, I suggest you keep looking. read more

Ordered a time critical survey from these guys. They never did deliver. They kept telling us it would be ready soon but never came thru. They strung us out for 6 weeks, missed the original promised deadline of August 2, kept giving a new date for completion. After several more failed commitments for past three weeks we had to fire them and get someone else. How can you deal with people that lie over and over. read more

Went with Accurate in attempt to support a local business. Bad move! Should've paid heed to the poor reviews. First call was great, polite service. Billed we when I placed the order. They they didn't show up when 1st scheduled, no call, or the other 2 days they said they were coming. If you call you are put on hold forever or told by rude attendant that she will track down the info and call back, but never does. Been a month now. Called today to cancel and request refund, will likely never get my $500+ back. Stay away! read more

I had 2 very brief phone conversations with 2 different employees with this company and both times their demeanor was snarky, irritated and condescending. When conversations go sideways from the very beginning, that's a red flag for me to stay away. PLEASE DON'T DO IT!!! Save yourself the frustration!!! Read the other negative reviews, because they are spot on. Accurate has been disastrous to work with on all levels. I'm writing this lengthy review because if I wasted my time trying to work with them, I can waste a little more to prevent others from sharing the same fate. Customer service does not exist with them. My wife and I have literally spent hours upon hours calling, getting put on hold, hung up on, leaving voicemails, physically going into their office, and following up on their lies and unfulfilled promises to get our survey done to have our fence installed. I heard all of the same lies and BS promises listed in the other reviews. Our fence install has been delayed for over 2 months now because of Accurate not coming out and doing our survey, then doing it incorrectly, and then not getting the survey to us. We called back in early August to get our survey done and they said they could get it done by the end of the week so we paid them for the service. When it was finally performed in October, it was done incorrectly and they had to come back out and to it again. Once that was completed, it took over a week for us to get a copy of the survey. Their incompetence stems from their Office Manager, Chris C. It starts at the top and he is the one in charge of this failing circus and their poor performance is truly a reflection of his inability to effectively lead and manage this group. We spoke 6 days ago and he acknowledging they failed to meet expectations all while making excuses for their failures. I expressed I wanted a complete refund for the terrible service along with the time and energy wasted between my wife and I. He said he'd refund half and that if I wanted a complete refund, I needed to bring back and return the survey documents. With my mind blown, I explained that given the BS we have put up with along with the fact we need the survey documents for our fence install, that was not going to be acceptable. He let me know that he would discuss things with the owner and call me back "first thing in the morning." Because we heard this multiple times previously, from nearly every other person we spoke to, I literally made him promise that he would call me back even if to tell me he needed additional time to figure things out. That was 6 days ago and still no word from him or anyone there despite me calling back for a response. At this point it is almost comical how ridiculously terrible doing business with Accurate Land Surveyors has been. No customer of any business should be handled the way Accurate has with us and the many others who have left had these terrible experiences and left their negative reviews. Going forward, I hope everyone takes heed of these reviews and refuses to do business with them! read more
