Today Sept. 23 2021, I decided to start the process once more, and had the good fortune of hearing about J&J. I called them at 4:24 PM (today) to discuss my issue and was greeted by Tiffany who in less than 15 minutes was able to clearly understand my problem and how we could start taking action to resolve my matter. She immediately suggested a course of action with a commitment to get back to me before close of business (same day results). At 5:03 PM (less than 1 hour later) I received a call back from Tiffany with a strategy and plan on how to resolve my issue, along with an email containing initial documentation supporting her strategy. Further to this exceptional experience, she was able to give me some rough cost estimate that are significantly more competitive to everyone else I have spoken to. (and wasted my time with). When I needed a copy of my survey a few months ago I found the one which was done in 2005 and contacted the survey company. Yes, they were still in business and yes, they had the survey on file, and yes they would send me a PDF of it at no cost. Since then I've had the need to get updated surveys as the City of Boca Raton requires them for so many permits. Fence? Yes, a survey. Ancillary structure, yes, survey. Filling in your 1960's sunken living room floor? Yes, survey. LOUISA is my point of contact. She is efficient. Proficient. Schedules the surveys. Informs you when it is ready for pickup. I scheduled an appointment with them, rearranged my husband's very busy day so he could meet them, and they didn't even bother to show up. Not only that they called to confirm the appointment beforehand and then just ghosted us. No call, no text, no explanation. When I called the next day, a woman answered and said someone would call me right back. Of course, no one did. I had to call again, and she told me "Greg will call you." Greg finally did call but instead of apologizing or explaining, he just casually asked if I was available that day, as if nothing had happened. When I asked him why they didn't show up, his response was literally: "You know what we just forgot." That's right. A company that supposedly prides itself on waterproofing and professionalism admitted that they "just forgot" about a showing up to a customer's appointment. No apology, no accountability, no respect. When I told him that was unacceptable and asked why I should give them a second chance, instead of reassuring me, he literally said: "You know what, thank you," and hung up the phone on me! He hung up the phone on me! This is hands-down the rudest and most unprofessional company I've ever dealt with. If Greg is the kind of person they put forward as a representative, that says everything about how Deluxe Waterproofing & Caulking operates. They wasted my time, disrespected me, and then hung up when I expected a basic apology. If you value your time, money, or sanity, stay far away from this company.
