We negotiated a price up front that was fair and I was very satisfied with his service and friendly attitude. I contacted Henry to install a SimpliSafe electronic front door lock. I have 2 deadbolt locks on the front door and Henry had to replace the top lock and then install the SimpliSafe device onto the new lock. He did a great job and was very personable. Henry came out and changed my locks yesterday on short notice, giving a very reasonable price and sticking to it. He was friendly, worked quickly, and did a fantastic job. Today he had to come out again and circumvent the lock that he'd just put in because I'd locked myself out of the apartment. I had a very strange situation a few weeks ago. I was dealing with a family illness, and trying to get to a new job, and I left a heavy bag on the inside doorknob of my front door. When the door inadvertently closed, I thought nothing of it, since I had the key. I could NOT open that door for anything. The weight of the bag prevented the knob from being turned. The great guy at Accurate answered my call and got over to me within a few hours and quickly got me into my house, re keyed both my locks and charged a reasonable fee. I have never, in my life, dealt with a business as unprofessional as this locksmith. I contacted Accurate this morning to schedule a lock changing tomorrow involving a retail location. I explained in my call that we needed to wait on the local law enforcement to confirm a time (which would have been between 1-3 pm), however, since I understand the nature of the business, that I would schedule their services for 1 pm and call back later in the day to confirm. I just called back and was told by Henry that it would have to be after 3pm because he decided to take another job. Henry had all my information from the call this morning, yet neglected to call me and tell me he was screwing me over. Luckily, I was able to find another locksmith, who seems to be far more competent than this poor excuse of a service. I would sincerely recommend avoiding Henry and his sham of a business at all costs. I can only imagine if I did this to customers in my line of work. Word to the wise, if you are going to go back on scheduled appointments, its a better business practice to let them know. read more

My lock was jamming - but it was a 30 year-old lock, a special piece of hardware, and if I had to replace it, I would have had to replace two solid wood double doors (probably $1k). Please steer clear of this company - very scary experience. I did enlist his help for a commercial job and halfway through found out that our building needed special locks. The building managers - who are the nicest people to work with - tried to get him to re-key the locks in a different way and he freaked out saying he'd need to take our locks back to his workshop for 2 days (and leave our building without any locks at all!). He was ranting and carrying on with them about how he's a millionaire and doesn't need the work and he owns so many companies and then got in his van and drove away. The building managers advised me of the situation and these grown men were clearly shaken by his outburst. He called me 7 times on my cell phone to get me to pay him $300 for his time (one hour) and tried to tell me he was assaulted by our building managers and was filing charges. He also yelled at me to give me their names. He finally settled on $150 (I didn't have any problem paying him for the time he worked) and was still carrying on about how he was assaulted. I'm sure you can find a locksmith who will give you less aggravation. read more
