When I politely asked the male receptionist to speak with a manager, he instead transferred me to another staff member. That associate raised her voice at me, repeated the same unhelpful information, and made no effort to address my concern. I was told management was unavailable, which felt like a brush-off. No patient deserves to be treated with such hostility or disregard--especially when simply trying to get clarity or help. While I had respect for Dr. Ongangi's medical care, the toxic front office culture reflects poorly on the practice as a whole. I hope the management takes serious steps to improve how patients are treated. Until then, I cannot recommend this practice.

I was then told by the nurse that the doctor was booked up and could not see me but could call in some meds for me. How could he know what meds I needed if he did not see me and listen to my chest? I had been to this doctor several times before and was not a new patient. I ended up going to Baylor Scott and White ER, who determined I had pneumonia and congestive heart failure. They kept me overnight for observation while I was on a heart monitor. I would not recommend this doctor - he does not seem to care about his patients....
