His tax manager admitted to my wife and I that he misapplied a tax payment to the wrong year. Then John admitted that the mistake was made by his firm. This mistake caused my wife and I approx. $ 600 in late fees and penalties. John stated he would cover this expense, but when it came time to doing so, he was MIA. After some time of chasing, he pushed us off to Mary ( wife), who sent us an email giving us a story that contradicted the story that his tax manager and John had already admitted to. She also told us, that our engagement letter stated that we were responsible for all taxes, interest, and penalties. I agree with that, but not when these expenses are caused by Margida and Assoc.
