It's usually frequented by seniors, which creates a calm atmosphere. The staff is consistently friendly, and the selection--especially in the frozen section--is impressive. Everything is spotless, and the produce and meat are always fresh and well-maintained. I often find great deals on clearance meat, which I can't resist; it still looks fresh, unlike clearance items at other stores that can appear discolored and unsafe. Be sure to download the app and clip digital coupons, as it can save you a lot. I find Kroger to be cheaper than most stores. Lastly, the Sushi is made right in store and Wednesday is 5-dollar sushi. There are 2 other Kroger less than 2 miles for this one. Yet they are still doing good here maybe because this Kroger has a gas station. Not to be confused with Frogger which was a popular computer game back in the day. Owned by Kroger Moore, Kroger Rabbit and Kroger Federer, this is a popular, low-key version of this well known grocery store way out in the west suburbs. Kroger has really high prices, and this one doesn't have as much stock as some of the other locations, and sometimes the shelves are bare. We got a couple of questionable customer service issues here, which is normal for Kroger, but it's a lot friendlier than the big one over on Eldridge Parkway, and I guess that's not saying a lot, but I just wanted to put that out there, that even though the Eldridge one has a lot more stuff, this one is a little bit friendlier - just a little bit. And tends to stick to their hours rather than closing early like Eldridge. And generally speaking, we only come to Kroger if there's something we need and we can't get it elsewhere. We've had a few problems with Kroger recently, and we do not appreciate the fact that they keep reducing their hours, to the point where they will even reduce their hours without telling anybody soon after reducing them and completely screw us over. An example of this is being 24 hours, changing to a 12am close, all websites advertising the 12am close, nobody answering the phones, and you get there at 11.15pm and they're closed, a sign on the door says new hours, 11pm close. Another example is arriving at 10.45pm for an 11pm close and being turned away at the door. This kind of behaviour is shocking, but that last one happens mainly at Eldridge. Not to be confused with Kruger, which is apparently a dude with sharp fingers that kills people and stuff.

I know there are dishonest people in the world, apparently more so in Richmond, TX. After 3 counting attempts, I asked her if she would like to cancel and redo the order as she watched and verified. I figured it would take less time. She refused and continued to have counting issues. Please place employees in these positions who have the skills to do the job.
