There are days they have great deals. Packaged meat and seafood look way better than the service cases in my opinion. Seafood always has a smell that leads me to believe cleaning under the cases gets missed. Produce is always stocked but have notice the difference with size of produce items becoming smaller but I know sometimes they can't help what they receive. Kroger online shoppers love to leave their cart in the middle of the aisle while they go to the next aisle to pick up an items. Self check out employees are sometimes attentive while others may love their phone. Can get pretty busy when only two lines open plus self check out. Management is always a pleasure to deal with throughout the store. Would love to see more demos in the store. read more

I was nearby attending an event. While driving home, I saw a fancier Kroger store at Brazos Town Center by Highway 69. I couldn't resist. So, here I am. The store is more than just a grocery store. Wow. It's like Walmart with soles of cheap clothes. I can't afford to stay and shop. I got what I wanted as my weekly grocery trip at this Kroger store in Rosenberg. I tried the grocery pickup today. My personal opinion is that they train the younger folks better because I received 3 mushy avocados and a few items were missing from my order. 12/05/24 at 2:30 pm. My wife stood at the bakery for about 15 min, and no one helped. A woman Mireya walked back there eventually. Saw my wife, and still didn't help. We are trying to get Toy Story cupcakes for my son's birthday. When she finally approached my wife she said they don't do Toy Story. When it's clearly on the website they do and inside the book as well. The woman wouldn't even showed my wife the book. Then she spoke with the manager to state her experience. The manager wanted to show her the book. But we already made the decision to go to H-E-B. Don't waste your time at Kroger they hire incompetent people, and host poor quality. These are the most beautiful fruits I have ever seen. The fruits are very fresh, watermelon, strawberry, pineapple. The two Asians are very friendly. They used to work in Sam's Club making sushi boxes and cutting fruits. They have probably worked there for a few years. I knew them before I moved because I often went to Sam's Club at that time. I have been shopping at Kroger for 40 years or more. I have had trouble lately with their digital coupons. I have tried three times to get this resolved, with no luck. The managers don't care. They just send you to customer service and they can't fix the problem either. Time to switch to HEB. Their aggravation is not worth it. The store overall is great. I just have a problem with the Kroger brand Gummy Worms. The ratio of flavors is highly unfavorable. I don't like the green and yellow and only tolerate the green and orange ones. My favorite is the red and white flavors. These 5 stars are for Gerardo in customer service and only Gerardo! I have been coming to this Kroger since September of 2018. Every time I come in he's always greeting customers or busting his ass with the self checkout or running the register. ALWAYS DOING SOMETHING to make sure everything is running smoothly and taking care of the customers! Today was the first time I've had to return something, we did the checklist the other day and the Laura's lean beef we got was BROWN but didn't expire until the 29th, so one of your meat clerks are dating the meat wrong. Might wanna address that! But I came in today to return it and was helped by... Wait for it! GERARDO! I've worked in customer service for about 10 years. He handled the situation PERFECTLY and PROFESSIONALLY! I know a lot hard work gets unnoticed at Kroger's. SO PLEASE MAKE SURE HE GETS REWARDED FOR THIS! This store is ever changing. Some days both sides are open, some days only one. They've moved everything around. It's relatively clean but some of the products are expired (check out soups and broths).... I found out only after purchasing. The fruit is always packed and looks fresh. They even have fruits you can't find anywhere else. The deli area is full of desserts that look delectable. It always smells like super seafood in the back, so if you can't handle it than steer clear of this area. They have a great selection of clothing, but due to covid be careful and don't touch OR you may be scolded by a worker for touching. Who knew? So I can buy it, go home and try it on.... if it doesn't work return it. Makes no sense. Just don't bother touching it. They will warn at you as if you are about to touch something on fire. This definitely made me walk the opposite direction. Otherwise the shipping experience is pretty normal for a Kroger. Just be cognizant for the angry elves that work there. Plus? When I arrived for interview at 12:55pm and my interview time was 1pm. I had to asked employees where to go since they had no directions for us. Which is okay but after making my way to second floor to their employee room and waiting 10 minutes for Kendra , she showed up and told us our interview time was over and we can either until 3:30 or send the company email for reschedule. I try to shop here vs HEB because prices are lower but service is weak. At 5:30 pm on a Thursday only two registers open and lines were 5 carts deep. I was forced to use self checkout on my large purchase. Chaos. Machine wanted me to not put back anything in my cart. I had to ask attendant 20 times to help me resolve technical issues wasting my time. Took me 20 minutes to check out because Kroger pays crap and they can't keep employees. To much goes on at this store. Terrible customer service and so many employees who just seem to be wondering around like Zombies. My visit was on jan/21 saturday and on this day is was extremly busy and crowded and lines are extremely long and move slow. Especially Courtesy booth with 1 employee behind it. I waited almost 40 mins to exchange a bag of coffee and so when I came back to booth there was one lady in line and mean while guy was being relieved for lunch but before he could of finished my transaction before he left. The size of this Kroger is very big compared to other grocery stores and it is nice looking on the inside. They have a good selection of produce and are well-stocked on most items. Where bakery is Rugaard. I also have a great assortment of bricks. The only time I've seen them out of stock of the essentials was during hurricane Harvey. They have a Starbucks on the inside which is nice. The things this place can improve on is keeping more cash register lines open. Their price tags for discounted items are also something you have to pay close attention to. They have some items that are on sale if you have a card and other items on sale if you have a card ANDyou buy multiple of the same item. So pay close attention so you aren't surprised at Checkout. read more

I wrote a review on here and I believe the manager flagged it because I called him out on honesty. I want to commend the chef at this store David in the Deli. He is an outstanding chef. He prepares the food as some of the best restaurants in Houston. It is great to get a plate lunch here, or to take home for dinner later. If you haven't tried it you should. David is a great cook!!! KROGER PRODUCE IS DISGUSTING, Friday I bought cherry tomatoes for our salads, and today I when went I make them I found mold on the tomatoes. Also this isn't the first time. I got strawberries a few weeks back and the same day I found mold on them and they were soft and mushy. So I had to take them back and get money back. So yea. I will NO LONGER be going to KROGER IN ROSENBERG, I WILL be going to HEB instead. read more

DELI/BAKERY I ordered some catering items for a bridal shower from Kroger on 9/15/2015 for Pick-Up on 9/26/2015. When I arrived to pick up the food my cake was not ready and my food order was incorrect. They grabbed a random cake with colors I DID NOT want as I NEEDED the cake to be the colors of the wedding, and instead of a marble cake, LIKE I ORDERED, I got a vanilla one. I was extremely dissatisfied! I also called ahead to make sure that my food would be 1/2 WITHOUT cheese as the bride I was hosting the shower for can NOT eat cheese. When I got my order EVERYTHING had cheese!! Not only was there cheese, we found a bread twist tie INSIDE one of the sandwiches!!!! Somebody could have choked on that! Overall I am extremely disappointed seeing as my order was placed in advance and nothing was made how I asked for it nor was it ready at the specified pick up time! When you're hosting a party you expect everything to go smoothly. Kroger's Deli and Bakery staff at this location need to get their act together. read more

I love this place. I can spend hours browsing here. There's a Starbucks with places to sit and watch tv or read or study, Homegoods, jewelry store, toys, books, cards, furniture, and huge gas station. There's also a gigantic pastry and deli section. There's a lot of fresh fruit and veggi selections including organic. There's aisles and aisles of products....clean bathroom. Plenty of parking (just remember where you parked)! Lots of registers open....the cashiers are friendly. Just remind them to scan your coupons bc they tend to forget. read more

Again?! I think I am done with this store, If I have to drive an hour or not! Was in the store yesterday, Sunday around 10:45. They had Shiner Cheer,(beer) on sale so we were going to do our shopping and then at noon check out. I asked the lady working the department if they had any left, (because they never have half the items I am looking for), She turned around and Huffed at me! Actually huffed, she was so put out it was crazy. Then we saw one Astro's etched bottle of wine, with NO PRICE! Not the first time I couldn't find a price at this store. Soooo I asked her what the price was, again huffing and puffing. She pointed to the top shelf with a different bottle that did have a price, I said no, I will looking at this bottle, with a hand gesture,(not the one I wanted to use, but more like a wave), And she actually said, "You can't buy any of this for another hour"! I was so angry, I said, "That doesn't answer my question, but you have a nice day." , and walked off. I did speak to the manager on duty, he just gave me lip service and hoped I would go away.
