You know how the parking lot usually gives way to what the inside will be like, well I pulled up…read moreand the parking lot was full and I was dreading going inside. However once I got in there was two tellers helping customers and no one in line. I got in line and waited and Jessie walked up to help me. I was needing a cashiers check, as well as looking for some crisp dollar bills. Jessie helped me with great customer service, got some of the crispy bills I was looking for and then I decided to push my luck and ask for $2 bills and she got me even crispier bills (yes I know this sounds crazy but I need them for a project and don't like beat up looking bills). I was in and out in a reasonable amount of time and had everything I was needing done. While I was there I saw an elderly lady at the ATM having a hard time navigating the system. I watched as another employee came to help her with her transaction and gave her respect, patience, and guidance for her transaction. Seriously, I went in with low expectations and walked out feeling like a valued customer and this isn't my local branch but the customer service I got is enough to make me drive a little further to get this type of service.

Account opening was great. Nice lobby, friendly staff, short wait, above-average explanation of how overdrafts work. The police presence is kind of nice, as long as you forget that it's because this branch has been robbed twice. Getting my money in and out has not been smooth. When I deposited an insurance check because someone totaled my car, it took two weeks for the check to clear. That meant I was unable to buy another car for two weeks. Then, I called to ask how I could get the money out to buy a new car. The answer was you can't. Seriously. I called again and got someone smarter, but the answer was a bank check at a cost of $5 because the bank doesn't have other ways to process larger dollar amounts. Even the ATM is a problem. Today, I got three different errors when trying to deposit a check. It'll be easier to move my money to another bank than pretending this bank functions like a normal bank.
