Thirty years ago I followed this credit union to Irving on Belt Line and then on to 161. The new branch has all new furnishings with the EXCEPTION OF their 20 year old coin sorting machine. Now, guess what's been "temporarily out of service" for over two weeks. For the last 5 years, it's been impossible to get a human employee on the phone. Calling customer service is a never ending automated system designed to make you give up and hang up. Before I drive 10 miles one-way from south Irving, I'd like to be able to make a 20 second call to the bank and ask, "Is your antiquated coin machine working today?" Are YOU looking for a new bank? Somehow the title of one of our cars did not make it to us after the leinholder removed themselves from the title. I came in to file for a lost title only to be told by the staff that is handled by the DMV in Texas and not by the Tax Assessor's Office (as it had been in my previous state). These people could not have been friendlier and more helpful though and even were "reassuring" that I am not the only one who has made that mistake. They even went out of their way to give me the address and directions to the office I needed to be at to handle my title situation. Anyway, while I was impressed at how nice their building and offices are , I was even more impressed at how nice the staff is and how well they handled not only my situation, but several other situations I observed while waiting. Takeaways from this review: -The Staff here is super nice and very helpful! -If you need to file for a lost car title, this is NOT the office you come to -But if you need to register or renew your registration, they got you covered!

There was some minor issues but the most glaring was the check engine light. David said the issues would be taken care of, go to lunch and come back in a couple of hours. He called me and said they needed a part that would not be there until Monday. David paid for my flight home and said the truck would be shipped to me. I received the truck late the next week. When driving from where I received the truck, the check engine light came on. I notified him of this issue and he said to have it fixed locally and he would reimburse me. It has been several months and many texts and calls and still no reimbursement. Up until this point, David lived up to his word but I am extremely disappointed to have to write a partial negative review due to not receiving this promised reimbursement. In addition, the check engine issue took two times to resolve, the second requiring an additional cost which I decided to absorb thinking I would get the promised reimbursement. In closing, David did live up to his word on everything until this reimbursement issue so I can't give a 5 star review due to this

I was referred and received a small loan and made early payments, no overdue payments just one or…read moretwo days late at the most. I paid off almost all with less that half the last payment left 2 months. When I requested to refinance each time I was told the make the next payment then the refinance would be possible. It was not granted supposedly due to the late payments even though the payments was late just a few days. The payments made early or payments made before the due date should be more important than the payments that was a few days late. I owe less than half of my last payment and I will not continue any further business with this company or bother referring anyone who may need assistance. There is only 3 women at this location who all call customers requesting payments on the same days or daily even though customers have expressed concerns about these calls not being received on work numbers, or messages not being noted to refrain from several calls from all 3 each day. The initial payments is with high interest and I paid it before it was due. I'm glad I made the early payments because my credit score has gone up and finishing it this month will add a few more points to my credit score so closing it afterwards will be a benefit. There is no online payment option. It's not open later than 6:30 pm or on weekends. So payments due on weekends will be late but still will be counted as a late payment. If you work and CANNOT receive personal calls, they still will call.
