You should not give anyone financial advice as you are not competent whatsoever and to call out and the branch has no one else to assist? What? A poor excuse to call out and you do not look professional to handle large accounts and you are not investment savvy and to speak to me as to put me on a budget or allowance.....you are clueless! Mind your own manners and stop being disrespectful to account holders. As an account holder, you have lost my investment accounts and I will close the remainder of them based on the interactions this year. Next person that needs a personality makeover for customer service is Michelle. She is useless and my time is valuable, yet she spoke to me with blatant disregard and no respect. Fortunately NFCU 800# is helpful and aware of serious account services mismanagement at this local branch. I avoid whenever possible. I still have another bank so I can still manage liquidity. There are a very slim handful of helpful tellers. I do agree that staffing and coverage should be better. Whoever determines NFCU interest rates are terrible as I had to transfer investments to other banks offering greater than 5% interest when they change rates at the drop of a hat! The government has kept rates consistent only recently dropping .25%....I cannot wait to have my account make money with another firm!!!

DO NOT GET INSURANCE FROM THIS AGENCY!!!! I was with this…read moreagency for 3 years and last week when I needed help and called Brian, he was rude, condescending and arrogant. I had 2 other people on my policy that I needed removed. Brian however refused to take them off my policy said they had to be on their parents policies (which wasn't an available option) and offered me no assistance on how to fix my situation. Every hoop he gave me to get them off I jumped through and every time I did he came up with another excuse to not let them off (I'm guessing because it significantly dropped my premium and he didn't want to give up that $$) With that being said I called Progressive myself, the woman on the line there told me every thing he said was a lie and that unless you are under investigation on a claim you can add or remove people at any time. So the woman there took the other 2 people off and switched my agent!!

We were contacted by Jackie to switch over to State Farm for our auto and home insurance. We were in the market for new insurance so figured we would give it a go. At first everything was great and we had no issues. Then it seems like we just kept having issues. First, we received a notice from the DMV that there was a lapse in my daughter's auto insurance and we had to pay a penalty fee and show she didn't have a lapse. We contacted the office and they apologized and fixed the problem. Okay no big deal to us. I know mistakes happen. Then it seemed we kept having fees come up on our bill that we didn't know about. Our 18 year old daughter had a "hospital insurance" charge each month of about 20 dollars. We contacted via email several times and never received a response. Then my husband called to find out what it was and left a message. He never received a response. So we decided to switch insurance companies as this was not the service we wanted or was used to. My husband called to cancel and sent an email. He was able to speak to someone at the office which did not give any type of explanation just stated "I'm sorry we didn't meet your expectations of our service". It was a very back handed comment that basically said we did nothing wrong, you just have high expectations. We received an email stating they had received our wish to cancel. About a week later, we still had a balance that was due for insurance and it showed insurance was still active. My husband then called the office again and Devondir answered the phone. He was very rude and stated, "sir, by NC law we have up to 30 days to cancel your auto policy and you have to pay the amount due". He asked when did you cancel and my husband said August then he said and what month is it and my husband said August and Devondir said okay thank you and hung up on my husband. I could not believe how we were being treated. So my husband reached out to State Farm corporate for further clarity on what was going on with our policy. The lady at corporate was very helpful and advised that our policy in fact had NOT been cancelled and we did NOT have to pay for the policy that we already cancelled. She went ahead and cancelled the policy and stated we would receive a refund for any unused funds. We did receive a refund check within a few days. We decided to go back to USAA insurance and received better service and better rates. We did receive an email from Jackie stating the policy was cancelled and another back handed statement of, "I'm sorry we couldn't meet your expectations". Not once did anyone at that office apologize or explain anything. They make people feel like they are the ones in the wrong and we have high expectations. I'm not sure why we were treated the way we were, but want people to be aware.

I moved to the area and went to transfer my auto insurance to NC, as I moved from out of state. My…read morerates increase 2.5x with no incidents/citations/accidents on my record. I have had statefarm for years, and it was great, until now. When I asked why my rates drastically increased, they gave no real reason, and then when I kept pushing, I was told someone from the underwriting division would call. That did not happen, but this group called me back to let me know that NCs rates are definitely higher than the state I came from, so there was nothing they could do. I was also told by the rep that "everyone is jumping ship" from having statefarm for auto insurance because they are skyrocketing rates to try to recoup money from not "really" raising rates in COVID. I can understand a $30/month hike in my rate for recouping money, but not 2.5x a month. I went from $90 to $230. They then told me that my home insurance wasn't bundled and hadn't been for a while, but couldn't tell me why. They also didn't offer to fix that or offer a refund on the difference of what it would be bundled. This experience has been incredibly poor. When I researched what they said about the state I moved from having way lower rates - it was a complete lie. I have researched this heavily and found that the last state I lived in is one of the more expensive states for insurance due to it being a tourist trap with bars that never close. Even the woman who help me transfer insurance between states said my rates should drop and when they increased by 2.5x, she apologized profusely, and tried resubmitted everything to double check. This makes no sense. They have nothing to help me understand what happened, gave an excuse about rates, asked me if I was leaving statefarm, and when I said I didn't want to change if I didn't have to, then they lied about the cost. I have no interest in being taken advantage of and lied to about the situation.
