She said it was leaning and not falling down. I told Tana there was not any cement in the holes. Tana told me that was not true or the process would not have worked. I requested, on numerous occasions, for them to come back to my house and repair what they didn't do correctly the first time (and to verify there was no cement). After months of contacting Tana, we had to have another company come out and pull the fence upright, dig around the poles, put in cement, and stabilize until it dried. This was my experience with Dependable Fencing and will not use them again and I do not recommend them to others. It is unfortunate.

In April, I hired Dependable Fencing to replace my elderly mother's fence and paid the required deposit. They were scheduled to begin in early June. During the week of June 20, their crew removed her existing fence, then informed my mom that it would be another 2-3 weeks before they could install the new one. My mother and stepfather are both in their 70s, their backyard opens to an alley, and they have two dogs that require a secure fenced yard. I called Tana to ask when the project would be completed. I wasn't interested in excuses about the delay--I simply wanted a realistic completion date. I was told the job would be finished the following Wednesday, which, while inconvenient, seemed manageable. A few hours later, I received another call saying they would not be completing the project because they didn't like that my mother and I were "already complaining before the job started." The problem with that statement is that the job had already started--they had removed the existing fence and left my mother's property unsecured. They pointed to a small temporary enclosure they built for the dogs, but it was essentially a tiny box on concrete and was not an adequate replacement for a fenced yard. As of this review, Dependable Fencing has not completed the work they contracted to do, and my deposit has not been returned. My elderly mother has been left without a fence because the company chose to walk away after removing the old one. Not only that, while taking her dogs out, my mom tripped over a line that they had placed to mark the yard and landed on her shoulder. Luckily, she was ok but the security risk my mother is facing because of Dependable Fencing is unacceptable. Every project can encounter delays, and I understand that. What I cannot understand is removing someone's fence before you're prepared to replace it, then refusing to finish the job because the customer had a complaint and asked for a timeline. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. In fact, I want everyone to know the horrible position they left my mom in- literally with no fence- instead of finishing the job they started. In closing, they have a quote on their website that says, "We treat every install -- residential or commercial -- like it's going up in our own yard." Really, Tana? Would you have left your mother's yard in the same shape that you left mine? What about your child's? I don't think so.

The fence is beautiful and VERY sturdy. I love the strong, easy-opening gate and the smooth latching system. I would recommend them highly . We had this company redo the fence in our front yard. The fence looked fine. However, while…read moreinstalling the fence, they damaged the sprinkler system. They came to the door to ask where the water meter was so they could turn it off. They also said they would get supplies to fix what they had broken. After they left, however, we realized that it was still not fixed. We understood that there is a clause saying they will not be responsible for damages that occur during installation of the fence, so we accepted that we would be paying the 500 dollars to fix the sprinkler system. However, when the sprinkler repair company came out, they informed us that they had not just broken the line. They had tried to "fix" it by pouring several bags of concrete onto the area. The sprinkler repair man had to bring out a machine to dig the concrete up from where they had covered our sprinkler line, turning our 500 dollar bill into an 1100 dollar one. We were told that it would have taken 10 to 15 bags of concrete to make that big of a block. He gave us his phone number to have the owner of this company call him so he could tell them how badly they had screwed up. My husband called and spoke to the owner, Jody, who continually cut him off every time he tried to explain the situation. She was very rude the entire time. She kept repeating that they have a clause against this. The thing is, this did not occur during fence installation. This occurred when they attempted to fix our sprinkler system, which they shouldn't have done if they didn't know what they were doing. My husband tried to give her the phone number of the repair man, and was told that he could call her, but that she wouldn't waste time talking to someone who knew nothing about fencing. She also claimed that the concrete on our sprinkler line must have been from splatter. My husband asked her to pay for the damage and replace the post that also had to be removed. Ultimately, he told her he would be taking her to court. She said ok and hung up on him. It was overall extremely unprofessional. Attached is a photo of a portion of the concrete that she claimed was splatter.

Needed a fence to keep dogs in with low maintenance, what I received was a fence that will not keep…read moredogs in and with high maintenance. Already have had to have someone repair fence because its so weak. Plus fix their mess.Too many problems to list them all. They do not use material that is said on contract therefore they charge you for better material than what they actually use. Contract says 11.5 gauge chain link which is 125 thickness, they installed 17 gauge that is 0437 thickness. Its like a temporary aluminum wire fence that bends easily. Make excuses why they did horrible work and lie about the thickness but I have proof it is not what they said. Post are not below freeze point so most likely in time we know what's going to happen there. Check your material make sure it really is what is on contract.

Before he got started he said he missed figured the job and wanted to charge me $380.00 more. I agreed. I should have ran the other way then. When he showed up to do the first section of the job he brought what he called a new product he wanted to try. As it turned out it was a cheaper product. He said he would use puppy pads to keep the stain off the concrete. No puppy pads and I have stain on the concrete and the coverage was terrible. He said he would touch it up when he came back to finish the job. Before coming back to finish the job he called and said he had miss figured again and went up on his price $750.00 more dollars. That was enough. I had to get another Fence Co to finish the job. Kelly will over promise and under deliver..... Beware!!!!
