I have found Ace Golf Carts to be very helpful. I have purchased tires for my golf cart and a charger from them.

I took my car to them after having it serviced at salty Frye's three time and they told me it's an old cart and the speed and the slowness of the start is because it's old and when I took it to ACE they replaced the starter and gave me more speed and my cart has been running super sense they fixed ace cart company is top notch number 1 in my books go see them they will take care of you read more

This place is a total joke. Frankie is a crook and will screw you. Do not give this place your business. He's a real shyster!! My quote for my golf cart repair started at around $150 for a five minute job then once you leave they keep calling back saying it's need this and that up to $1500 for a repair. The part cost $30 he charged me $50 and $100 for labor and who know what the other bullshit charges were for. I will never ever step foot in Ace Golf Carts again! Good riddance crooks! I just want to say the staff was AMAZING with my family and I. It was our first family vacation in SC and our first time renting a golf cart and they were so helpful and patient. Originally we saw the owner (and we didn't even know it yet) and asked him where he got his golf cart and he sent us here (of course)! We went in and the gentlemen working inside were very welcoming and next thing we know the man we saw at the light is the owner! We got a 6 seater cart and it made our trip an absolute dream getting around. My 2 sisters and I went in on Monday and reserved it and the gentlemen in there were so kind and they got all of our jokes. Made it a really easy process for us. Even after we left we had very little idea of direction and they helped us understand where we can and cannot ride the cart. We appreciate this group so much for everything! Thank you! read more

I bought a golf cart from Ace a couple years ago and it was horribly built. The steering was loose to the point where I was afraid I would drift into oncoming traffic. I took it back to Ace within a week of purchase and he offered nothing!!! I took it somewhere else to be repaired and was told the parts were all worn out and cheaply built. We took our golf cart here for service this past week. This business is so unreliable. They were rude, sarcastic, and don't know what they're doing. They didn't even call when our golf cart was "finished being repaired." I absolutely do not recommend this business! They are beyond rude!!!!!! I have a 20 yr old golf cart that was hit by truck causing damage to front tire and cowl. Ace picked up my cart and gave me a very high estimate. So I called another store to get a 2nd estimate and they suggested since my cart was old to just switch out entire body with a used body. When I went back to Ace I explained that I wanted to get my cart and he said I owed him a pick up fee, an estimate fee and a storage fee! I felt like I was backed in a corner so I asked Mark to give me price on used body. Got a fair price but then I was told this was the cash price. He also gave me a price if I paid by check and another price if I paid by credit card! The whole experience was very frustrating. I did let him fix my cart, used body is fine, just a few scratches. Actually looks better than before. But I wish they had given me options as to how to repair the cart instead of how to pay the bill! I won't ever go back. Not a good experience at all. read more

Ace golf carts is the worst business I've dealt with. I paid over $8000 for a cart and within a year the seat backs which they added were rotted out,apparently made of pressboard. After 3 years the metal step was completely rusted out.when approached for some adjustment they were belligerent and came to my house and acted in a threatening manner. I recently purchased a refurbished golf cart and had it delivered to Isle of Palms outside of Charleston. Unfortunately it had a couple issues. The windshield did not fit properly and the lights were bad. After speaking with Ace and without hesitation they overnighted a new windshield and an entire light kit free of charge! Tourists BEWARE!!! The owner of this place, whom also owns Myrtle Beach Golf Carts is a class act scam artist at his best! This guy will treat you like gold and even cut you a better rate for paying cash as opposed to credit. While some would argue that paying cash is cheaper for a business, their operation relies heavily on folks not being able to dispute a charge with their major credit card company in the even if an ole fashioned screwing. We rented our six passenger cart only to discover on our first trip out that there was something seriously wrong with the front end. When I called in I was shuffled around with callbacks from at least three different people before someone was out to fix our cart. The gentleman who came out to fix it, Thomas, was very professional/friendly/knowledgeable which is all I can say for this company. Once our cart was repaired we took to the road. Not long after being out on our first trip we were pulled over by a police officer who informed us that we were operating an illegal vehicle on the roadway and ultimately we were given verbal warnings for four moving violations and told to bring the cart back to our hotel. I spoke to our front desk and we were told that golf carts are not allowed anywhere along the main strip of road and only on residential streets. Of course when we were in the process of renting the cart we were told we can drive anywhere that's not Highway 17, speed limits 35mph and below are allowed and no night time riding. The following morning we returned the golf cart shortly after the shop opened. I explained to the owner what we had gone through with the repairs and the encounter with the police officer and all he had to say was "did you get his name? If so, you should file a report on him for wrong doing"... whatever that is suppose to mean. Anyways I asked if he would be willing to give me some kind of refund beings we had returned the vehicle with a tank of gas and two full days early. He kind of smirked and said that his company doesn't offer any kind of refunds due to people not knowing where they can and can't drive. Thats where things really took a turn for the worse. I told him I thought his no refund was a joke and gave him a few choice words about how he runs his business at which point he balled up his fists and proceeded to get in my face and ask what I was going to do about it. My father in law stepped between us and told him he needed to chill out and gave the man a piece of his mind. I have every intention on filing a report with the Better Business Bureau when I return home and will be sure to let my future clients know to avoid this man and his lousy company. read more

When I bought the golf cart there 4 or so years ago? They promised that i would get free pick up and service going forward and they honored this for a couple of services . If I could give zero stars I would. Buyer beware. This is the most shady business ever. The owner is very nice & will tell you everything you want to hear to get your money. We have had nothing but trouble since the day we got our cart. From missing parts, to a broken charger, the cart not going fast enough (only 10mph!), and now it's smoking & is not drivable! They refuse to help any of these issues. Will be reporting them to the BBB as well. Please do yourself a favor and drive right past this sham of a shop. read more

We bought a golf cart from Frankie at Ace Golf Carts after visiting several other golf cart stores. Frankie offered exactly what we were looking for at a fair price. He asked him to customize a cart for us, and we exceeded our expectations. Our cart has a lot of power and turned out just gorgeous. He did everything he said he was going to do, when he said he was going to do it. He is awesome to do business with and we recommend him to anyone looking for a great golf cart. Went to Ace for new tires for my golf cart. Everyone was very friendly and after I picked out the tires I wanted I paid for them and the sales person said they would have someone come by my house around 2pm to pick it up. Thomas called me about 1:30 and said he was on his way. He got here around 2pm picked up the cart and said he would get it back to me as soon as possible and he did. Thomas called me the next morning at 8:30 to tell me he was on his way. New tires look great and I found the level of service to be exceptional. read more

We just recently moved to North Myrtle Beach and was looking for a golf cart at a good price. Wife and I stopped at Ace and found a used cart that was being traded in for a new cart. We purchased the cart but wanted new seats and top installed. Was going to take some extra time before cart was ready so they loaned us a cart at no charge until ours was ready. wish you had a zero minus rating...I have had the worst, rudest, most frustrating "service" from "Frankie" and his crew of liars. It took me 3 months and 27 phone calls to ever receive the rain curtains bought and paid for on Sept 01 2015.FInally arrived Thanksgiving week. Also upon delivery of this new cart the rear seat arrived with a razor cut slit in upholstery.... now at 6 months later, I'm.still waiting for replacement! No pick up, first charger defective, and batteries (supposedly new) only last about one day. Save yourself a pile of grief and don't shop at Ace! read more

This is the absolute worst business I have ever dealt with! I purchased a pre owned golf cart from Ace. It was a complete lemon. They even gave us an old battery charger that had been corroded and it was the wrong voltage for the batteries. I called the store to ask what their warranty was and they told me they were not fixing it and would not give us the battery charger needed for the model we purchased. I went to the store to speak with the manager in person and he actually cussed at me and was extremely confrontational. I reported them to the Better Business Bureau (where they were rated a D.) We traded the golf cart with another local golf cart sales shop within days and couldn't be happier with the new one. If I could give them 0 stars I would. read more

Absolutely horrible company! We have a vacation home right around the corner from Ace. We took our gas powered cart in for service and to purchase some accessories and upgrades. Everything was great until we picked our cart up. They had removed our pinstripes and attempted to paint them back on! It looked horrible like a two year old had done it. The steering wheel that they had put on was used! We tried to talk to the owner about the condition of the steering wheel and striping but he told us that he didn't care about the quality and pay the bill if we wanted to get our cart. He was very intimidating. We paid our bill and vowed to never go back. When we got our cart home we had to disconnect the new radio and speakers that they installed because it kept killing our battery. We have started using Graham's in Myrtle Beach. They pick our cart up every year, service it and return it quickly! They are awesome! We are on the way to Graham's now to either buy a bunch of accessories or possibly trade our cart for a new one! Don't use ACE! They are the worst! The owners are such jerks! read more
