Rude employee! I called and talked to a manager about some Milwaukee M18 batteries. He was helpful. I told him I would come in after work and get them. When I arrived, talked to a store associate, (didn't catch his name, but I did catch a whiff of his TERRIBLE B.O. ). I told him about the conversation I had with his manager, he got irate and started yelling " you didn't call here! Who here supposedly talked to this guy?" Wow, take a pill man! He kept saying I didn't call - then I showed him my call history... is this your number...? He said I think so, but you didn't call here... then just walked away! They lost the batteries that they were supposed to hold for me, so I went to Home Depot and got them for $20 cheaper Hire better employees, and make sure that they wear deodorant

If you're looking for Big Green Eggs or egg add-ons, grills in general, Yeti or even OXO, this Ace has it. They have a weird assortment of pretty much everything. We've gotten Ook picture hanging hooks, stainless steel hardware for mounting a dock ladder, broom and other miscellaneous items here. If you're willing to pay a little more for convenience and not have to deal with the one-guy-who-won't-move-out-of-the-way-in-front-of-the-one-thing-you-need-at-Home-Depot, then this is a pretty good one stop shop, especially with Publix and TJ Maxx and Total Wine next door. You actually get greeted when you walk in the door.

I'm one of those people who prefer to fix or repair things myself, and I usually can, but not without some good advice or being able to located the materials necessary to do it. Also, since I only go to a hardware store after something has gone terribly wrong, it's nice to find a friendly understanding face. Though I didn't expect to find all of the above in a mall hardware store, I did. They are well stocked with just about everything and anything you might need plus knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and understanding.

Ace is one of the only places for the rockin' electric weber Q 1400. table and chairs from ACE, too.

Ace really came through in the clutch for me on patio furniture and a grill. Great price, cheap delivery, excellent customer service. Are you a Vet from a Middle East campaign? You'll be happy to know that Ace will haggle with you on price for certain items. Give them the chance to meet your expectations here. They pretty much gave me a table for free with the purchase of four chairs. I needed an electric grill because I have an enclosed patio. The Weber Q series is the only one I've found worth buying, and not too many people have it. Check. No discount here, but the grill is a heavy hitter. Expect personal treatment here as if your in a family-owned hardware store. It's nice and small. You'll feel right at home.

The manager didn't think he had what we needed any longer, but checked with a staff member. They had one kit left, but only in white -- the wrong color. The staff member said we should order it on Amazon (!). I explained we were trying to "shop local" ... In any case, the manager gave us some suggestions of some larger stores that might have more inventory. He even suggested we call a location in advance to see if they could order it. That was incredibly nice of him to do so... If you live in this area, and need something, please visit. They deserve to get some yelper business

I guess everyone has had different experiences with Hanna, but all of mine have been very good. Hanna Paint and Hardware is a smaller privately owned hardware store which for me offers a much better shopping experience than I have at the big box stores such as Lowes or Home Depot. Hanna's is a place where I can easily find someone knowledgeable to give me shopping assistance and sound advice. I know that one time I walked into Hanna asking for a specific item and the clerk told me, even though he did carry that item, it was really not the best hence not what I should want. So, I picked up the other item he recommended and yes, he was so right and it was so much better. The chances of me getting good advice like that elsewhere are at best, remote.

The Fort Lauderdale location had plenty in stock, so I decided to check it out. I pulled into the large two-level parking garage and found a decent spot. Upon entering, I approached an employee and showed him the picture of the disposable gloves from their website on my phone, asking where I could find them. He quickly stated the the gloves were sold online and then proceeded to tell me which aisle carried disposable gloves. The aisle had a small section of disposable gloves for specific uses. I took a few minutes to weigh my options, then made my choice and headed to checkout. Before the cashier scanned the item, I asked her opinion regarding the use of the gloves for marinating meat. She looked at the gloves and asked if there were specific ones I wanted. I showed her the picture from their website. She used a store device to look up the item and told me it was in stock and where to find it. While thanking the employee for her help, I couldn't help wondering why the previous employee couldn't do the same. There they were, in the aisle with all the grilling items. At checkout, I realized the item was marked down, which was even better. I got what I actually wanted and I'm glad that I went with my gut to ask somebody else who provided exceptional customer service.
