I waited some time to post this because people have bad days. After 5 visits to this store recently, I have to say something. Holly has to be the worst person to have in customer service that I've seen in a long time. I'm also in customer service so I have an ear for recognizing a customer's good and bad experiences. I have had personal bad experiences with Holly as well as witnessing others. Every other person in this store is phenomenal. But when everybody sees Holly treat customers as well as other employees poorly, something needs to be said. I love this store and all the employees with the exception of Holly. She does not represent this store well. read more

As one of the stores largest commercial Customers with a large service shop down the road constantly coming up here to buy bolts and miscellaneous parts constantly. I just went to fill my camper up with there propane as I have several times in the past. There machine couldn't count so I said I would pay for the whole capacity of my camper which is 96 pounds then instead of the usual sub 1.00 per pound price propane goes for they tried to charge me 5.99 a pound to fill it up. Was in the process of replacing a vanity, sink and faucet when I ran into an issue. Had been to the big box stores where the staff couldn't offer a solution. Walked into Ace and a young man greeted me and asked how he could help. Explained my need and he scanned the display with me for a moment then said he'd get help. That's when Charlie introduced himself. He asked a few questions and thought a moment then offered up the solution. I went with the plan and it worked flawlessly. Lesson learned. Big box stores sell lots of merchandise for less money. Ace provides service and know-how. And they are always close by. Do yourself a favor and shop your local Ace. Great people and hard to find items along with many everyday as well as excellent equipment. I'll be shopping this store regularly. read more

Great Staff and always feel welcomed when I walk in. But, You will likely be charged more than what the price is on the shelf and they seem indifferent about it. Their shelf price and and the price that register rings up are different. Been this way here for years and they know it. Watch out... read more

It's been a while since I made a review anywhere. I just moved to the area and was very surprised that as soon as I walked in there was someone to ask me if I needed help or guide me where I need to go. The staff was also knowledgeable and in a good mood the three different times I been there so far. read more

This is my local store, staff members are very helpful and greet you upon arrival- Love my Ace Hardware store!!!

We went into Ace today the helpful hardware place to buy an electric grill. The gentleman came over and removed the tag and said it's not on sale anymore you can't have it for that price. He then proceeded to tell us he was just being a jerk because he had to work on a Saturday. This should have been our key to leave. We asked if he had any in boxes he went and looked. He came back and advised no. We asked him if they offered anything additional off for the floor model. The manual was missing and we did not know what else. The manual is important as we were going to put the grill at a rental property. He advised a $1 and said don't buy it and walked away. Needless to say we walked away as well. His career choice is not the fault of the customer. If he does not want to work on Saturdays maybe he should look for another place to work. We often go to this Ace to purchase items. However, today was our last trip there. If I could have given 0 stars I would have. Buying from local isnt always better if this is the way they treat their customers. read more

Ace ain't the place, etc. Very disappointed! We went there looking for a liquid cleaner to clean the floor of an enclosed porch. There was nobody to help us. There were 3 young fellows upfront....2 were doing nothing. My husband did find some blades for a trimmer, so we were in line to complete a purchase. Really felt sorry for a lady who asked for a price list for dirt that was outside. They didn't have one. She said that there were no prices outside so she didn't want to choose without a price. They said they couldn't put paper prices outside because they would blow away, or get wet!?!?....and she said she couldn't buy without a price, so she left. The owner needs to take charge here, and know that these young guys aren't getting the job done! read more

Very disappointed. Unresponsive staff. We dropped of screens to be repaired. They sat on them for almost 3 weeks. Never were fixed. No reason why. We picked them up and will go elsewhere. read more

Amazing staff! I was in the middle of installing shelves, but I was having difficulty getting the screw and tiny hole to match up. I entered ACE and was immediately warmly greeted. Convenient because there isn't a lowes or home depot close by, but the prices are a little higher. When the store changed management I thought they would totally redo the inside as the layout was pretty bad, but they didn't change it much if at all. They are good if you are looking for unique types of screws, that is if they have it in stock. read more
