A perfectionist's painter. Though Mark had painted the interior/exterior for two of my neighbors with gorgeous homes, I never anticipated being as impressed as I was. If you want a high integrity, attention to detail, reasonably priced home improvement painter that is also a great guy. Look no further. I am not one to hire solely off of a low price quote. That has never worked out well for me. With that said, Mark answered my call while he was out of town with his family. He arrived as scheduled. I knew after our initial conversation that I would like him to do the job. But I had to do my due diligence. He had several homes in my neighborhood that he recently painted. Mark also emailed me three prices that covered different levels of paint quality and coverage. I really appreciated that! He came back by to meet my wife and go over her questions and color combos. We found our painter but choosing the color palette was much more difficult. I highly recommend you buy sample colors and brush them on before deciding off sample chips. To secure a timeline and schedule a start time. We paid 10% upfront. If any of the other contractors requested this, I would have been apprehensive. My wife and I were very comfortable with this request. He started sooner than we expected, arrived daily when he said. I had to send him home to his family when he wanted to work to long. We recently bought a new home and needed the fence painted. We hired Mark and he did such a great job that we asked him to paint the interior, which really needed it! The job was challenging as Mark needed to work around two sets of contractors but he got everything beautifully done, on time, including repainting an area after a contractor had to open the wall to access plumbing. He helped us choose colors and we are very happy with the results. We will definitely call him again when we are ready for exterior paint. read more

I called to get an estimate on Friday, he came over that same night and gave me a fair estimate. We scheduled the job for that upcoming Monday. He called me on Saturday and said that his job finished early and that he could come and do it in the next hour or so if we were home. Um, heck yeah! He brought a worker and knocked it out in an hour. The price was reasonable and he did a good job. No complaints. I had invited Mark to our home so that he could provide us with a quote to paint the exterior. Our scheduled appointment was for a Friday, he called on Thursday evening asking if he could come that evening. My initial thought was, great, lets get the ball rolling and the quote sooner. When he arrived, he was fine but tried to sell us on extras around the house such as fence staining, which I told him I wasn't interested in. When he left he said that he'd have the estimate to us within a day or two. I ended up calling him, asking for the estimate not once but twice. I choose to go with a different company. The company I went with was comparable in price but didn't leave me feeling that I was not competent in making home improvement decisions. Customer service was a big influence on my decision making. You may mention to your other potential clients that you have your estimates to them 72 hours, sadly you told us 24 to 48 hours. read more
