She went to the front of the store and started chatting with a coworker. I waited. And waited. Finally, I went up to the front of the store, and on my way out the door I said "Thanks for your help." I went into the store to get ice and water for a 1/2 Gallon Water Jug. This really rude Jerk yelled at me "Don't even think of filling that Jug with Soda Pop" I don't drink Pop. I just drink water. I was trying to put ice in my Jug. I could here one solid junk of ice in the machine. I only got a few shavings in my jug. The person that I believed to be the owner of the store told me that I would have to pay for a bag of ice if I put ice in my 1/2 gallon Jug. I thought I saw the person that I perceived to be an owner go out a side door. I headed out the side door to show him that I only got a few shavings of ice and thus I would not be paying for a bag of ice. He yelled at me from within the store. He thought I was leaving and stealing a jug full of ice. The Jerk banned me from the Store and told me to never return. It would have cost me over $100.00 to fill my Fuel Tank. I left with 1/8 tank of fuel and made it to Mancelona. I had a wonderful meal at Mancelona BP and filled my Fuel Tank. I find Irony for being banned from a Store that I live 150 miles away from.

Supplies for dogs, cats, small pets ... but also horses, cows and other small livestock. I have a bad memory that has not faded much over time. I think this place opened back in 2006 or 7. When it opened, there were bulk dog biscuits for sale. We got some, and within a couple of weeks, meal worms hatched out of them. Ew! From a brand new store? They must have bought old stock from some other store. On my recent visit, I did not see any bulk dog biscuits, and not very many dog biscuits at all. I am very, very careful not to get anything with ingredients from China, so I didn't see anything that really attracted me. I did notice Blue Buffalo cat & dog food. Along with some more common kibbles. There were a lot of leashes and harnesses for cats & dogs. What I don't like is that whenever I'm in a store like this, I have to keep an eye on my dog, who loves to find fallen kibble on the floor. She doesn't have any allergies, but I still don't like the idea of her eating anything I can't identify. We usually stop in for hardware items. That's about all this place is good for, in my opinion. I left without a purchase. I decide to give them another chance. I go in looking for economy studs which are popular with any lumber yard. The associate had no idea what I was talking about and gave me the response we only sell premium studs. Ok, see you later Alden lumber... you are a mile from my house and I have a lot of projects.
