I host many events and do a decent amount of event planning, so I am familiar with most rental companies. Ace has outperformed every one of them. Their rentals are clean, in good condition and competitively priced. Extremely unprofessional delivery and pick coordination. I organized a specific pick up window (10am the next day) for the party rental equipment two weeks prior to the event as the venue of the party was kind enough to allow overnight storage after the event. I called Ace Party Rents the next day at 9am and the person I spoke to on the phone could no longer guarantee that time window as they were busy. I told her that was impossible for me to organize as I had other work meetings scheduled for that day, so we settled for a 11am-1pm pick up window. The time window pasts and still nothing. I called Ace Party Rents again to express how displeased and unprofessional this was as I had already been waiting for more than 3 hrs and moved work meetings to accommodate their changes. All I got was "I'm sorry". Do not recommend their services. read more

Four years ago I rented some party supplies from Ace Party Rents for my wife's 50th birthday party. At that time your service was perfect. All the supplies were delivered and they were on time. So I chose to use them again in June for my daughter's high school graduation party. However, the experience was very different this time. First, the condition of the tables was quite bad. A couple of them were really beat up with tops cracked, rippled and uneven. At one point during the unloading, one of the delivery guys said that all 7 tablecloths were missing and would have to return to the shop. By this time it the decorators I had at the house had prepared table decorations and flower arrangements for each table, but could not finish the job till the tablecloths arrived (which turned out to be an hour later). While the delivery persons were going back for the tablecloths I inventoried what they had delivered. I discovered that not only were the tablecloths missing, but also the 25 coffee mugs I ordered. However there were 20 saucers that I did NOT order. I can only guess that these saucers belonged to another order and those poor people were probably missing them. When I discovered this I called your office and notified them of this error. An hour later I got the tablecloths and the coffee mugs. After the delivery people left the decorators went to work on the tables. It was then we discovered that one of the 4 round tablecloths was the wrong color. It stuck out against the others like a sore thumb. By this point there was no time to ask for a replacement as guests were about to arrive. The decorators I had on site said they never saw such poor service. No one at the office called to apologize and the whole experience made me feel like I just did not matter as a customer. I wrote Laura at the company about all this and asked for a reply. It's been over two weeks now and no reply from them. Will never rent from them again. read more

The people here were awesome, sooooo above and beyond accommodating and just plain cool. I needed to rent the tent dealio for the weekend and they were so non-stressed about pick up times and drop off times. They said, "bring it back whenever you can on Monday, no hurry." They then threw in chairs for 80 cents each. They loaded everything into my car, said have a nice day and were one of the cheapest places I priced out. Ace Party Rents was an excellent company to work with! Bea is by far the most patient, kind, and joyful woman, and one of my favorite vendors! We used Ace Party rents for our wedding on May 30, and they were great. We found them through yelp reviews, and yelp did not disappoint! They met us on a Saturday, which was extremely helpful as our work schedules did not allow for Monday-Friday visit. Bea was very helpful, especially because they had recently done a wedding at the venue. She had a layout for the venue, and showed us what they had done previously. Throughout the process, as we changed the number of things we wanted, Bea was professional and never complained. She answered all of my emails in a timely manner, and was always friendly. At the last minute, we added a tent for shade. When it came, my fiancé said it wouldn't do what we needed it to do, so he sent it back. Bea did not charge us for that item, which I think was amazing!! I really appreciated Ace Party Rents sense of customer service. It was some of the best I've seen. Their items were on par with other rental companies in terms of quality, but I definitely got more bang for my buck there. They were very reasonably priced. Their workmen were efficient and professional. Everything was up and ready before I even got to the venue, they came even earlier then they promised to get things set up. At night, they had the whole place torn down and in their truck in less then an hour. We didn't know what to do with leftover centerpieces, so we gave them to the guys to take home to their wives. They all seemed really friendly and happy while doing their work, even at 1130pm! I would definitely work with Ace again, and would highly recommend them!! read more

I first used Ace when I was in jam 2 months ago. The rental company I planned to use wasn't going to be able to deliver. However they gave me an alternate rental company's number. The number turned out to be Anthony's personal phone. Anthony was patient, willing to go above and beyond to ensure I was taken care of. He is by far the best rental company representative that I've dealt with in my 14 years of event planning. I have since made other reservations with him. I use Ace for all of our outdoor party needs. I've rented tables, chairs, umbrellas and linens. They are so easy and friendly to deal with. They keep great track of what I've ordered and my delivery address, so re-ordering the same things is VERY easy. Delivery is prompt and courteous, they will also do the break down upon pick up. Of all the decisions I made about my event, choosing Ace Party Rentals was, far and away, the best one. I just left there after wasting 2 hours of Bea's time. One wouldn't be able to tell I was wasting her time. Bea kept going to the back to find samples for me. She walked me to the warehouse so I could see this thing or that. She talked with me about how they've set up other events and helped me choose tables, etc. The entire time she was sweet and smiling and genuinely present with me. She knew I was feeling overwhelmed by all the decisions I have to make, and that I've started to doubt myself, and she was honestly more like a friend than a vendor. I know she had other things to do, but she took the time to really help me, and I'm amazed and deeply grateful. What if I'd gone with a different company and they'd rushed me through everything? I feel so great about my choices now; I can't imagine how I'd feel if I'd chosen a company that got irritated because I was still figuring things out. My rentals are the backdrop of the entire party. I can't rave enough about this place. I found them via a Google search while looking for a table and chairs for a table read of a series. It was my first time using them and over the next two weeks -- including today -- I used them for set decoration and a huge get-together at my home. We rented 4 heaters from them for our wedding, two of them wouldn't stay on and Ace Party Rents never refunded us for the bad rentals. I called twice and they didn't seem to even care. I rented chairs and tables from Ace Party and while I was quoted $50 for service charge which I was more than happy to pay, THREE DAYS before my party, they added an additional $50 because they said there was an extra fee because it was on the second floor. Mind you, there was an elevator and it was one floor up and I explained that but NO, there had to be an additional fee. Also, they refused to come in on a Sunday unless I paid $100 more. If I knew that from the beginning, I wouldn't have chosen to go to Ace Party because there was another company that was willing to come in on a Sunday and they would have charged the same. I give them two stars and not one because the tables and chairs did look nice and they did finally deliver the stuff but at the very least they could have told me about all of their up charges from the beginning. read more

I used Ace for my wedding. Our venue was just a park so we had to bring EVERYTHING in. Ace is a little more expensive on some things than their competitors but in this instance you get what you pay for. They were totally accommodating & put up with my million requests to change the order over & over again without blinking an eye. They went above & beyond to work with me on getting everything lined up & on the day of our event they showed up on time and were able to transform the park in the very small window of time we had to set things up. Rented tables/chairs for a barbecue in the back yard. Meant to plan ahead but ended up dropping the ball and scrambling at the last minute. Called and picked up same day no problem. Extremely reasonable prices. (Two tables, twenty chairs for under $35!!) Super friendly service. Easy to work with. I picked up and dropped off so I don't know about delivery cost/service, but I would imagine it would also be great! Also, rented on Thursday to return on Monday. We rented everything for our wedding through Ace (tables, chairs, linens, flatwear, bar, lighting... EVERYTHING!). Wow, I cannot sing their praises high enough, but especially Beatrice! She was so helpful through the whole process. From the very beginning, she helped to make sure that we had everything we needed and everything was the best quality. The delivery guys were great and helped set up all the table and beautiful italian string lighting. I even needed heaters last minute because of an unexpected cold spell and they delivered them same day at no extra cost!
