My review is long overdue but wanted to emphasize how great Ace Stone was in my kitchen remodel. I used Danny/Ace Stone Fabricators in Oct/Nov 2022 to redo the countertops of my kitchen. Anyone whom has done remodeling- its beyond stressful. Especially in the kitchen where you need to eat and cook. However Ace Stone eased the stress of the remodel. I found Ace Stone on yelp and after reading the great reviews went with them. Danny was super responsive to all my questions. His team was fast and efficient in installation, which is hard to find. Plus its hard to find a great fabricator. Danny helped in recommending places to decide what type of countertops to go for- I ended up going for quartz after much research. BTW I also called 4 other fabricators to compare prices and Danny's was lower than several whom were more expensive and would take longer. How pleasant, working with a contractor who is so passionate about his work! We zeroed in on Ace Stone Fabricators because their principal, Danny Sabag, was so responsive to our inquiries. (This was after several granite fabricators did not even respond to our initial contact.) And Danny replied immediately to emails and texts all throughout the project. When we came upon one problem, a concrete substrate (made by a different contractor) that was unexpectedly thick, he solved it by increasing the bullnose thickness of the countertop to match-- at no additional charge. His template maker arrived precisely when he said he would, and made measurements that ended up with a granite countertop that fitted precisely. They even fabricated the bullnose such that the swirls on the granite surface matched the pattern on the fabricated bullnose like an expensive suit made by a master tailor. After the countertop was installed on our new barbecue island, Danny made a point of dropping by himself to see the finished/installed product: he was just as enthusiastic about the results as we were. Clearly master craftsmen, Ace Stone Fabricators is that rare thing, a contractor that is actually pleasant to work with! I needed a countertop for my outdoor kitchen. Our contractor referred us to his stone fabricator, who quoted an exorbitant price. I launched Yelp, searched for fabricators in my general area, and noted 5-6 companies (including Ace Stone). After a few calls, exchanging drawings and relevant details with all the companies, I received more realistic quotes. Danny was one of the competitive (but not the least expensive) companies. As I started examining each company's offer, I noticed that some did not follow up promptly - or at all. One gave me the impression that my job was too small for him. But Danny was constantly on top of things. If I had a question (I always have questions) he gave prompt and thorough answers. We started an exchange of information that led to my engaging Ace Stone for the project. A big deal for me is proper and timely communications. Danny excelled in this area. One of the most responsive and responsible contractors I've ever dealt with in any field. Danny's crew did an excellent job in installing the counter and backsplash (a last-minute addition that Danny accommodated beautifully). They even placed our very heavy grill head (250LBs) and double burner into the cabinets before they left. Grinding and sanding stone is a very dusty job. During the installation process, there was an amazing amount of dust in one specific area of my deck. It looked like a blizzard had left a blanket of snow. But, by the time they left, the guys had vacuumed all of it and it basically disappeared. If you've read this far, you are probably shopping for a stone fabricator. Do yourself a favor.
