The fabrics are stunning! If you're looking for something authentic to decorate an Indian themed space, then look no further. They have an amazaing array of silk brocade panels in every colour and texture imaginable. Their selection of cushions, cushion covers, and window panels seems almost unending. You can purchase product off the shelves, however, they also offer custom upholstery services. One would expect that the stuff they are selling would induce some sort of sticker shock, but that was not the case, as their prices seem quite reasonable for Toronto (6 beaded/embroidered cusion covers for $25 - and they were beautiful). All in all, I would recommend this place if you're looking for something different or if you just want to browse. The staff far outnumbered the customers and were a little too pushy. Are customers not allowed to wander and look at the products anymore? If staff don't see eye to eye with each other, perhaps they could wait until potential customers have left the store. One of the employees was trying hard to end the heated discussion by suggesting they talk about this later in private but the other kept pushing - not professional.

About a week later, I was told my chair was beyond repair. I picked it up and found a little shop called Broken Leg Furniture Repair. The owner is the repair man and he took it on. Well after shopping at every other carpet store across the city, we ended up back here for our purchase. The prices were comparable to other stores (less expensive than some of the stores catering to designers ), but the service was awesome. They are really passionate about the carpets and want to explain a lot to you about exactly what you're paying for when you buy the different types of carpets and the unique features of one style over another. They let us take a carpet home to make sure we liked it before committing, and they even delivered it on the spot by just carrying it over to our apartment! They do cleaning etc as well so I will definitely continue to get carpet related services here.

Worst Experience Ever!…read more The first time we went in, when we were unsure as to whether we wanted to use their services, they were the sweetest and extremely attentive. When we came back with our cushions their attitude quickly turned sour. The older woman, I believe the manager, was extremely rude (probably because she knew she had us). We were told a price double the amount of our initial walk-in, we should have turned around and ran. We were then told 3 weeks! Because they don't do any of the sewing on site, not something we were told when we initially went in. Also, we were told we had to leave our cushions there leaving us with no coach for the duration. We FINALLY get a call saying the covers are done and we go pick them up. We get home and they screwed up one of the zippers even though we gave SPECIFIC instructions on how to sew it because it is a custom pillow. We bring it back the next day they are open (Tuesday as they are closed Sunday and Monday) and we are told it could take 2 weeks to fix a mistake they made, the only 'apology' we received was a 'no one is perfect'. 2 weeks passes, no call. I call them, we are told that the cushion is done and that it 'just came in'. Just came in at 3pm on a Saturday? Who are you kidding, lady? I was not born yesterday. We get the pillow home and low and behold the f'd it up AGAIN! I would love to say that I will never go into this store again but looks like I will have to if I want this pillow fixed. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, they are terrible, rude and have no idea what they are doing! Also, they are extremely expensive for all the mistakes they have made that we now have to suffer for. If I could give them a zero star I would.

Knitting the Japanese way is really flexible, and the quality of the finished product is extremely good because of the special Japanese technique that goes into the craft! Connie also sells fine quality Japanese yarn (if you do something handmade, you need to use the best).
