Absolutely understandable, no issue with that. Come spring, we contacted Tom again about installing the fence. Gave us no concrete time aside from a general "I'll be out sometime next week". On June 16th, 811 was out on our property, without notice. Still, nothing from Tom. No text saying when he would be coming out, no calls about when the best time would be to arrive. We didn't hear from him at all until June 17th when we discovered he was physically on our property early in the morning, leaving my partner a message about how WE weren't ready to meet him. No consideration for scheduling, no notice, nothing. Instead blaming us for not being ready for him. Because of this, we decided to cancel our services with him. Very disappointed with the absence of communication. I hope he treats his next clients with a higher courtesy.

After one week, the 125 foot privacy fence, with a 8 foot gate was completely done. Tom was very professional, did quality work, cleaned up after himself and the beautiful new privacy fence will last a very long time. I am VERY HAPPY with doing business with Tom and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM to anyone for their needs.

Boat was going to be in Traverse City, and so they finally got us a quote by the middle of summer. Deposit given to them in less than a week. Not until the second week of October 2019 did the work get done. And the arch is too flimsy. We will have to add bracing ourselves as we are leaving the area on the sailboat in less than a week. Very expensive, $4K, for a flimsy arch. I recommend boaters and others look elsewhere for their stainless and aluminum work.

I used this company to install a Receiver and 2 transmitter remotes for the Liftmaster garage door…read moreopener in my pole barn. I also requested installation of an external keypad for open/close of the door from outside. Following the initial phone exchange and my follow-up to provide the serial number of my Liftmaster unit, the first visit to make the installation was several weeks later. They had to wait for response from Liftmaster regarding the correct parts, order the parts, and wait for receipt of the parts before they would schedule the installation. During the first visit for installation, they learned they did not have the correct parts to perform the work. They left without comment or explanation. I waited a week before finally calling them to ask what the plan was for completing the work. Following the same process as described for scheduling the first visit, several weeks later they returned to perform the installation. The first tech that showed to make the install couldn't figure out how to do it, so the "boss" was contacted and ended up visiting the site to do the work. The receiver/remotes worked fine after this second visit. However, no external keypad for operating the door from outside the building was installed. I wasn't home during the second visit, so I waited for a phone call to explain why the external keypad wasn't installed and what the plan was for completing the work. There was no phone call, but I received a bill for the work about two weeks later. The keypad was not included, so I called to inquire. The keypad was on the work order but had been overlooked/forgotten. About a week later they returned to install the keypad. They charged parts only for the keypad, but not for labor. The saga spanned ~10 weeks, the customer service/communication was poor, and for an $80 per hour labor rate...I wouldn't recommend their services.
