Initially, Jose agreed to having certain things in the house done, but conveniently forgot or denied it at the end when they wasted several weeks of not coming and working. He was concerned about the labor and at that time, was rushed. They did other projects in other areas during great weather, and seemed to make untrue excuses as to why they wouldn't show up or said they were coming and not let us know that they would never come until I called. It was a nuisance keeping up with them. Very much annoying. They initially messed up our staircase with huge joints and uneven level steps. Another contractor/brick mason who was walking by noticed. Even after the work was completed, the contractor was sooo nice to redo some things. This is unusual to be able to alter the work when a project has been completed. So given that if it is reasonable (like you are not re-doing an entire kitchen), seems like they were able to help live up to your satisfaction requirements... and for that, I feel grateful. Therefore, I found it worthy to post this review just for this unusual act of kindness on their part. As a result of all this awesomeness, we are now recommending a few family and friends to this business. They have already contracted to work on a friend's large backyard renovation. I find it momentous to be able to find such a decent contractor who goes above and beyond. Everything was written out in the contract and explained in detail (so no funny business going on.) As for the price points, based on the housing market, it was very reasonable. It is recommended that you contact them to review the work that is needed, for a quote and for an explanation. Also make sure that you mention you saw this on Yelp! so that way, the contractor knows that it came from me, so I can get a discount for my next projects, too!
