Absolutely worst customer service ever! Mainly because there isn't any! Have a card issue and you'll only get a robot on a phone. You should be able to call a front desk. I'm 10 minutes away from the bank and when I do go I see a front desk lady. Why doesn't she ever take phone calls? What's her job? Why can't I call the front desk and ask why my card got locked? Instead I have to listen to a thousand different options from an automated phone call and literally not ONE option is going to help me with I need. Worst customer service on the planet and incompetent. They messed up the title transfer for a vehicle I purchased and financed through them and no one took responsibility until three weeks after my temp reg expired. Now I've paid off my vehicle over a month ago and they said the payoff letter can take a month to send out (it's been nearly two months) and then they said they'd email me the letter within 48 hours(it's been a week). Achieva used to be a decent CR but they've really fallen off the mark these days. I would avoid coming here except maybe to get some change for larger bills if you're having a yardsale. read more

Achieva stopped cashing in government savings bonds, while the bank next door, Wells Fargo, is willing to not only cash the bonds but also give me a cash bonus for switching over to them. Guess I will be switching. Poor customer service, Achieva. read more

Been a member for over 40 years (before they went to crap), too lazy to close my account. Has not my primary for some time due to issues. One of many issues with this folks is when you call with a problem with their online banking they will try to gaslight you every time. Next time I am going to shoot a video of the issue and post it on social media. People need to know about this. read more

There are great people working at this CU. However they don't have after hours tech support. If you get locked out and no one is tyhee to assist you it becomes very stressful especially when some is waiting for their money. This procedure should be examined. read more

Would be 0 stars if that was an option. They have the worst customer service process ever! They have no problem at all giving out incorrect, misleading and false information. My experience in getting them to release a vehicle lien is a text book example on how business's should not treat their customer: The confirmation letter that you emailed indicating that the vehicle loan is satisfied is totally misleading and not accurate. Nowhere in your process do you account for the following: Direct transfer of funds from a linked financial institutional firm held for 3 days. Achieva had my funds for 3 days before I could see the transaction. The arbitrational 5 day hold Achieva placed on the cash transaction once the funds were finally posted. And now I am advised that you use a 3rd party vendor to update the state of Florida. That part of the process is certainly not disclosed in the email letter and adds further delays to the process. read more

This has got to be the worst bank branch I've ever dealt with. Everyone there makes you feel like you are inconveniencing them as soon as you walk through the doors. They always have attitudes and unwilling to be helpful. I drive an extra 10 miles to a different branch just to avoid these people. read more

Thank you to the employee who looked up the information I needed for my taxes and called me at home to tell me she had the info. No check image as the govt. does not return checks. Bad company policies. I have had a car loan for the past year with Achieva. With auto-pay, I never miss a payment and never late. My insurance increased this year so I shopped around and switched to a different carrier. I made an error in the new policy start date by one day. Achieva, along with their insurance partner, two months after the missed day of coverage, bought me an insurance policy for the day I missed two months ago. The charged me for 30 days of the policy even though it was in effect for one day. The answer I got from Achieva customer service was - that's their policy. The value of the assessed charge is equal to one month of interest they get from me for my loan. With 3 years left on the loan, they will lose a whole lot more from the lost interest than the fee they assessed as I am moving the balance of my loan to another financing company. read more

They closed the small dog side for a month for "improvement ". Dropped large chunks of sod and that's it. There are actually holes between the new sod and the sand pit it was. One lady has already fallen, and a dog left limping. No other "improvement " to be seen, like more shade, better seating. I guess I'm done with this park, it's not safe for dogs, or their people. read more

The employees at Achieva are the epitome of customer service. I have always been helped quickly and with a friendly staff person whether it was banking in a location or speaking on the telephone. They truly care that you are happy and 100% satisfied. I would say go to one, open an account and visit several times. I am certain you will leave where you are banking now and stay with Achieva. Love this branch. It is always clean and there is a hot beverage machine that makes yummy coffees, hot chocolates, and teas. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I love having a local credit union right down the street from my house. I wish they would update their website but otherwise this is a great financial institution. read more

Achieva was a great bank when I first became a member years ago but as of recently, their accounts have gone to crap. Situation 1. Credit card payments. The credit card payment is supposed to automatically pull from your checking account on the due date. The due date will say the 25th of the month but pull on the 5th of the month and sometimes overdraft your account. Since it started this around 4 to 5 months ago I am now better prepared than the first time around. Situation 2. Checking account transactions. You will have transactions appear and disappear making it hard to keep track of your money. I paid bills on Friday checked my account to make sure they went out and they were on the transaction history. Then I budget based on what is leftover in my account. Come Monday the money is gone from my account and so is the record of the transactions. Leaves me to wonder once again, will I overdraft? This also reminds me of a class-action lawsuit against PNC a few years back where they did something similar to their account holders. Situation 3. Their system maintenance. Their online banking is always under maintenance and this upcoming January it's just in time for mortgages to go out. I contacted the bank because I received a notice saying that all services will be unavailable including ACH payments. I was told I could either pay my mortgage early or let it go past the due date until their system was back up and running. The problem with this is, I won't get off work in time to deposit my check and make an early payment on my mortgage before they close for the day. I have never been late on a mortgage payment. Ever. The lady on the phone did not seem to care one bit and gave the impression of it's your problem, not mine, next call, please. Situation 4. Randomly switches you to checking plus. Every so often you will see a transaction pop up on your account that switches your account from regular checking to checking plus and this charges your account around $7. Always keep at least $10 in your account or you may overdraft. Situation 5. We were almost stranded in Colorado due to employee error and we live in Florida... While on our way out to colorado our card was skimmed and someone tried to pull 3 wonderful $65 shell gift card transactions from our card. The bank contacted me and informed me the card would be closed out which I was okay with because I had my credit card with me. Well... the lady from the bank called us back shortly after our call ended and admitted that she closed out both of our cards on accident, apologized and said that she tried to re-open the credit card and it may or may not work. Knowing we were 1,827 miles away from home, she gave us addresses to the closest co-op companies that we could visit to access our money but they closed within 30 minutes for the next few days. Since we knew we wouldn't make it to any of the branches in time we went straight to our hotel and asked them to run our card before it got any later and thankfully it worked! All of these situations occurred within the last 6 months. I don't know if management changed hands or what happened but something just hasn't been the same. read more

The staff at the Dunedin office are always friendly and always greet me with a smile. I have done business with the credit union for over 40 years (Long before they changed their name to Achieva.) It took me a while to get use to the new name, but it's the same great service! read more

Hello my name is Linda Hazley and I have been a member of the Achieva Credit union since 1987, 30 years to be exact. Yesterday May 15, 2017 around 1:30 pm I called the Dunedin Achieva call system to do business as usual regarding my account. The first person (lady) that I spoke with was very aggressive and rude, but I didn't get her name or Id #. Since all calls are recorded this person could easily be identified. The second time I calledl I spoke with staff by the name of (kelly ID #D16). this lady really gave me a hold time, which I didn't deserve her rudiness or her unprofessional attiude. I felt that she (kelly) owe me an apology, not the branch manager. I did speak with her supervisor on the matter and he assured me he would take care of the matter. My opinion on that is it's not acceptable because I;m not asking for someone to pitty me, just treat me like a abiding citzen and a loyal customer. Again reingrate I have never felt this way before in my entire time that I have been doing business with Achieva Credit Union, so disrepected and so angry. Antiquated system posts payments late due to latency. If you're close on dates, pay in person never on their website. They cost me a late pay and killed my home refinance. I would recommend sticking with a true bank where payments are posted real time. read more

This place is horrible and as far as I'm concerned a bunch of crooks. Paid my car loan off early and should've had a credit to come back to me as next payment was weeks from being due and they stated "Oh we don't do that here on car loans" Crooks and horrible people. read more
