She is always on time with her appointments, her manner is most welcoming and calming, and her treatment rooms are clean and neat. I went to Dr. Hu over six months ago because I could not get relief for the pain and numbness in my leg that was caused by slipping on black ice in February of 2015. I tried chiropractic treatments, but the numbness remained. Before I resorted to the opioids and nerve blocks of traditional medicine, my sister (a functional medicine specialist) suggested that, if I tried acupuncture, my numbness might go away.  I did; it did. It was like a miracle. I am able to walk again without discomfort. Dr. Hu's skill in using the appropriate treatment regimen has been so satisfying that I intend to continue working with her to take advantage of her skill in using acupuncture to promote overall well-being.  While I still don't know how those needles work, I do get the point--pain relief, renewed energy, and overall well-being.

It's been so beneficial over these past few months that I've been recommending pelvic floor physical therapy to all the women in my life. Trish has really put me at ease and I appreciate how she has taken the time to get to know me and build rapport with me to make it a comfortable/less awkward process. I hoped that she could help me with a chronic condition that Western medicine could not seem to cure. I have had a chronic cough for over 5 years (probably closer to 7 years). I was treated by a pulmonologist with steroid inhalers and nasal sprays, which brought some relief, but after a time, seemed to make the cough worse. After just a few sessions with Dr. Hou, my cough is nearly gone! Not only that, but she is helping me with gut issues and I don't suffer with an acid feeling in my chest anymore.
