I found it nearly impossible to find a primary doctor that I liked or made me feel like more than a number. I finally met Dr. Lableu and I almost feel I hit the lottery! Finally, a doctor who cares! I needed a medical doctor to help me with my obesity, and overall health. She has been helping me with that and other issues. She even shared with me her own struggles with weight, which helped me to not be embarrassed about my situation. Dr. Lableu felt like a friend right away. She actually listened to my concerns and took ample time to ask me questions about my overall health. She loves what she does(that is the first thing I noticed), and is always upbeat. I love that about her. She has partnered with another qualified doctor (Dr. Kenneth), and well, you feel the warmth and kindness as soon as you enter their office. Dr. Mui has always been extremely supportive and concerned with my well-being. She never pushed any medication on me that I wasn't comfortable with taking and she always followed up to make sure everything was okay. She went above and beyond for me to make sure that I was okay and improving and actually worked with my psychologist to make sure I was obtaining the best possible treatment. In conjunction with my psychologist, Dr. Mui saved my life. I will always recommend her to anyone that's looking for help. The one and only drawback to Dr. Mui is that she doesn't accept any insurance. But it's really because she's just that good. If you really need help and you're willing to pay for the best help available, Dr. Mui is IT.

I felt rushed, as if on an assembly line, and the adjustment was unsatisfactory. Although a simple adjustment is a covered service with my insurance carrier, with a $0 copay, the receptionist and office manager refused to bill for the service and demanded I pay the full charge, $50.00 (This was after I declined to schedule multiple other services.) I paid the $50.00 charge and left. I reached out to my insurance carrier for reimbursement assistance and they advised charging me was a breach of the provider's contract and the carrier attempted to reach out to the provider to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, they were met with hostility and defensiveness from the office manager, along with a flat refusal to reimburse for the service. I won't return to this provider, ever.

Gigi also did the kinesio taping, which really supported my shoulder well as it was getting stronger. I went to ten sessions, 7 at the old location on 249 and the last 3 at the new location. Her and her staff were fantastic. The only reason I'm deducting a star is because I do not care for the new location. It is VERY cramped and dark with no windows, like a dungeon, and the layout is quite strange. To get there you have to walk down a long, long hallway through another doctor's waiting room, then finally you get to the equipment way in the back by the emergency exit. I know she probably moved to this new office to save on rent, but it's a big step down from the bright, roomy clinic she had before. I would still return for PT with her, however.

By the time I began treatment with Dr. Siton I had already completed extensive treatments at UCLA Med. Center and Physical Therapy. My prior care givers told me that nerve tissue does not regenerate and I likely wouldn't regain full strength. Dr. Siton clarified that although nerve tissue doesn't regenerate, the body has millions of other pathways that can replace damaged ones. She was right and I regained complete health. In 2011, I experienced what the best doctors in Houston and The Mayo Clinic in MN told me was a relapse of CIDP. My only treatment recommended was the use of pain killers. I then again sought help from Dr. Siton. After several months of therapy, proper nutrition, adequate water consumption and hard work, I regained my complete health and achieved the highest level of physical fitness in over 20 years. Dr. Siton is a straight talker and has a diverse educational and experience background that I believe enables her to quickly see the root cause of a patient's ailment(s) and shares her observations in real time. I also asked multiple times about the cost of the visit, and no one was able to provide a clear answer. At that point, I decided to leave, I'm not going to wait close to an hour for a practice that doesn't prioritize patient care or communication. To make matters worse, I am still waiting on my lab results. They confirmed the results were received on the 8th, yet I have not received any follow-up or evaluation. Overall, the experience felt disorganized, and I would recommend considering another provider. Previous Update: I previously left a review for New Wave Physicians Group and, unfortunately, I'm updating it again out of frustration. In my original review, I mentioned that my experiences with Dr. Carder and Dr. Troung were positive, they were both professional, attentive, and helpful during my visits. However, I also noted ongoing issues with the front office staff, and those problems have only gotten worse. It is extremely difficult to reach anyone by phone. Calls often go unanswered, and when someone does pick up, it feels like a rare occurrence. I've had to call repeatedly at different times of the day just to speak with someone, and on multiple occasions I've been placed on hold and then disconnected. More concerning is what happened after my most recent appointment with Dr. Carder. I went in for serious symptoms, had an EKG performed, and completed lab work. I specifically asked how I would receive my results and what the next steps would be regarding treatment or medication. I was told I would receive a phone call, but that never happened. After calling over 50 times, I finally reached someone who informed me that my results had been available for quite some time but had not even been reviewed. I also followed up on a sleep study that was discussed during my visit, only to find out it had not been submitted. The medications I was told would be prescribed were never sent to the pharmacy either. On top of all of this, I still don't have access to the patient portal. Despite multiple attempts to get assistance from the office staff, no one has been able to help me get it set up. These issues have been ongoing and are now affecting my ability to receive timely care. At this point, I feel like I've given this office more than enough chances and will likely be looking for a new provider.

I've been told more than once that i need to see the doctor for a refill, despite having literally just been in his office 30 days ago. We're talking about meds i've been on for 4 years. Birth Control. Blood Pressure. Cholesterol meds. And I very regularly have to fight the incompetent office staff about the fact it's NOT time for another visit yet. They're constantly trying to milk me like a cash cow. Right now i've been off my meds for 2 weeks, diligently trying to reach the Doctor. But no messages ever get to him. I'm told i need to be in office to get a refill on my birth control, i saw him 7 months ago. It's not a controlled substance. I should not need to be seen more than once a year for this. I also had problems with the Nurse practitioner forcibly pulling me OFF my medication without my consent, despite being IN AN ACTUAL APPOINTMENT WITH THE DOCTOR AT THE TIME SHE TRIED TO MAKE THIS CHANGE WITHOUT EITHER OF OUR CONSENT. i feel like my health is being held hostage by someone with a ledger and a red pen in the back office.
