More concerning was that my ability to receive care appeared to be influenced by my husband's account status rather than my individual medical needs. This raised serious concerns about professionalism and patient-centered care. Additionally, the billing practices were excessive and unexpected. Appointments routinely exceeded $550, and I was charged at a rate of approximately $175-350 per hour for every minute of time spent, similar to an attorney's billing structure. Because there is no support staff, any time spent outside of scheduled appointments--regardless of how brief--was also billed by the minute. This was not clearly communicated upfront and felt unreasonable given the already high cost per visit. Patients deserve transparent communication, ethical decision-making, and care based on medical need rather than financial considerations. Unfortunately, that was not my experience, and I cannot recommend this practice.

So, it was unexpected. We were there around 7 or 8 and had just come in and saw two other family members sitting outside of the room. (They patient was still getting situated inside) so we were trying to gather information about the situation as we waited. I took note of a bag at the opposite end of the bench but thought nothing of it. We kept chatting while we waited to go in the room. Then out of nowhere a woman, a nurse, comes in, masked up, and draped a towel over her bag and walks away. Now. I'm only writing this as a review because I truly feel like this is microaggression. Why not just get your bag? Was us discussing our sick family member infecting your bag, in a HOSPITAL where YOU WORK? I mean your bag was cool to be there in the open before my family members were sitting there. With all the hospital germs floating in the air laying on them caressing them depositing on them what they will. And now that there was a few people near your possessions you need to cover them? We were appalled. Astounded.

My husband initially went in on Monday at 9:30 AM experiencing intense pain early in the morning. There were no lines when I arrived, the office was clean, and the staff were polite and professional. During the visit, they drew labs and gave me a referral to have an ultrasound done (which I was able to get done that day at 1pm). I was told that they would call me with the results once everything was reviewed. Wednesday, the clinic contacted us with the lab results, but they had no update regarding the imaging. I then called the imaging center myself and was informed that the ultrasound images had already been sent to the clinic Wednesday afternoon. On Thursday, I went to the imaging center in person to pick up a copy of the results and the CD containing the images. I called the same day (Th) and was told the NP should have the results reviewed by Friday. When I followed up today(Friday), I was told that it may not be reviewed until Monday. While I'm grateful my husband's pain has mostly subsided and is feeling almost back to normal, the delay in reviewing the imaging results feels unnecessary and frustrating. Especially considering the imaging center had already sent the results several days ago. Overall, my initial visit was positive in terms of the cleanliness of the office and the friendliness of the staff and cost of the visit. After calling they are more annoyed and don't seem to care that patients are left with no answers. The delay in communicating diagnostic results and providing follow-up information has been disappointing and has left me waiting longer than expected for answers. This is my second time going here for labs and imaging (first time with my son) and I didn't experience this type of delay so hopefully this isn't what usually happens.

About an hour after opening, I used the restroom and found it in unacceptable condition (video attached), which immediately raised concerns about cleanliness. In the exam room, containers of Q-tips, gauze, and cotton balls were left uncovered, and the strep test was performed without gloves or handwashing. We interacted with three different staff members who neither washed their hands nor wore gloves while caring for our daughter. The technician who initially came in to take her blood pressure and temperature repeatedly used profanity and complained about missing supplies, including a stethoscope. Before leaving, I checked the restroom again and found it unchanged. The lack of cleanliness, infection-control practices, and professionalism was very disappointing.

St. Luke's Rehabilitation is top notch and they don't let you let miss a beat. So 2020 was rough. Recently had hand surgery here. Check in was not complicated…read more Pre-op was good and Ronda did a great job w/ my IV. CRNA snowed me w/ versed before leaving holding area. Post-op was when issues became a problem. The post-op nurse, Kathy, never asked my wife or I about my hand pain. We were rushed out. I know that it is outpatient surgery, but there was no post-op discharge Anesthesia/pain check. The post-op hand pain was severe and it took almost 8 hours to get under control. Hand surgery can be tricky, you need a good surgeon and a good hand therapist. I saw OT on post-op day 5 and was made a splint. I was told that I would get another appointment around post-op day 14 for suture removal and splint alternation if needed. I was told that it would take 3-5 business days for my insurance to approve an OT f/u appointment. On post-op day 16, I called the OT schedulers at Woodlands Pkwy and was told that I would get a return call later that day. Three days passed and I never got a call to schedule an OT appointment to have my sutures removed. So my wife and I removed my sutures. On post-op day 21, I tried again to make an OT appointment and was again informed that I would get a call back. This never happened. Having surgery is never fun, but having surgery and inadequate post-op f/u care/therapy makes it even harder to feel like you have obtained the best possible outcome. I will not have surgery at this location again, nor would I recommend it to a friend.
