Accompaniments were well portioned and seasoned. Had a bottle of wine for the table, great price for an excellent bottle. Ended with the cajun-spiced pecan pie. Absolutely wonderful. Most desserts are made in house; great feature. Given the quality of the food I'm surprised there weren't more people there on a Saturday night. Atmosphere at the front of the house was highly appealing. The large windows and bar-height tables were very tasteful. At the back of the house (dining room) there was definitely room for improvement. The pot lights were bright and the floors were old. You could tell it was a converted commercial space. The great food and live music make this place a must visit, just ask to be sat at the front of the house for the best experience !

WTF Sudbury!! what a big disappointment…read more We went out for a nice dinner and saw this very appealing place called Oscar's and we thought we'd try it. we were directed towards a table and were served by Anthony who was very nice. He assisted us with a good choice of wine. We ordered our foods and got our soup in due time. It was good. Then we waited and waited and waited. We inquired about the main course and 1.5 hours later they had not started on "fish and chips and Caesar salad"?? People that arrive after us had food served. We cancelled the main course and the manager was not very accommodating nor sympathetic towards our situation. We paid and left. I cannot recommend the food as we never got it, but the service needs adjustment. Good luck... businesses like this don't last very long. it's too bad as Sudbury really needs to up their eatery establishment.

That a relative of mine had placed there.Asked the owner to stay out of my truck Only to be swore at and told he go thru any vehicle out there he wanted. Actually got in my face and got loud in the middle of a wedding. Took ten minutes to get checked in while the staff was pouring drinks. At the front desk/ bar. Free breakfast was a joke Food in warmer but the staff waited twenty minutes to serve a dining room full of people till they had more food. Dinner at the wedding was supposed to be prime rib Instead got shoe leather and barely cooked vegetables.very pretty place I would not recommend worst service and watch out for the crappy owner going through vehicles If I could give zero stars I would

We waited to checkin at the office/bar/ restaurant for 10-15 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us. There were 2 women working making drinks. They saw us and never said a word. A simple "i'll be with you in a minute" would have gone a long way. We weee never given any rules, directions, check out times. The next time we went for breakfast. Although there was food in the serving trays, they made us wait for at least 15 minutes before we could go up for food. By the time we were able to eat, the place was packed. Saturday night we attended a wedding reception. Instead of using a tray, servers brought out 2 plates at a time. With almost 100 people there, our food was cold. The prime rib was very grizzly and tough. Even after requesting steak knives, it could barely be cut. The biggest disappointment and instant turnoff was the owner. When he was questioned about a situation, he became very loud, was pointing his finger in a guests face and was using profanity. His attitude, demeanor, and lack of professionalism was a total disgrace and unbelievable! Never have i experienced something like this!

The flavours all complimented each other really well and while it seemed like the lentils and chickpeas would be a weird combination with pasta and rice, it all came together really well. Service was really good, and they gave some bread and garlic butter while we waited for our meals. I do have to warn that the prices are a bit steep - my bf and I were tempted to pass on getting dinner from here when seeing the prices but decided to stay and try it out anyways. He ordered the lobster ravioli and it was around 36 dollars and was only 3-4 pieces of ravioli which was definitely not enough for an entree, but this is common I find with lobster/seafood dishes so I am still going to give 4 stars because my meal was a large portion and was very delicious.
