Communication through yelp was quick and easy. I had a bmw x1 tinted here with Air80 on windshield and llumar IRX on sides + back. The heat rejection is definitely noticeable compared to my other car. I waited 2 weeks to write this review after it is cured a bit and washed so i could see better. There are a few dust bubbles that I noticed but it's not that obvious. If it was within my line of eye sight, I would let them know. No tint shop has 100% free of imperfection so I am overall happy with the tints. I don't know if they would retint but I also didn't ask so I won't dock them for it. The price is comparable to some other places. I found cheaper ones but either the reviews or poor communication swayed me away from them. They answer quick, so I assume if I have/had an issue they would address it. By the way it's like a 20 min walk to target, so bring a snack/drink while you wait. HISTORY: I wanted to get the front windows tinted 30% on my 2021 Tesla Model Y. Firstly, I have been to ACJ before with my 2015 Civic and got front and back windows tinted with carbon 20% and it was great other than fading on the front tips of the tint where the window was covered by the rubber seals and that is why I returned. THE QUOTE: Through Yelp message they gave me a quote for my Tesla though I did not provide % I wanted. When I arrived for my appointment, they told me 30% was only available in ceramic - price was more than quoted. THE MAIN PROBLEM: the ceramic tint is green and my stock tint on the rear windows are brownish. I can definitely notice when looking at the car from the side. I just feel like they should have known and could have told me about the color difference since they have tinted Teslas before. NOW WHAT? I can probably go back and have the tint replaced under warranty since there are a few small bubbles. I was told they can replace with different tint % only if lower or same cost. BUT they will take longer for warranty work since its unpaid - prob over an hour. I just don't feel like waiting so I guess I will live with it for now... read more

These guys present the epitome of tint application quality. After attempting to support another local shop, I had to come back here for them to fix my tints. Some backstory. I went to a friend of a friend's shop (supporting an up and coming business ) to get an XPEL tint. They applied it so horribly that I couldn't stand it. Bubbles everywhere (after ~4 days in the sun), so much lint stuck under the film, and more scratches than on my phone's screen protector. I came back to ACJ (this would be my 5th car with them) because I know they would do me right. The gentleman assisting customers at the front of the office is legit -- Doesn't pressure to get one tint over the other. Presented the options they had and didn't tell me to replace my horribly done tints from the other shop. Humble enough to even say, "we don't bad mouth another shop's work." The tint came out perfect, per usual -- ACJ has always done a stellar job with my cars. They provide Llumar, 3M, and Suntek. Llumar IRX is what I got, 5% in rear and 30% in front. A bit lighter than my last car but I'm tired of getting pulled over Overall, completely satisfied with the job and the fact that they saved my sanity. read more

Avoid this shop if you care about your car and the quality of work being done. I had two vehicles tinted here, and the workmanship on both was subpar. The owner doesn't care if they did a bad installation and they are very dishonest. They play games when it comes to manufacturers warranty cards and it's shady. After carefully looking at their reviews, they have lots of fake profiles making them fake 5 star reviews. I specifically requested 3M Ceramic IR film for the front windows of one car, but I never received a warranty card. When I followed up, I was told they "don't carry it anymore," and therefore, I wouldn't be getting a warranty card. That's not only a poor excuse -- it's something that should have been disclosed before the service was done. A shop's future stock doesn't determine whether a customer receives a warranty card or not. This lack of transparency made me question whether the correct film was even used, especially since the tint looked noticeably different from the same product I had installed by a certified 3M shop two years ago (which did provide a proper warranty card). I also noticed much more low-angle haze with their "3M Ceramic IR" than with the 15% VLT 3M Ceramic IR I had installed previously at a 3M authorized shop. Even the receipt I was given is questionable -- it's a flimsy, handwritten slip that lists only "3M IR" and the price I paid. It doesn't clearly specify 3M Ceramic IR, and it lacks any meaningful detail. This kind of receipt could easily fade over time and offers no real proof of the specific product used. To make matters worse, they claimed that 3M doesn't warranty "illegal tint," which directly contradicts 3M's official warranty terms. 3M clearly states that they do not determine what is street legal and will honor the warranty regardless of the window it's applied to. I even have a medical exemption for darker tint -- which they didn't bother to consider. They were simply dishonest. I've spent the last three weeks trying to resolve this directly with the shop, hoping they would make it right. After some initial responses, they eventually just stopped replying and began ignoring me altogether. To confirm my concerns, I even spoke with a 3M rep, who reviewed photos and agreed that the installation was subpar and not up to 3M's quality standards. That speaks volumes. The rep tried to assist me as much as possible but 3M doesn't cover workmanship issues. The workmanship itself was also disappointing. The top edge cuts on both cars were rough -- some jagged, others uneven. One window in particular now makes an unpleasant noise when closing, likely due to the jagged cut rubbing or catching on the weather stripping. The other car had multiple creases in the film. It looked like the work was rushed or performed by someone inexperienced. No customer should have to return for something that should have been done right the first time -- and in my case, they didn't even offer to fix it. I was simply ignored. I went with the Llumar IRX50 on the rear windows & AIR80 on the front windows. They showed me different levels of tint but didn't push me to get a specific one. I was interested more in the heat rejection than privacy so went with above choice. Once i gave the car, they were done with the tinting in about an hour. There were no upsell or anything.
