I purchased a groupon which included all three back windows and was able to add on the two front windows for $60 each. I was able to easily make an appointment for a Saturday afternoon and they were very accommodating when I called to say I would be 15 minutes late. I decided on regular tint, 35% in the front and 20% in the back. Everyone was super nice, they estimated 2 hours but it was done in 1 hour and 20 minutes. Was looking for a small business to support; I called around to a few places and unfortunately the premium type of tint I wanted was pricey (even here) but All Shades Tint did throw in a little deal since I wanted premium. The product itself is great. I got it about a few months ago so of course I wanted to wait and make sure things stayed good. They did a great job putting the tint on and making sure it was the smoothest looking surface. I got the darkest tint on the back windows and I can still see out the windows at night when lights are around the car. Service could have been slightly better though (hence the minus .5 stars); I personally didn't get a warm enough greeting/interaction overall imo, and barely any smiling. His responses were a little too short. Customer service is just as important as a good product, especially if customers are dropping big bucks. Found this place on Groupon. They told me not to buy the Groupon and that they will charge me 240$ for the whole car including front windshield. I make the drive out there and he says "ohh I'll have to charge you an extra 90$" for the front windshield when he said over the phone that the 240$ covered the front windshield . I visited various car window tint shops in the South Bay and found that there are several reputable places. The highly rated places are expensive and the cheap ones comes at the expense of quality. I actually scheduled a job with a mobile tint place who advertises in craigslist who claimed to install "only 3M Ceramic" film. I texted if this was the case and they confirmed but after getting to my workplace, they pulled out boxes of an unknown brand (to me) "nano carbon" film and they claimed that there was no difference from 3M. I immediately asked them to leave and called All Shades Tint who also advertised that they carry 3M Ceramic. I drove from San Jose to Hayward and was immediately impressed by Manny and their clean shop in an industrial area in Hayward off Winton. He showed me the different types of film they install and agreed to get the 3M Ceramic as it was obvious that it's a higher quality and the shop is a legitimate authorized 3M dealer. The car (5 windows of a Toyota Camry Hybrid) was done in just over an hour and they did just an awesome job.
