When she finally sat down to order the glasses and fill out the order she never did take any measurements. I paid for the glasses and was told it would take 7 to 10 days to receive the glasses. On the 10th day I received a call informing me that she had errored and did not include a $14 charge and the order would not get placed until the $14 was paid. Even though it was her error I had to suffer the consequences with a longer wait. At this point I am doubtful I will receive them any time soon. I went in and paid the $14 and was told I now had to wait another 7 to 10 days. I did receive the one pair that the $14 was not attached to. The technician came and delivered them to me. She handed me the glasses and a plastic bag with the old lenses, no case, no fitting to see if they fit or if an adjustment was needed. This is the most unprofessional optometrist I have ever been to. On my visits to this office there was a gentleman setting next to me that hadn't received his glasses in the promised time frame also. If you use Dr. Matt Johannes as an optometrist I would advise you to get your glasses from a more professional optometry store

Unfortunately, my experience was BAD!…read more Eric Fry didn't make it seem like the FOREIGN OBJECT in my daughter's eye was not important or urgent enough to be taken out, NOTHING UNTIL SEPTEMBER. & on top of that front desk was being so rude and had an attitude with me over the phone, i definitely didn't feel like I was being heard. Took my daughter to Wichita, same day we were in an out and they were able to take foreign object out!!! Will be staying away from Fry Eye.

I had a terrible recent experience trying to to procure serum tears ("which their website says is possible). I came to them as a serum tears user. i was trying to find a closer and more cost effective provider. After my first visit II left the office with no clue how to procure a blood draw which is the first step. Due to total ignorance on the scheduling department it took me a month to get scheduled somewhere for a blood draw.. They lack a process and procedure for serum tears . I then found a place to get the prescribed potency of my tears at half the cost of their provider. Suddenly the prescription became not a prescription and I had to start over somewhere else. They refused to share my information with either me or another provider. My advice is to go somewhere else for serum tears. Even the Dr. was rude because I complained. Serum tears are very expensive and you pay out of pocket. The patient was not favored in their handling of my situation.
