He then walked straight back to the meat department. Customer service is awful. Self-checkout is the only option and it is poorly attended. Three days ago it took my wife and I 25 minutes to check out 3 items because the self-checkout kept malfunctioning and nobody was readily available to help us. It's obvious that nobody at this store cares.

After multiple visits I have only encountered one employee that was barely civil (service desk) and everyone else no matter what time of day has been very pleasant. And I have shopped during all shifts between 6am and 10pm on weekdays and during the weekend. I also like the fact this chain is employee owned. And they stock my favorite brand of bacon - Kunzler.i despise grocery shopping normally but I can definitely tolerate, and perhaps enjoy, shopping in this clean, uncluttered, friendly store.

Not a bad idea however when you have pickles mixed in with the cereal, oil mixed in with dog food, just random boxes placed on the shelf it makes no sense at all! It's a very unpleasant shopping experience, the only things that remain the same where are the items around the entire perimeter the rest is a nightmare. Milk spills and thrown paper towels made it feel like I was walking through an obstacle course trying hard not to step in any trash piles. Gross. A great meat selection. It literally had everything I needed. But the drive, the trash, the lack of organic produce will keep me far far away.

Super happy to have an Aldi's in concord, super close to me. Saving me the trip to Costco!

Easy store to navigate, and is not crammed. Lots of smaller or end displays with changing stock, keeps it interesting. Fast checkout! My only issue with this store is that they are VERY LAX ON PRICE DISPLAY. I know I'm shouting, maybe Gigante will hear me (this listing is unclaimed). Happily the cashiers are friendly and help scan things, but this is a pain....just about half of my items last time had NO PRICE labels on item or the shelf! Stopped me from more spontaneous purchases so maybe not a bad thing, but annoying nonetheless.

I like to cook and I can usually find most of the ingredients I need at this store. No matter if it is run of the mill grocery items or something that is considered gourmet; they usually have what I need. They also carry many ethnic foods. The store is clean and the aisles are wide. The store has a bakery, although, I question how much baking they actually do. Most of the baked goods are shipped in from somewhere else. Now, I'm not going to say that this store has the cheapest prices around, but with so many grocery stores in the area; their prices are competitive. Plus they have a gas program with Shell that rewards you for shopping there. They don't carry too many organic fruits, but they do have a nice selection of products for vegans and vegetarians, and they have gluten free products. This super market is an all around well-rounded grocery store.
