We love their breakfast sandwiches, burgers, cheesesteaks, waffles fries, and everything we've tried over the past several months. Northside Deli and Market is a nice place in Elkton I frequent. I usually get salads like seafood, chicken, tuna and egg all very good. I love their deviled eggs and I get sandwiches on rye bread. Other customers get hot subs usually steak or cheese steak. I have not heard anyone complain. The store has been renovated with space for a waiting or eating area. The cooks are nice and you have a nice variety of chips and drinks. One of my favorite spots in Elkton. read more

I spend a lot of money in Northside deli each year but on September 3rd 2023I went to pick up my order I wanted to get a cup of coffee. I asked the lady that was making subs if the coffee was fresh an she said she wasn't sure. The gentleman that runs the register was in the back of the store at the time he came out right after I walked up to the register,she asked him if the coffee was fresh and he told her it is as fresh as it's gonna be someone made it couple hours earlier before they left and that he wasn't making any more. This place is disgusting! Not only is this place filthy and messy it turn my stomach, I still decided to buy a sub anyway and why was my lettuce old, like really! I hate that one employee ruined the review for this place, but it can't be ignored. We ordered our subs which were delicious btw, but noticed a pregnant female employee who was walking back in from smoking, she walked right to the meat slicer and started slicing, touching every piece of meat she sliced with her whole hand, without washing her hands or putting on gloves. Good subs and good prices. Had the 6" ham & cheese lunch combo and there was plenty of meat, a good quality roll, and some chips for around $6. It doesn't look like much inside, but I'll take an "old school" deli-style sub over a meatless, over processed chain sub any day of the week. read more

Just happened to be looking for a deli in this area and tried Northside. The 12 inch turkey sub was $8 but was stuffed and enough to share between two people. French fries were also good. This is strictly carry-out; unlike a chain such as Subway, there are no tables to dine at either inside or outside. Easy parking in the lot. read more
