I am not a customer of Acme. This is what happened to me today. I was parked on Johnson street and accidentally locked my keys in my car-dumb thing to do but I'm sure someone out there can relate. I was trying to break into my car with a borrowed clothes hanger when Chis from Acme drove by noticed what I was doing and immediately stopped and without asking took over with all his tools and rescued me from wrecking my car...he did a professional "good Samaritan" job and he needs to be thanked and commended. I phoned for an estimate to have the ignition tumblers replaced on my Honda Civic. Ian gave me an estimate and said he could have a technician arrive the following morning. Christopher phoned me at 9am to say he was on his way. He worked on the ignition for a couple of hours. Apparently Honda has ignitions that are not designed well. He repaired my car and put everything back together again. Of course I checked the key in both the ignition and the door. All was perfect. I'm a happy motorist again. Great work at a reasonable cost and I'm still waiting for Honda to give me a quote. The service was outstanding. 5/5. read more

Was expecting a hefty bill to replace a car key with transponder but wanted the ordeal of the bent key to be over with. It was such a pleasant surprise that they suggested and were able to straighten it and didn't ask for a penny! I saved sooo much money! The only other person in the store had a small list of services and the total bill was only $40! I had a deadbolt break, leaving me locked out of my home and called Acme's after hours number. Locksmith Justin provided prompt service in drilling out and replacing my lock, and even adjusted a few things on the door and frame to prevent a similar issue in the future- all of which was much appreciated after coming home from work to find myself stuck outside my condo. My front door lock to my condo has been getting crankier and crankier. I was heading out of town and was worried I might not get back in! Acme sent Jason the same day I called. Jason did an amazing job of rebuilding the lock, cutting me two new keys and giving me maintenance hints for the lock. He went above and beyond! I felt the price was very fair for all he did. Excellent service. Excellent people. About two weeks ago the front door lock on my parents house stopped working and locked them out. We called Acme on a Saturday, and talked to the locksmith Jason. Jason met us at the house, then methodically and carefully went thru a series of steps to gain entry. No damage at all to the house. The cost was quite reasonable. Chris and Ian were really helpful when I had a combination lock that got jammed locking a bag closed! They tried a few methods to get it open and save the lock before cutting it off for me, free of charge.
