Hi Name is Irma Favero,…read more I have had ongoing health problems in the last several years and one of the needs was Cortisone injections and a nasty Bakers cyst that needs to be aspirated. My experience with Dr Mihir Randeria has been always excellent. Unfortunately, he has been moved around At CDC clinic locations which made it difficult for me to get to . My experience with DATS is you are always late and the wait can go up to two hours.Fortunately I was able to Track Dr. Renderia and he is at the Ellerslie location. Being blessed a friend took me to this appointment. I was so delighted to see him . No Anxiety and no Concerns his demur and Expertise on how to work on me is amazing he has given me hope again. It was done really well and you know what he drained my baker's cyst no problem Did not feel any pain. As for the Physicians who are hearing the patients pain about the arthritis and bakers cyst .It is very difficult for a patient when they have chronic pain a in both knees and a baker's cyst a mist other health issues and to about obesity. Yes, I understand that my obesity over the years has Decade my body ,But if to be said I worked as a Crisis manager for ECSD for along time and Raising a child on my own and going back to university were really trying times for me.Now by all means that's no excuse for not looking after myself . I am human and not perfect. It is such a blessing when you are not judged and the Doctor truly cares .I feel so gratefull for Dr.Randeria .He has healing Hands . Thank-you . Irma Favero

This has absolutely nothing to do with the location, but I had to choose one to make a review. So…read morethis is where I was booked. I tried to cancel my appointment, but the really awful website you use for appointment management did not actually cancel the appointment. So I ended up actually having to call and wait on hold to cancel. The web app you use is the worst I have ever seen. I'm speaking as a Software quality assurance analyst. I test software for a living. You should find a new one that is actually user friendly.

Found the 2nd floor business access door... little hard to pick out from the businesses, but, to the right of the ROGERS store, there are stairs, but elevator as well. Did not appear this elevator serviced the Parkade. Kinda not great to have to park underground (yay!) then pop up and still have to bolt across the lot in -30C but... your car is warm! Once up the elevator, exit left and turn left again to walk down the long hall to the lab, on your left. No one was waiting in the stanchions, but there is no other way to approach the desk... or leave (? That was odd) There is a couple of waiting areas, and reception was swift. My test would take 30 minutes between parts, so they gave me a timer. Staff were efficient and I was on my way in no time.

Unfortunately the blood test itself required that I be poked on both my arms as it didn't go as seamlessly as usual, but otherwise this was a great visit. I'll definitely consider this location anew if I need bloodwork or other tests that they offer. There is ample parking and it is reasonably convenient to access via transit as well.

Yes, I used to go to the closest lab to my doctor's office (anywhere in the Southside) but now I always go here. 2) The staff is personable and efficient. One of the biggest reasons why I go here is they never hurt me when poking me with a needle and never really look like they hate their job. This is important to me because I have a huge fear of needles and I'm always so scared and anxious getting my blood drawn, but they make me feel comfortable. The wait sometimes sucks, depending on what day and around what time of the day you come, even if you make an appointment. My last appointment was last Friday and I waited around 10-15mins over my appointed time. I didn't mind, the woman who was doing my work was pleasant. But just something to keep in mind.

I made an appointment and showed up 5 minutes before the alloted time on a Friday morning. It was standing room (many walk-ins) only, yet it seemed a smooth operation. I was in and out in just over a half hour. I went back the following day (Saturday) 15 minutes before closing time to turn in the FIT test vial, and to provide the requisition for a specialized Vitamin D test I had failed to notice (and bring in) the day before, so a second (different but also nice) nurse took my blood this time. Her technique was a bit different and the needle she used appeared thicker and longer than one used by nurse the day before. This time the waiting area was empty and I was out the door in less than 10 minutes.
