Went in on a Thursday afternoon looking fo catnip plant. As soon as I entered, I was greeted by a…read morefriendly staff that ask me what I'm looking for today. I told her my need and she points out where I can find it. When I took the plant to the cashier, the cashier asked me what I plan to use it for and whether it's for a cat. I answered, yes. Then she went on telling me how some of her cat likes it dry and some of it like it the way it is. Since it was my first time using catnip for the cat I ask whether she knows at what age is suitable to feed it and how much to water, how often, and how to harvest . She was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. It's been almost two weeks and the catnip is healthy and growing very well. Can't wait to come here again for my next plant.

I would so much rather give my business to a kind and gentle man like Federico, who takes tender and fatherly care of the plants in his charge, and has fair prices unlike the giant nurseries with huge overheads. Got a mature climbing fuschia (at least 4-5 ft tall) and a 5 gal sage for just $40. I saw later that it's cash only, so we lucked out there. Unfortunately, my Spanish isn't very good, so if you speak it, you'll be golden in terms of asking more specific questions. The young woman working was super helpful. Please buy from this place so it sticks around! It's a fantastic alternative to Home Depot and even the larger nearby nurseries like the one in San Gabriel.
