I was treated like a deadbeat with a zero credit score. (It is actually over 800.) To begin, I was told the diagnosis would cost $199 but would be applied toward the bill if they did the job, which I intended to have them do. They guy came out, looked at my system for about 30 seconds, and told me I had a leaking irrigation valve (which was already obvious to me). He said the system was old and there were other valves ready to fail as well. We agreed that I should just replace them all. I asked for an estimate and he told me he would have one either by phone or email by the end of the day. There was no request for payment so I assumed we would just roll it into the bill for the job. Two days later, I called to ask about the estimate. A lady said they guy was too busy to write it up but she would email me one by the end of the day. Two days after that I sent an email asking about the estimate I still had not received. She said it would be around $1200. I said that I would accept that and to put me on the schedule and send a written version of the estimate. That is when they seemed to get defensive. They said I would need to pay them 50% of the estimate (which I still did not have in writing) before they would even put me on the schedule. After this, and the lack of a timely response earlier, I was getting a little leary of their business. I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt, however this is not my first rodeo, I told her I would pay the 50% when they showed up to do the job. They did not reply at all after that except to send a bill for the estimate. Not only did they demand payment THAT DAY or face a 35% late fee, but they dated the bill FOUR DAYS prior! I'd had enough of this company by then. I drove a check for the "inspection" over to their "office" and hand delivered it. I would NEVER do business with people who treat customers like this. Good luck if you do. In the end, I think they just wanted a quick buck doing the "inspection" and never intended to do the work. Sad.

Have had others out to work on the system and there was a question as the health of the valves or electrical connections spending more time. But turned out they were just really dirty. Deposits were paid in September for an April start date, only to find out one day one of the project there would be delays because the required materials were not ordered. Oh by the way if they say you need 20 plants or 16 pavers and they only use 5 of each, they keep the rest. It's in the contract! Oh did I mention that if they stated you need 15 plants and you need 20 they will sell you the other 5 from inventory left over from other jobs! Yes, paid twice for the same plant! By the way, the plants they bring only have a warranty if you buy their installed sprinkler system for an additional cost. On and on and on it went! I got on the telephone and called a dozen well service technician outfits. From all the other…read morepeople I talked to they gave me estimates of $4,000 to change all the above ground plumbing and rewire the well. Of course being an automobile mechanic since the age of 16 I can do all that by myself and I had already fixed everything above ground. Other people told me 8k to 12k to rebuild my well. I begged with them and pleaded with them and ask them if they could just change the pump for $3,000 and they said absolutely not. Moerke & Sons help me with by answering all my questions and explaining to me what todo. I was tempted to haul the pump up myself but since I have never done it before I asked them to do it for me. They came out at 8:30 a.m. and pulled the pump motor up the 120 ft shaft casing by hand installed a new well pump motor and a new control box in less than 2 hours. Thank God are good honest no nonsense no bologna not a crook good people.

They did a full diagnostic of our system from the well to filter system and more. The issue was our filtration system, which had failed.
