She learned 5 new songs and even surprised us with learning a new instrument which she also demonstrated in the final performance. The kids are very nice and really do a great job working together. We love the inclusive and supportive environment they've created. We've had several friends recommend School of Rock to us and we now understand why they are all such big fans. I am so disappointed in this studio. We had to leave around 15 minutes in due to everyone just talking and not receiving clear instructions. The instructor herself was yawning, sitting down, and not really teaching. I felt as if we weren't even meant to be there. Not to mention, the reformers were extremely old and lowkey disgusting. They seem focused only on activities that benefit the school's ratings or attendance, yet they don't even hold a commencement or recognition ceremony for students moving on to high school. When you raise concerns, they often deflect blame onto CCSD, even though many other middle schools in the district do hold ceremonies to honor their students and celebrate their achievements. Just disorganized and poor leadership! Additionally, if your child has any absences, the school may escalate by contacting the school police to your home for missing absence notes, rather than simply reaching out to discuss the situation directly. Overall, this has been a very disappointing experience. I wish I had known more before enrolling my child here.

Do be aware that the mazes are not really recommended for children, and one of the mazes is rated R (not for the faint of heart, and was our favorite). We were blown away with the creativity and scares that Freakling Bros provided! You can really tell that these guys thoroughly enjoy what they do and put time and care into their mazes. The scare actors really put in their all and it doesn't feel cheesy or scripted. We definitely have added Freakling Bros to our list for our yearly October Bash!
