This is by far the best Halloween experience in NV! My wife and I are avid horror fans and moved to NV from SoCal. We are use to endless events and things to do for the month of October in SoCal, so when we moved to NV we were a bit lost for spooky time. We tried out all the popular events that locals recommended and while all those experiences were decent, none were even a match for Freakling Bros! It may seem small, only 3 mazes, but each one is so interactive and creative! It is definitely worth the price! The owner walks around and engages with guests. We were eating at the food truck that they rented for the night, and the owner walked over and asked to sit with us. We enjoyed our conversation with Duke and let him know how amazed we were, and turns out we were all from the same hometown! Do be aware that the mazes are not really recommended for children, and one of the mazes is rated R (not for the faint of heart, and was our favorite). We were blown away with the creativity and scares that Freakling Bros provided! You can really tell that these guys thoroughly enjoy what they do and put time and care into their mazes. The scare actors really put in their all and it doesn't feel cheesy or scripted. We definitely have added Freakling Bros to our list for our yearly October Bash! Went here last night with two 17 year-olds, my son and his best friend. We got there before 7PM and we were the first ones in line, so almost no wait time to enter all three haunted houses. The staff was very professional and friendly and we had a scary good time! Beware one of the houses requires you to get on your knees to crawl through a dark damp area and there is vulgar language, along with one of the performers that shocks you with her long fingernail claws, which I felt uncomfortable with, but it didn't leave any marks. Photos are $30 each, so we passed while we took our own pictures for the night. Great overall value and loads of fun! read more

The first time I went to the Freakling Bros Horror was probably 2013 and I thought it was Incredible. Fast forward to 2024 and unfortunately the quality of it has gone down, along with the actors and actresses in the haunted houses. I understand playing the part, but there were moments where some actors were being incredibly disrespectful. The cherry on top was the man who pulled out his fake wiener and pretended to pee on us. I actually felt violated and didn't find it amusing at all. At the end of the haunted house there was a woman who had long nails that shocked you every time she touched you. My bf claims she attempted to reach for his private area with her nails and made him feel uncomfortable. My other friend ran out and had an anxiety attack after the woman kept shocking her over and over again ( maybe 5-6 times in a matter of 2 mins?) I think that was a bit much on her part. Hopefully they will work on improving everything in the future. I am always looking for great haunted houses in Vegas. read more

THE BEST IN VEGAS!!! Not only are there 3 haunted houses , FOOD AND DRINKS !!!! But as we entered we were able to get some really good family pictures to take home , and as we walked in there are weird creepy creatures crawling everywhere But my kids loved every bit of it, it was so interactive but the staff there was nothing but great from the ticket booth all the way to the end of your stay there. I'm not typically a big haunted house fan, but decided to check these ones out recently. For $60, you get access to all 3 houses and the sorcerer. We decided to skip the Gates of Hell as we weren't okay with them touching us or the rumored abuse that goes on there. They have a couple of actors walking around and engaging as you're waiting in line but, surprisingly, I think there were only 2-3 on a busy Friday night. We started out with Castle Vampyre. I thought it was alright, but mostly just predictable jump scares and I thought it was a little cheesy. None of this stopped me from screaming or holding on to my friend, but overall it was only alright and read like a typical temporary haunted house. We did Coven next. I loved this one - I won't spoil anything but it's so much more interactive and has so many more unique elements. I thought it was scary in the moment, but not in the way that you have nightmares later or anything. The main reason I only give this 3 stars is logistics! We opted to purchase our tickets online ahead of time, which proved to be a huge waste of time because everyone still has to wait in the same ticketing line. We got there around 7:30 and I believe we waited in the security and then ticket line for about 30-40 minutes. It would be smart to add a second line for people that only need to get their wristbands. Also, they offer a fast pass for, I believe, $10 and it comes with a t-shirt. Earlier in the night the lines weren't as long, so we didn't mind waiting, but later on, it seemed like the regular lines moved incredibly slowly because there were so many people in the fast pass line that got to go first. I wish they would put a cap on how many of these they sell each night to keep the lines moving. Our tickets came with 3 houses and I would have loved to do Coven again, but we had already been there from 7:30 to about 11 and that line would have taken at least another hour to get through. Once you're in line, it's really difficult to get out and back in without crowding past a bunch of people so you're kind of stuck if you need to use the bathroom or grab a drink. They have a bar and a food truck on site as well. Overall, this is a fun night out, but they have some major logistical errors they should work through to improve the experience for those that try to plan ahead. read more

My friend and I went last weekend and it was so much fun! The vampire house was so good! The coven one was really good also but I did get sprayed with water lol... it wasn't a light spray either so be prepared to get wet. The gates of hell requires you sign a separate waiver due to the actors ability to touch you and the overall scare level. Honestly this set up was the best haunted houses I've ever been to. That says a lot considering I love Halloween and have been to a ton all throughout Northern California. I was genuinely scared and had no idea when the next scare would happen and everything was pretty unique and unexpected. I will definitely make this a part of every Halloween moving forward. Two of the three houses were a lot of fun. I'll get to the important stuff right away. A group of us all had the same opinion of the "R" rated 666 house. We all said the same thing afterwards. There's one room early on. It's a dingy bathroom. When you enter a black man is standing there acting like he's peeing. He tells everyone to put their hands on the wall. He then only target the females by getting all up on them from behind and whispering into each one's ear so only they heard him. He was asking things like have they ever been with a black man before, and talking about other sexual acts. He then tells everyone to turn around and asks if we've ever seen a black cock before while waving a fake cock around that's squirting water. None of us felt like this was anything we "signed" up for after we left the house. We all pushed through, but felt dirty after that room. Maybe this is what they want, but let's be honest. I'm sure some sexually assaulted victims looking for a scary night out will have some horrific ptsd drummed up from this pathetic room. Do better Freakling Bros. So this was an interesting experience. I did like the scares, a few smart choices here, but it was so improperly lit ( could not see the uneven ground) that I could not enjoy all of the attractions and I spent most of my time trying to keep my footing. Which is not scary. I was touched on my chest (electrocuted) -Satan house as well as *vomited (fake clear vomit) - in the witch house, so I'd definitely wear something you don't really care about. It is cash only, they sell some great snacks and you do have to sign a waiver of liability before entering (a 2nd one that takes your picture to go into the Satan house.) I would not recommend for children as their website indicates, and this is not wheelchair accessible. Definitely worth seeing! read more

Upfront I gotta say that I'm not wild about haunted mazes but, it turned out to be better than I expected. I'm always up for a good time so when friends invited me to come out to this Halloween event, I thought I'd make the most of it. Set up in an empty corner of the huge shopping plaza off Flamingo and the 215, is The Trilogy of Terror - trilogy because there are three themes mazes. You have the option of getting individual maze tickets or save a few bucks and get all three. Of course, we got all three (39 bucks per person). By the way, parking is free but mind there will be others conducting in some tailgating (parking lot drinking). In short, these mazes produce quite the scare by throwing you in total darkness with startling loud sounds. Pretty impressive considering these mazes rolled into town on a collection of trailers. In long, there are three mazes, one more progressively scarier than the next, starting off with the "Castle Vampyre" then the "Coven of 13." It ends with the "Gates of Hell" - this one is stepped up a little bit and you know this by the waiver you must sign as you stand in line. It advises anyone with medical conditions (epileptics, claustrophobics, heart conditions, etc), anyone not willing to be touched, or not willing to go through special effects (static shock, vulgar language, sprayed by water, etc), should not enter. It's also in Gates, that they offer a safe word; you shout the safe word ("purgatory") and they'll stop the production for your group to get be escorted out. One note on using the safe word: be prepared to be boo'ed or called "biiiiiiitch" by those waiting in line (you're informed by the guide whom advised you of the safe word, that using the safe word would make you a bitch). It was a good time, but I thought it was overpriced for pop-up show. It's as good as such a venue can be, but I've been spoiled by the giant theme parks in California, like Knott's Scary Farm, and tickets there are in the same $40-50 range. read more

GET YOUR SCARE ON! It doesn't matter how old you are (well there is a rated R house here), you can still have fun with friends at Haunted Houses. Eight work colleagues including myself, met up at the Freakling Bros haunted houses located at West Flamingo and the 215 freeway on a Wednesday and the lines were not long at all. We all decided to do all three houses which was a discounted rate of $39 instead of $47 individually. Coven was based on witches and I will leave it at that so you can experience the tingling, moist fun! Vampyre was a castle that had some dull points but cool none the less. Choose wisely when you come to the roped area and make sure to lean on the rail when you choose! Gates of Hell...lets start with you must sign a waiver before entering this Hell hole. Unique from the previous two houses as the actors will touch you whilst experiencing this dark, electrifying experience. Be prepared to overcome your claustrophobia! I thought I knew all their tricks but they got me with some new unexpected scares. Which is why I keep coming back. For fifty buck this is an all night entertainment event! Be realistic and prepared - Like any amusement venue there are lines, however that just gives you time to interact with the many horror characters rooming about, that may attack you at any give moment. Or you can go to the front of the line with a fast pass. It's $25 dollars extra, but you get a 30th anniversary commemorative T-shirt free with that, which would normally cost you $30 on it's own. Not a bad deal. This is the last year to catch Castle Vampyre as they will have a new house in its place for 2023. So catch it while you can. Soooo looking forward to see what they come up with next year. They've also added food carts, so you can get ghoulish goodies, and especially satanic drink potions, after you've screamed your throat raw. And check out the soothsayer, and her uncanny prediction on how you will die! Plus a framable commemorative photo on the way home, should you survive, to remember the most horror filled night of your year. BUT BEWARE! Save the GATES OF HELL FOR LAST!!! This is an R-RATED ADULT THEMED HAUNT. Children under 17 will not be admitted without an adult. This is a serious scare for the grown up, and not for the faint of heart. What service? I waited 2 hours in line with everybody who paid for tickets online and people who haven't paid for their ticket. They should have created separate lines. Additionally, if you want to spend and extra $25 (IN CASH) to get a shirt and fast pass. You can get into shorter lines... Although they say. Although they have three horror houses. There was long line for both "General Admission Lines" and "Fast Pass Lines." + DRINK(s)//FOOD(s)//SHOW(s) [Rating 0/5]: There was one hot dog stand and bar. Even the hot dog stand had a ridiculous long time and they were extremely slow. It took my friend 45+ minutes to get 4 fries that cost $8 each. Might I also mention, CASH ONLY. + OVERALL [Rating 0/5]: If I could give a 0/5 star. I would! This is by far the most horrible and experience. I have been visiting the Freakling Brothers Haunted houses since 2013. It's a tradition I like to do with my family! (Parking) The parking wasn't too bad, it does however share the same parking lot as the seasonal pumpkin patch so when we had gone the lot was pretty busy. But we came early enough (7pm when they opened) that we were able to find a decent parking spot. Pricing) Something I did truly enjoy when we had FIRST begun coming to these shows was the PRICE. I felt it was a good value and you definitely got your money's worth. I remembered when the prices ranged from $10-15 PER haunted house. Or $30 for all 3. Amazing price, couldn't be beat. However this year they had made it $50 per person as a night pass and you were free to go to all 3. For an extra $25 you could get vip to go into a "shorter" line (Lines) We came during Halloween weekend so the line to even enter the event was wrapped all the way around the fence which was to be expected. No complaints there. Once we were in, There were separate lines for those that bought online and those buying on site (which it is CASH ONLY, though there were ATM's available) We were in a group of 6, be aware that for Coven of 13 you can only go in at most groups of 5. The wait was about 1 hour (mind you we were one of the first people that had gotten here but still had waited a while) next we had gone to Castle Vampyre. And had waited about 2 hours to get in. By this time it was almost 11:00. I was a little hesitant to come this year considering we knew that were not interested in going into Gates of Hell (Rated R). But would still have to pay the price for all 3, and definitely felt like I would not be getting my money's worth but decided to go since it's been a tradition of ours. Overall it was okay. I felt it wasn't as great as it once was. The actors were just mediocre I have vivid and great memories of the actors truly staying in character and trying to play the part as best they could but this year it felt as though they were all just there, in costumes, pretending to play the part but not at all succeeding, just trying too hard and not at all enjoying being there. Will definitely continue to come back if they bring back the price and option of just paying for one haunted house rather than paying to go all 3 when really no one has the time to spend 4+ hours waiting to go into all 3! And also have a better structure as far as their lines go, At entrance to get in, and at each house with zippering through VIP and standard lines. read more

WOW WOW WOW! I can honestly say I've never been so terrified in my LIFE! If you're looking for a total adrenaline rush while getting Grade A entertainment.. you HAVE to come here! These guys are located right in the IKEA parking lot and they have not one, not two but THREE different haunting experiences that will absolutely scare the bajeebers out of you! I truly think I peed a bit on the "Gate to Hell" (I think that's what it's called.. the center one. Save this one for last as it's AMAZING! If you're looking for a true Halloween/Fright experience here in Las Vegas - you absolutely need to go visit this place. The staff was great, the costumes and characters were out of this world and oh my GOD the entertainment and haunting houses were something like I've never experienced! You can tell everyone here is passionate about what they do. Some true creeps man! We even got to get our "tarot cards read" and I couldn't believe how accurate the readings were.. and I typically don't believe in that stuff! It was EERY! This is worth every penny. They go above and beyond to ensure you get a true valuable frightening experience (you literally pay them to make you piss yourself and it's AMAZING!) Scared the crap out of me but there were a few things they could work on. #1: You have to sign a contract after you get through security. This process just to sign the contract was long and not very well organized. There weren't distinct lines or any guidance. It was every man for themselves... This took a while to go through so that wasn't very fun or efficient. Then they made you take a picture in front of everyone waiting in line, which was awkward. They should've just sent an email or did it online prior to attendees coming. I loved that they had three haunted houses to check out once you got in. This past year they had a Covenant looking house, a Gates of Hell House, and a Vampire themed house. A little boy got lost in the Vampire House so they had to close that one down while the staff looked for him. I was able to go into the Covenant House which was pretty good (had to crawl towards the end) and was one of the better haunted houses I've been in. But it took us 2 HOURS waiting in line until we finally were able to go in. They do groups of at least 5. We made good friends with the people in line (plus we hit the bar and took two overpriced shots along with a tiny ass bottle of spicy margarita) so we didn't mind the wait as much as we would have. The bartender was cool and friendly but the drinks were pricy. The Gates of Hell haunted house was the best one or so we heard. You had to be 18+ to get into that one. We stood in line for maybe an hour before we had to leave so we sadly only got to go through 1 out of the 3 haunted houses, which sucked, but we still had a good night and made some good friends. The last thing that kind of bugged me was the people in line were immature af. One of the scary staff members was just doing her job when someone in the crowd threw a bottle at her. Security came after but by then they couldn't tell who threw the bottle. I think little kids who don't know how to act should be with a parent or family member 18+ to avoid shit like that from happening. I felt bad for the girl. I would have given this experience 5 stars if it weren't for a couple things. I have been to Knotts Scary Farm, Universal Horror Nights, Frightdome, and various other haunted houses. This was the best! Without giving too much away, they definitely avoid stereotypical scares. Instead, they play with expectations and utilize phobias and fears to their advantage. And lots of impressive technical complexity! We only had time for the Coven of 13, but it truly had us screaming! There were a couple logistical things I didn't appreciate, however. I didn't like being forced to sign a waiver at the beginning when we weren't even doing the rated R haunt. To me, that's a ploy to just get emails. It didn't even verify if the emails were real or not. Then they forced us to take photos when we had waited long enough claiming it was for security, but clearly it was for posing and purchasing later. I shouldn't be forced to take a photo if I don't want to. I saw several people entering via exit, and they were able to avoid both waiver and photo op. I particularly don't like being lied to about photos being for "security." Esp considering it's my security that's at stake since now there are photos I didn't want taken of me floating around in their system somewhere. In addition, as we exited, the guy hassled us to look at the photos. We said no, and he kept shouting after us to look even when were a distance away. I have been going to haunted houses from home haunts, Jaycee haunts, traveling fair haunts, church hell houses, independent haunts, pro haunts, theme park haunts and everything else in between. I have worked off and on as a scareactor in a theme park haunt since 2001. I flew from Florida with this being one of the specific things I planned to do. So, I guess you can say I kind of enjoy this type of thing. Anyways enough about me. I first was dropped off in my Uber. A friendly security guard wanded me to make sure I was not bringing anything dangerous in. Next signed the first of two forms for the night. It is emailed to you also if want to read over all the do's and don'ts. But, it is best to know what you are going to be doing first. Then walking into the area. First part is that you stand in front of a green screen with you and your party. Three 3 different photos are done for later viewing. (I skipped the viewing, but saw a lot of pleased people with it) Directly to the left was a ticket trailer. You can purchase 1 house or a 3 house ticket. I did notice if you get on their email list and follow their social media sometimes they have promotions. There was also separate table that sold fast passes for the event. A real steal at 15.00 ( good for the entire season and you get a tshirt with it. I did wish the shirt came in larger sizes but that's just a personal preference). Also in the center area was a BBQ vendor that was selling food that smelled delicious.( I already had a big steak dinner prior to coming or would have tried it.) Each of the 3 houses/mazes are in a system of trailers. This lead to some interesting designs and effects inside each. On the outside of each was 2 different points with actors. The first took your ticket and told you some rules. The 2nd on the top of the stairs/entrance explained more rules. The groups that entered at the same time seemed to a maximum party of 6. I thought it was great that party size was in smaller groups. (This is often referred to as pulsing the line. A non stop line (which definitely exists with some theme park haunts) is a conga line.) Castle Vampyre was the first haunt that I did. I would rank this at the least scariest. But with some really great illusions and effects. Coven of 13 was 2nd haunt I did. I would rank it at the 2nd scariest. Some great scenes and effects. This is the house that makes you crawl on your hands and knees. (Yes, its wet and fluids drip on you) Gates of Hell was the 3rd house I did. The rated R house. The house were you have to sign a release form. Yes, you get verbally abused. Yes, they touch you. Yes, I was shocked. Yes, I enjoyed it. Yes, I did again right away. No, I did not say the safe word. Both times through I did hear it used by others I was paired with. If you can not handle the house at any point. Use it. I am leaving out all the details of scenes of what happened inside. I think it needs to be done by yourself. I myself am already planning to do it again next year. The short version. 3 houses/mazes in trailers. It is a gravel area that you will be waiting in. You can buy 1 or all 3 house tickets.
