But after reading some of the reviews for New Life Landscape Services, we decided to touch base with them. Danny showed up on time for the initial meeting and listened to our needs and wants. He made some outstanding suggestions for our shrubbery beds, and we decided to move forward and schedule the project. I'm really glad that we trusted Danny. He and his staff showed up on time, and they were already working on the yard when I rolled out of bed. The plants that he selected were beautiful. He even gave us a credit when there were a few shrubs left over. The entire project was completed in just half a day. He even created a nice flower bed next to the front door with some perennials. My wife and I were so thrilled and satisfied that we (a) also decided to use New Life for our weekly lawn maintenance... and (b) we will be contacting them later in the year for our back yard project. Elmar was the first to come out, that same day as I posted my request, he seemed very knowledgeable and fair so I agreed to go with him. He and his crew was able to do the job today, just four days after my request. I could not be happier with the job they did. Every branch on the mahogany and oak trees were roped off, cut and lowered to the ground. This procedure is time consuming but very important to me as I have a fully landscaped backyard and didn't want any of it damaged. After everything was trimmed, it was all cleaned up by the crew and put in the tree shredder. All loose debris was picked up or blown clean. I highly recommend Elmar and his crew!!

Brent Came over to mow my lawn because my lawnmower broke down 2.5 weeks ago. My lawn was about 11"…read morein length. When he was mowing he mowed over two firecracker bushes we had planted in front of our pool equipment. I spoke to him about it right when it happened and because the lawn was growing around them and they were not large and blended in I didn't think it was that big of a deal as I know they would grow back. He continued to mow the lawn and I thought he would be conscious of plantings in the yard. After he left I discovered he had also mowed down two of our passion fruit vines along the fence line that were attached to lattice on the fence. I sent in a dispute through the website which the website asks you to do if there was a problem and the photos and complaint would be sent to him for resolution. I uploaded the photos and had not even provided an overall review yet on the site about his service. I was just wanting to have the issue resolved about the passion vines and was not happy they were mowed down and he had left before I looked at the job and did not have his phone number. He called me and as soon as he began talking to me he was asking in a very raised voice why I was trying to ruin his business, was accusatory against me like I would never pay him, and he just spent two hours mowing my lawn. He was being very accusatory against me the whole time like it was my fault this happened to my bushes and how could I do this to him and his business. I was only trying to work out an issue via the website how they have it set up because there was a problem with the mowing job and explain that he mowed over the plants. I even told him I was happy with the mow itself, but we need to resolve the issue with the bushes. He kept raising his voice at me claiming he was not yelling, telling me to listen to him, and I did not feel he was listening to me or my concerns. He mowed my plants down, raised his voice at me, accused me of trying to ruin his business, and was acting like this issue was my fault and not his. All I wanted was for him to address the plants he mowed down and I couldn't even get him to do that. He was also making comments like I never took care of my property which is not the case. Our property is not overgrown and is well maintained. We just needed someone to mow because our mower was being repaired and it would not be back for a little over a month. I would think that if it is the first time to a property someone mowing the lawn would take a little greater care of the plantings or if the owner is there at least asking what to watch out for. In this case I was accused of causing all the problems. This was the worst experience I have had in years with someone who has done contracted services for me. He took a situation that could have been easily resolved politely and turned it into an accusatory argument against the client because I put in a complaint through the website.
