Just brought in my previous registration and current insurance in Florida and they took care of the rest. Could I have probably paid half of this to do it my self? I was actively involved with Arc Broward from the mid 1980's until 2002 when I moved to NYC. This agency is the largest Broward organization (as far as I know) that serves people with disabilities. The scope of their services is broad including residential, adult daycare and preschool programs, job training and placement, family counseling and on and on. One of my friends just retired after working here for years. I've got an autistic friend that still receives services and has made progress. I remember my time being active with various activities. Although they were not a top favorite nonprofit of mine there's no doubt about the enormous impact of their services for the people with disabilities in Broward County. So I went to a horrible nursing school (not naming the name) and somehow graduated in 2019 by the grace of God. Thankfully my mom has known the owner of Brightmed Health Institute for years and recently reconnected with one of them. They have been so helpful in preparing me for the SCARY NCLEX EXAM. I'm able to use their library to study and also go to the NCLEX Reviews they provide. This school really sets a great foundation for their students so they have the right content to pass the state board. If I knew about this school sooner I would've made this my first choice! I definitely recommend this school. They have the LPN, RN programs and more. Do not hesitate if you are interested in nursing.
