We originally contacted them early on in our planning, and gave them the information we thought we'd have regarding our event. Golda and Rick were amazing to work with. As our plans evolved we had to call them to change some of the details at least 3x, and every time they understood and were willing to work with us and our needs. The driver that was assigned to our event was very professional and understanding when, despite our best efforts, everything didn't go off as planned. I used Act II this past holiday season to travel to Midway. The company was professional and reasonably priced (my only beef is the prices on the website needs to be updated to reflect tax - for instance, round trip is billed as $90 with the verbiage tax and fuel surcharge added - well that "surcharge" is close to 40 bucks, why not quote the full price on the website?) Dispatch and the drivers were all friendly and prompt. If I had to nitpick, my trip back from Midway was annoying due to another passenger who would not STFU. Seriously this dude talked loudly non stop. He was elderly so I cut him some slack, but damn - I wanted to stab myself in the eye it was so annoying. I wanted the driver to do something about it, not sure what she could have done about it, but seriously this guy talked nonstop the whole trip (and the breathe was terrible, gag inducing) read more

On one of their Chicago shuttles right now that keeps breaking down in the side of the road with no working AC. Then on top of that, the bus is dirty and the ventilation system is leaking fluid on passengers. read more

We worked with Rick Lawson and his team of outstanding drivers for our June 2017 wedding, and cannot speak more highly of the service they provided. We started planning our wedding nearly a year in advance, and established a reservation with Act II last summer, after many successful trips with the company over the years between Chicago O'Hare and the Quad Cities. Though our venue and event timing changed a couple of times over the course of the year, Rick was always accommodating and provided clear documentation (i.e., service proposals and contracts) outlining the specifics of our reservations. We ended up utilizing a 29-passenger shuttle and a 14-passenger shuttle, with pick-ups at two Quad Cities hotels, and drop-offs at the venue for the ceremony in the early evening. The shuttles came back later in the evening to carry out 3-4 return trips to the hotels from the venue. The drivers, Larry and John, were highly professional throughout their service. They arrived promptly for all pick-ups and drop-offs, and were gracious in their interactions with guests and members of the wedding party. The shuttles were clean and in good condition. All of the trips were made in reasonable time and the drivers offered our wedding coordinator and me their phone numbers in case we needed to reach them during the evening. All in all, we were thrilled with Act II's work and the quality of service. We will absolutely be using them again for future transportation needs. Thank you, Rick! read more

We used Act II to take a bridal party from a hotel to the venue, was very dissatisfied. Booked and paid in advance for an hour but only received 30 minutes. Driver dropped party off at the wrong entrance. Called to complain and all they said was to look at confirmation. When I said I did, they blew me off. Didn't apologize or offer any discount. read more

Very bad company to do business with ,driver dropped us off at wrong location going to O'Hare airport .Then on return trip limo broke down in Dekalb ,ended up waiting for another 3 hours for another car to pick us up. No calls from the company to apologize for the inconvenience ,till I called three days later and then had to wait another day for callback.The owner would not offer to discount either trip. Only if I booked a future trip and without a specified discount . Also both vehicles were older models. I would never do business with a company like this again! read more

We are very disappointed with Act II service. A group of 6 people returned from Alaska on September 1, 2018 and reserved Act II to pick us up from Chicago OHare at 8 pm. Due to weather issues in Chicago, United Airlines asked us to find an alternate route home to Quad Cities. We were able to book a flight to Cedar Rapids through Denver. We contacted Act II to see if we could switch from Chicago to Cedar Rapids thinking they would be glad since it was much shorter for them to drive. They stated it was considered a cancellation so we lost our prepaid $200+ and had to pay ANOTHER $200+ to get a ride from Cedar Rapids. They had us over a barrel since we needed a ride home. When we returned we contacted them to see if we could get reimbursed to no avail. Even United Airlines reimbursed us their additional cost. Nothing is wrong with the transportation itself. However I've never had a business representative treat me so incredibly poorly. The woman from the company that I had contact with was downright disrespectful, had no compassion nor understanding that it may not be as easy for foreigners to be in contact, and frustrated me to the point that I did cry when I got off the phone. I absolutely do NOT recommend this company. Unless of course you enjoy paying $90 per person to be harassed and treated like a disobedient dog. Additionally, one of my close friends using this service was also harassed by the same woman. Absolutely unprofessional, and unacceptable. read more

Was the worst ride I have ever been on in 51 years. The vehicles look new but ride awful and no AC
