The Acting Business Boot Camp weekend intensive is a great investment for an actor that is ready to take their career to the next level. Peter Pamela Rose is experienced and massively knowledgeable about the business of acting. She will provide tools and resources to help you build a brand, systematically pursue representation, organize yourself financially, manage emotional challenges, etc. She is also incredibly warm and generous and one of the best people you'll ever meet. After completing the ABBC weekend intensive, you become part of a family and come out of it with a support system that includes Peter and your fellow actors. The Acting Business Bootcamp is truly awesome, I cannot recommend it enough. It's really hard to know what to do in this business and really launch your career forward without just sitting around and waiting for something to happen. It's also hard to know where to spend your money with SO many acting teachers, and programs promising they're the best. Peter will give you the exact tools WHAT to do to launch your career forward to gain representation, book work, and what classes to take. Before I took her intensive I was floating around emailing my resume to a few agents and pretty much throwing mud at the wall and auditioning for a few student films here and there (no shade on student films, they just don't pay the bills). I took the intensive about two years ago and by implementing the tools she gave, I now freelance with over TEN commercial agents and I have theatrical representation. I took Peter Pamela Rose's weekend intensive a few years back and I am definitely reaping the benefits. Since taking the intensive I signed with my first legit agent and am currently freelancing with a commercial agent who frequently sends me out. I booked work with Disney and various regional theatres, a couple commercials, and started my own theatre company. Being a "graduate" with a couple years of my own experience under my belt, what really has kept my success going is being able to think like an agent or a casting director in terms of the business. I took PPR's weekend intensive when I first moved to Manhattan. Her class was SO beneficial to helping jumpstart immediate progress in my acting career. Moving to New York in general is stressful, but then having to figure out the next steps to take for my acting career??? I was feeling a little overwhelmed. Since I took the ABBC Weekend Intensive, I acquired both Commercial and Theatrical representation, booked a SAG Commercial, and wrote and produced my own short film. I learned how to overhaul my resume, build a website, and create a wonderful reel.
