The hour flew by as we did solo and group improv. Tavish is an excellent teacher. He started by talking about what improv is, and asked for input regularly from the class. I'm also glad that, despite not being able to teach in-person classes right now, Bird City Improv is continuing to teach classes on Zoom. Zoom actually is well-suited to this kind of class, because if you're in the large group everyone but the teacher can be muted, and if you're in a small group you can hear each other clearly. The level of the class I thought was appropriate for both beginners and people who have done improv before. As an actor, it's always good to brush up on this sort of skill and HAVE FUN, so thank you Bird City Improv for being there and including everyone!

I was walking my dog this morning when my dog jumped up onto the landing where their "Garden" is…read more An employee representing Eagle Physical Therapy jumped out from the door and started to yell at me and my dog saying he would kick and punch me over the dog being on the "garden" in front of their building. I, like anyone would, called my dog down from the landing. The employee then yells "DID YOU HEAR WHAT I SAID" and I said yes I did. He then proceeded to come close to me almost touching me and continued to threaten me with violence over this patch of grass. It lasted for so long that two other employees had to escort him back inside the building. I would suggest going somewhere else for your physical therapy as with the violent nature of Eagle Eye's employees, you may leave needing even more physical therapy. Scary place. Enjoy!

This 1 (wo)man play was highly entertaining and inspiring. It's a story of self-discovery at a time when racial tension & ignorance were at an all time high. We sat front and center but there is no bad seat in the house. Everyman Theatre has been delivering high quality performances over 30 seasons. They have a professional cadre of actors who perform on a regular basis throughout the season. Additionally, community access & engagement are also cornerstones of this theatre. Each play has "pay what you choose" tickets available so finances won't be a problem. Sad, I'm really late to the party. However, Go! Check out a play, take a class, become a sponsor, and donate!!! There is a box office for will call and small bar. The theater is smallish of course but intimate. We sat in the front and realized that it is "tight" up there with little leg room and you are looking right u at the actors on the stage. it was still nice, but for those looking for more room or space from the stage, make a note. We plan to return for the next play!
