All of the staff is amazing at Action. I came as a result of a MVA and they were super understanding. They have a very flexible schedule which is great for me having a flexible work schedule as well, meaning I was still able to get treatment while working. Each doctor has a different type of adjustment style so I recommend seeing each of them until you find one that works best with your body. However all are amazing! My massage therapist Joana is great, and made me feel comfortable as it was my first massage i have ever gotten. After over a year of treatment, my case is finally closed and I am very thankful to the staff here- office assistants included! I would give 10 stars if I could! I had an hour long massage with Michelle & she was fantastic! She really "heard" me when we reviewed my troubled areas-that was her focus during our session. It was the first time that I was given good instruction on how to manage my pain in between massages. She also gave me ideas on ways to improve my muscular health. The massages that I have had at Unravel mostly have been good which is why I'm giving three stars and not one. But, they have canceled three appointments one to two hours before the actual appt with no follow up but to just schedule another appointment a month out. Their unreliability is especially annoying after securing childcare and planning my whole day plus my family's day around the appt so that I could hopefully get some pain relief. This unreliability just isn't acceptable as a business and I will be going elsewhere from now on. read more

I love Dr. Brian Willyard he knows what he is doing. My pain decreases every time he manipulates my spine. I had a cervical sprain and strain in 04/04/2021. My doctor kept holding me off on doing chiropractor until he gave in on 06/15/2021 when I asked him I need a chiropractor. I started with pain 8/10 even with PT and Massage Therapy but when I started my Chiropractor with Dr. Brian Willyard my pain decreased to 5/10 after 2 sessions. I've never felt better and I'm able to lift more and do more thanks to Dr. Brian Willyard. A month and half of Chiropractor of 2 to 3x a week and my pain is now 1 to 2/10 depending on how strenuous my activities at work was. In addition, I also feel taller by 2 inches since the first time he manipulated my spine. I didn't know one of my legs was shorter than the other until Dr. Brian assessed me. Dr. Brian actually fixed my spine and now my legs are even in length. I recommended him to my other coworkers and friends. I will continue to see him even after my cervical sprain and strain heals. read more

The first time I walked in the door to this business I was injured at work. I was in so much pain. I've been coming to this chiropractor since 2014 I believe. I put all my trust into Dr. Brian and his staff. They are very professional and very welcoming. I still go and see Dr. Brian on a regular basis depending on my needs. Whatever my needs are they always know exactly what to do to get me on my way and feeling better. I highly recommend this chiropractor and their massage staff is amazing. Sometimes you have to wait for a specific person but it's so worth it. I'm pretty sure this will be a life long continuous thing for me. Besides I would miss everyone there. read more

I was a total "chiro-skeptic" until...the dreaded back injury a couple years ago. After trying everything with no success, I finally (after numerous recommendations from friends) tucked tail and hobbled in (literally and crookedly). I have been healed-and fixed on a couple occasions now. "Dr B" (Willyard) is the Man! I'm now a fairly regular patient (just when needed) over the last couple years, and skeptic no-more. Excellent massage therapists who clean up all my tweaked creaky muscles, great chiro docs who listen and carefully get me straightened up when I'm sore/crooked, and a shout-out to Ashley for her patience with scheduling and billing. I had a few adjustments done by Brian Willyard just before the Coronavirus Pandemic started. Although he was quite rough, I was in so much pain, I accepted this since it was convenient. After nearly three months and barely being able to move, I made an appointment for 5/29. When I arrived, I noticed the receptionist was not wearing a mask. I was wearing one and stood several feet away from her. I went to my assigned room and a male assistant came in, without a mask, and set me up for my adjustment. Before I knew it, Brian came in for my adjustment. He also was not wearing a mask. It all happened so fast. It was just as rough as before. I left, with my mask still on, and used my own hand sanitizer prior to getting into my car. I am just so disgusted for their disregard to public health and safety. Convenience is not worth my life or my families. I will never go back to such a slimy establishment. read more

The Dr is a little rough with his manual adjustments but the front office team is horrible. Depending on who is working affects the copay that you pay. They overcharge according to my insurance and you cannot get a straight answer because none of them know how billing or insurance works. They'll lie about who is the manager or when they work. Adjustments were quite hard, rough and painful! I've been to 3 other chiropractors and thankfully none of them were like that. Not only was there no relief from my original neck pain, but somehow the adjustments produced a problem with my sciatic nerve which I had not had issues with since I was pregnant 15 years ago. read more

Very disappointed in the treatment I received on the phone from Ashley at the front office. Talking to me on the phone like I am some kind of idiot regarding my insurance coverage, in addition to providing incorrect information about my coverage. She was so rude and unprofessional telling me I needed to pay for services up front and try to collect on my own from my insurance company. My husband receives chiropractic services here over the last few years, and he has been satisfied with the care, but we will go elsewhere in the future. read more

Dr Brian and all the folks at Action Chiropractic are friendly, welcoming people. I was referred by a friend several years ago when I moved from Queen Anne in Seattle over here to Port Orchard, and they have been great. I love that I can pop in for an adjustment without making an appointment! Sometimes my neck goes out, and nice to know they have 6 rooms, and 3 doctors so there is always someone available. I like to get an adjustment every 4 weeks or so, and they send me a text reminder, which is really nice. Easy access right off a main rd, lots of free parking, great place! read more

Dr. Brian is by far the best Chiropractor I have been to. After my adjustments, I instantly feel better, I can immediately feel the built up pressure release, and they are great about getting you in not only the same day--but in emergency situations they will take you in right away. To those who use the quote "don't got to a chiropractor, because once you do, you'll have to go for life". Wouldn't that apply to your primary care as well? You can go to chiropractor for an accute issue and once that is resolved discontinue care (although like your primary care there may be times your return). I started chiropractic many years ago and found it effective in ways standard western medicine was not. I continue to do maintenance care because it is less expensive (and painful) than responding to acute pain. I believe I have seen all the dr's here and some I like more than others. I have seen multiple chiropractors over the last 25 years and have even seen students at a chiropractic school. The hours at this clinic are awesome, the massage therapist availabilty is awesome. Created an account, because I felt an obligation to anyone who's thinking about trying this place. There are some things you should know: 1. While at first, they were friendly and sounded very (overly) confident, after a few visits, and after I declined signing a contract of treatment with them, they were a lot less thorough and caring, suddenly. Hmm, gotta wonder? I had a very hard time getting any answers from them. Never trust a "doctor" who is afraid of questions. Especially, never trust a care provider who tries to convince you that you have more issues than the ones you came in to address. 2. Chiropractor doesn't tell you what he's doing during "adjustments." Just claimed that if I continued to come for frequent treatments for 6+ months, they could "fix" me (straighten my spine.) 3. I didn't feel safe under the "care" of these guys. I was actually INJURED by the main guy there. He said one of my legs was longer than the other, so in an attempt to "adjust" my leg, he actually pulled my foot away from my ankle, stretching and injuring the ligaments in my ankle. Another time my neck hurt like a nerve was being pinched after he adjusted it. Got it fixed by the other guy the next visit and then NEVER returned. 4. They don't like too many questions here. I had to demand answers, and even then, I only got minimal responses. When I confronted them about my ankle injury, they didn't even comment. Just "oh." and one guy even offered "if the pain doesn't go away, we could see about adjusting some of the bones in the foot." Uhhhh, NO THANK YOU! 5. You can receive "copies" of your x-rays on a disc. However, they will be very blurry, low quality images, as they only do film x-rays. Just FYI- because it will be useless to send them elsewhere (such as your regular doctor or specialist) because the digital version is unusable and the film version is bulky (and can't be digitalized without losing significant resolution!) In conclusion, don't go there. I don't hate all chiropractors. I recognize that some are great, and depending on your situation, it can help you. But when they think they know better than doctors, and are quick to "diagnose" and offer expensive [CONTRACTUAL] treatment, you'd better watch out. That's a big red flag. PLEASE do some research about the limitations of chiropractic. They MUST be able to realize their own limitations and when they should refer you to a qualified doc. Not everything is caused my "misalignment" and not all can be treated through "adjustment." In fact, some health conditions can be made worse. See your local PCP for advice, and if necessary get referred to an medical specialist who knows their stuff. Ideally, get more than one opinion by qualified doctors, and DO NOT trust a doctor who balks at questions. They should be more than willing to discuss the details of your treatment with you. read more

Had one all written up and when I logged in to post it, it disappeared, so all Im going to say is...I gave this company 11 months of my time and money even though ths last 8 months I could not go regularly. Until I was lied to and they committed fraud against my insurance company and myself and refused to fix it. Now they can deal with my insurance's fraud department and should I devide to file a suit they can figure that out too. They said they took my insurance until I got there and the gal who was supposed do do my massage "didn't take my insurance" but of course.... I could still be seen for the non insurance price...... Now answer me this.... When I called to make the appointment and they asked if I would be using insurance..... Don't you think a good follow up question would be "what kind?". And then they would pair you with the therapist that takes your insurance?????? Seems logical to me..... I waited 2 days to be seen so that way I could bill my insurance. And then.... As a patient of this facility, I must say that I have rarely encountered a staff of such rudeness and unprofessional attitudes. Ashley, whom works with patient accounts and has been employed by Dr. Brian at action chiropractic for the last 8 years...was the most difficult person and rude person that I have ever dealt with when attempting to pay a medical bill. Beware if you have any questions or concerns regarding your bill at this facility...not only will Ashley threaten to hang up on you (and then lie about it) but she will threaten to not provide your private medical records to other physicians. I really do not understand how Dr. Brian could employ such rude staff and continue to practice business. Also, being a woman who has struggled with severe mental illness since the age of 13...I find it repulsive that with the knowledge of my disabilities the entire staff, including Dr. Brian, has never taken into account that I do not have the mental capacity to fully understand some times. It is in my opinion that the entire staff, including Dr, Brian, should pursue some sensitivity training to be better able to properly handle disabled individuals such as myself. I have encountered lots of discrimination through out my life...but when trained medical professionals and their staff treat me with such discrimination I begin to lose hope that I can ever receive medical help. The entire experience for me at this facility was horrid. I do not recommend this facility if you have disabilities. This facility is not properly trained to accommodate mentally disabled persons. read more
