I can't express enough how amazing their care, instruction and encouragement has meant to me. Rehab was as much mental as it was physical for me and i felt so safe with them. They asked questions every session to determine what would be best for me to keep moving forward and I always felt heard and motivated to do my best. Very kind, patient and clear with instructions and also modified if they saw I needed that. I will always look to them for any physical therapy needs in the future. The office environment is clean, organized and personable. Positive attitudes from all and when I rang the bell today, everyone in the office cheered which was so sweet. Oh wow, first review... Well, I highly recommend!…read more I have had four physical therapy appointments so far. I'm very pleased with the communication and instruction so far. Those are qualities I've never really experienced at PT prior. I am currently with the lead DPT, Lindsay Plikuhn and her assistant Sonja. I also have worked with a resident they currently have there, Kim. She has also been very attentive and hands on which has not previously been my experience with both a resident and a PT in general... I have chronic back pain and have been suffering for a long time. I will have a follow up review some day. I know I'll be in PT for a long time but I'm thankful I have a team that cares, is straight-forward, and is giving me useful information and tools for rehabilitation. And I also don't feel rushed with exercises and stretches. P.S. I have Medicaid and this Covington Satelitte location is in network.

She treated that first session as if it would be the first of many. She took a couple pages of notes, spent time really trying to diagnose what the issue is, and even sent me home with some great exercises and homework. I went to ATI fairwood has the next step in my sciatica rehab. I'd originally went to urgent Care…read morewhich ended up giving me stretches and exercises to help with the excruciating pain. Over the next 3 weeks I did more and more of the stretches and exercises and found that the excruciating pain was subsiding. I finally got in to see my general practitioner and he said the next step was to go to physical therapy. In going through my insurance provider they recommended ATI. A month ago I went to ATI fairwood. My initial consultation was very good as I believed my PT actually listened to what I had to say. Yes I had done my job to be able to relate what had happened and what I've been doing but it was great to see my PT listen to what I had to say and Incorporated it into my physical therapy routine. My coverage only provides once a month so it's been 30 days since I went to my first appointment. But I feel that since I was honest with my PT that allowed him to recommend the next stage of continued stretches and strengthening. At this stage is excruciating pain is gone. It wasn't easy I had to keep doing my stretches and exercises everyday. As I went in again today my feeling that my PT listen to me and Incorporated the information I gave him into my next stages which is more stretches and exercises for maintenance. He did a good job of explaining to me in different ways until I understood what was going on and why he had recommended the next course to help me not experience that pain again. I have to say that this was teamwork. I had to be honest with my PT and I had to be honest with myself. I used to think there was no way they'd know whether I did my stretches and exercises regularly. But it has physical examination he could tell that I was regularly doing my exercises and stretching. They weren't easy and I often questioned myself but each time I stayed the course as the second part of our work together. As I looked around the room during my two days of physical therapy it seemed like everybody had a dedication to their patients. I don't know whether the patients were doing as their PT advised, but I saw that everybody genuinely cared about their patients.

Apparently it's my miss understanding not their inability to communicate clearly! ‍. Apparently this is what happens when your allegiance is to corporate profits & not clients .I will not be going back to any ATI.
