Unless you want your child to constantly be sick, I wouldn't recommend sending them to Action Day Moorpark. In our experience, they frequently moved our child into different classrooms with different teachers and children. Because of this constant shifting, our 12-month-old was exposed to roughly 40 different kids a day, which led to him being perpetually ill. Furthermore, we experienced major issues regarding basic care in Rooms 5 and 7. We discovered our child wasn't receiving adequate water, and staff members admitted to us on multiple occasions that they skipped his lunch because he was too tired to eat. Additionally, diaper changes did not follow the facility's stated policy; according to our tracking, there were days our son went up to six hours without a change. We were paying a premium rate for care, yet felt his basic needs--water, food, and timely diaper changes--were not being met. We have since switched our son to Precious Moments Preschool, and it has been life-changing. He is a much happier, healthier, and calmer baby. I cannot recommend Action Day based on what we went through. read more

My kids were enrolled in the infant center and preschool for +2 years at Action Day Moorpark. My oldest had Ms. Ashley as her TK teacher and adored going to Action Day when her teacher would be there. Ms. Ashley was engaging with the kids, knew how to encourage kids when they needed some emotional support, and understood how to communicate at their level ensuring it was a safe space. My youngest (boss baby) attended the infant side and loved seeing Ms. Jeannette every day. It was difficult to dropoff my youngest at daycare each day after maternity leave was over, but they made it an easy transition for me and my kid was always well taken care of. I appreciate how much the teachers care about the kids and make sure that the parents are heard. I only removed 1 star as I wish the business side of Action Day would take better care of the staff. One example would be to add air conditioning in the infant center for the staff area. It is hard doing check in & check out sweating in that area, I cannot image how difficult it must be for the staff sitting there. read more

This review is long overdue! My daughter has been going to Action Day Schools- Moorpark since she was about 4.5 months old, and she's now 3. We started in the infant center and have since moved into the preschool side, and I can honestly say this place has been a consistent bright spot for our family. The teachers are truly amazing! They are caring, attentive, and genuinely invested in each child's development. You can tell they love what they do, and it shows in how happy our daughter is every single day. When our daughter moved over to the preschool side, Ms. Trish was our morning drop-off, and she has been incredibly awesome! Having a familiar face, steady presence first thing in the day makes a big difference, and we really appreciate her!!! A huge shout-out to MS. JESSICA (Room 12)!!!! She's an incredible role model and leader for the kids. She's exactly what you hope for in a caretaker. She is so caring, nurturing, and clearly passionate about what she does. I'm writing this review to share an experience that deeply concerned me as a parent and to help other families make an informed decision about sending their children here. My 2.5-year-old daughter attended this center for only four days. During pickup in the early evening on day 4, I arrived at the playground and quickly realized she was missing. The teacher supervising the class did not know where she was and was asking another toddler if they knew where my daughter had gone. After several minutes of me franticly searching and running around halls and the play area calling her name, another parent told me she had found a little girl alone on the opposite side of the school, and had taken her to the infant office. That child was my daughter. She had been unsupervised for an unknown period of time. The teacher supervising her only knew she was missing because I showed up. While the director was apologetic afterward, this incident represented a serious lapse in supervision and safety procedures. Because of this, my family decided to withdraw her from the program immediately. I'm sharing this not to be harsh, but because I believe parents deserve transparency when it comes to safety. I know I would want to know if something like this happened where I was considering sending my child. We did sit down with the regional director and were told that measures were put in place to ensure it doesn't happen again. The staff are friendly and seemed to listen to our concerns, and I will add, Ms. Jeanette was amazing and so loving toward our girl, for that I am grateful. At the end of the day, that evening could've have ended much worse for my family. I am just thankful our daughter was found safe. We wanted to love this school for our family, but unfortunately, Action Day Moorpark failed us. read more

We had our daughter at Action Day for about 10 months. Room 1 & 2 were amazing!! Ms. Carmen was a great welcome to the first time dropping off the baby. Stopped by anytime to feed or just check in on the little one. Then little one became a "confident walker" and went to another room. We took a tour and Room 3 was locked which is againt fire code also a friend told me her son was in the room ans observed none of the staff washed their hands before serving food.The subpar care even started day 1 in the new room. Daughter ans another kid ran into each other. I was told I would get a report, when I told the staff member I didnt get one she just responded, "OH yeah I didnt write it" and never did. We tried to figure out why daughter wouldn't eat at lunch. We attempted problem solving, asking for updates or just check ins the staff would just blow us off not collaborate at all. After a month of attempted I spoke to one, she got really defensive saying we are doing everything you ask she just doesn't eat. A kid you work with rarely eats while you watch her for 6-8 hours and that isnt a concern. We would pick her up she would have a thousand yard stare and be so hungry. The diaper was always changed regularly, everything else was concerning. Almost all programming is just one art early AM and free play. There was always 1-3 kids screaming or crying when I walked in. Spoke to the Director who was great, she apologized and offered a room change. As a last resort we moved to another room, still barely any eating and so quite and pale when we picked her up. We would have to feed her before even driving home. I would not recommend Action Day to anyone with a kid older than 1 year old. I feel bad for talking positively about them that at least 2 families joined...very happy at a different daycare just down the road. read more

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Ms.Ashley and Ms.Zahra's Tk class. It was nothing short of an AMAZING experience. Firstly, the teachers in their self are so sweet and motherly. (Give off Ms.Honey from Matilda vibes). I felt so safe and secure dropping my daughter off with them everyday. The love and patience they showed my daughter brought so much joy to not only me but my daughter as well. She would always come home talking about how much she loves her teachers. Secondly, the science projects , the field trips , and the book they all wrote and illustrated together were all my favorite. My daughter has learned so much while being in their care. I know public school offers Tk classes . Which my oldest son had attended, did not turn out so well and is now behind in school. My daughter is now in Kinder and is ahead in her class and doing so well. I owe it all to these two and can't thank them enough. Scarlett loves and misses you guys so much. She's always asking if she can go back and or visit you both!! I can't thank you guys enough and could/would go on and on about you guys. All three of my kids have been lucky to have her, and my youngest, who recently turned three, will soon be transitioning to a new group. I'm dreading this change because we adore her, and my son looks forward to seeing her every morning and even talks about her at dinner. Their bond is so special that I wish we could stay in this phase a little longer. Ms. Jessica is an incredible teacher for the twos. I enrolled my baby in the infant program and initially felt the staff cared, that quickly changed. However, the classroom was consistently understaffed, 6 babies to 1 caregiver, which left staff visibly overwhelmed. My baby contracted hand, foot, and mouth disease, and I was never notified about his rash or that other children were sick. I pulled him out immediately. When I emailed about the illness and requested a refund, I got a vague response. After following up, I was told it's "normal" for kids to get sick and not a reason for a refund. But the issue wasn't the illness--it was their failure to notify us when our baby was visibly unwell and struggling to eat. That's unacceptable. Even after I reported the illness, they didn't inform other parents. When I picked up my child's belongings, I saw another baby with a rash. Yet somehow, mine was the only one "officially" sick? This place lacks transparency and aren't responsible. I wouldn't trust them with my child again. read more

I absolutely loved this daycare. Im just so sad we got priced out of it. The teachers are so kind and fun and they do so many activities throughout the week. For having a high ratio they took amazing care of those kids. The only downside is that they raise the prices each year and this year it was just too much. It took my entire check even though I had a childcare program copay. We moved daycares and its so much cheaper but it really does suck compared to this facility. My daughter loved going and learned so much I wish I could bring her back ugh im writing this review because of how much I dislike the new daycare . Refreshing my previous review, still 5 stars. I've known Ms. Ashley and Ms. Zahra since my sons days in the Moorpark infant center, and feel so blessed that they have been able to see and guide him through his continued growth here. I was on the fence about moving him into the Jr.K program (Is it worth the extra cost? He's just a BABY does he need the structure? Should I just move him to a TK in our school district??) So many concerns, but I took the leap and have not regretted it one bit. I consider my son high energy and easily distractable; the idea of him sitting in a desk for an entire school day seemed like an unattainable pipe dream. 100 days into the school year, Ms Ashley and Ms Zahra have made my dreams come true! My son is writing his name, excited for school in the morning, and comes home with endless dinner table conversations about his day. They offer a great approach that provides the structure he needs but still making everyday fun. Overall, I think there was a ton of benefit of starting his "structure" in a familiar environment and minimizing the amount of change. We have been with Action Day for 4.5 years, the staff here have seen my little man through crawling, walking, potty training, and now giving him all the tools to be prepared to leave "daycare" and start school. We love the staff here--we love the families that attend here, and we love having my son develop here. I cannot recommend Action Day Moorpark enough! read more

I loved this school. I really did. My son loved it, always asking to go. They failed my child by terminating his services due to him having behavior issues for having a tough transition with me and dad splitting up. I understand safety is important, but they made my son sound like a monster in the incident reports and made me believe they were really going to do "everything in their power" to help my son and his emotions. They seen that I put him in therapy and speech therapy and was doing my all, and the real problem came on the day they terminated him. He had scratches on his face, nose, behind his ear and wrist and they said they were old when clearly they were fresh. Then they said they didn't see them, mind you he was in the office with them for 45 min while I left work to go pick him up. After I kept saying how is he getting sent home while he's getting injured to? They then said that my son had a group of buddies thst like to play rough and it was probably one of his "buddies" ok so you're not even looking at the main point here. My son is scratched up too and "no body seen anything happen to him, yet seen with their own eyes him doing the injuring" I've reported other injuries and nothing was done. My youngest son also got termed a few months prior. Same crap. I emailed the president of the school, she didn't even answer!! She had some executive person reach out who basically justified the other kids actions too! No incident reports. No apologies. I'm the one who had to remind the girls what incident happened what day do they can write all of them for me! Literally breaks my heart thst a school can't handle kids and truly teach them how to deal with emotions. Their kids! They're learning! You teach! Not give up on them and toss them out. I regret every dam penny. I truly had faith in you guys. Not even that. It's been 2 weeks and I haven't even got a termination letter! read more

My daughter spent two years at Action Day Moorpark, starting from she was 4. I can honestly say that every single day during those two years, she was incredibly happy！ Her teachers were Ms Zahra and Ms Ashely, and they treated the students like their own kids！They not only corrected habits through the details of the kids' behavior but also cultivated patience in their characters. There was a time when my daughter became a bit rebellious, disrupting the class frequently, and I was really worried. After talking to Ms Zahra, she reassured me, analyzed the reasons behind my child's behavior, and said that with parents and teachers working together, the child's behavior would definitely improve. I was so touched! Now my daughter is 6 and has started elementary school, but she still often begs us to take her back to Action Day on Friday afternoons. I tell her that her classmates have moved on to different schools, but she insists that Ms Zahra and Ms Ashley are still there, and she misses them. So if any friends ask me for a preschool recommendation, without hesitation, I would say Action Day! If I have a second child, I would definitely choose Action Day again! read more

All I can say is this is the best day care out of all. I looked at so many day cared for my two kids since one of my children is autistic . My son (autistic) started with Ms. LUBNA, she was so patient and loves my son so much . They know how to handle him with love and care . They even allowed his ABA to visit. She even potty trained him by 3 for an autistic kid that's amazing !!! Now he's in the threes and communicates perfectly well and is the nicest kid there. My Daughter started in the infant side, did not have the best experience with infant side from previous director but there's a new director and she's very sweet. But now my daughter is in Twos in ms Jessica and Diana. They're amazing with her , I was nervous because my daughter has a harder adjustment to new people but they are great. As the staff in the office HANDS DOWN they are the best, they get back to me with issues, call me if there's an accident or Ochie report, and helped me with other financials things when I was going through it. I even was looking for a new daycare near our house since I lost my job from a horrible accident but no other day care caught my eye , they didn't want my children to leave too not because they get money but because my kids love the place and it's their second home. I'd rather make a further drive than go somewhere I'm not 100% satisfied in. MA cassia is the BEST, first month my son started she called me everyday with an update how he's doing since I was the most worried about cause his disability, now he's excited to go school and knows their names . I absolutely loved my drop in care experience here! I did back up care for two days and I loved everything about this school! The director Shivanjee is absolutely delightful. She was patient , answers all questions and give so much reassurance to new parent like me. My son is picky and she ensured that he ate , slept and had a comfortable day. Disclaimer that this review is for the infant center side of Action Day. Action Day Moorpark is located on Moorpark about a block away from Santana Row. This is a place where everybody knows your (kid's) name (someone cue the Cheers them song). Every day during drop off, admin and teachers greet the children by name. My kid has been going here since he was 4 months old and he is almost 2 as of the date of this review. Front office administration - Jacqueline, Ashley, Sam have always greeted us with professionalism. This is a tough business and I'm sure that they have their bad days, but they have been great and they truly like the kids. They also do a nice job with alerting us quickly if there are any issues, big or small. For example, when the school was shutting down during COVID, they called each parent and provided regular updates regarding reopening. Teachers - Our primary caretaker, Maria, has been with our child since he was just starting to walk until now (almost 2 years old) as she transferred and wound up in the same classroom. The teachers are doing a great job and helping us take care of kids while parents are working. I certainly have a great appreciation for all of the teachers and staff there. Facility- probably as clean as a daycare facility can get. Passing by at night, I have noticed cleaning folks. The outdoor play area is nicely sectioned off for bigger kids vs. the smaller kids. They have a sand pit, slides, balls, cars, etc. In the COVID environment, they also managed to adapt to social distancing rules and are open. There is hand sanitizer outside and the temperature of my child gets taken every morning. read more

Finding childcare is no easy task when you're entrusting someone to care for something so precious to you. When we toured Action Day Moorpark a few years ago Ms. Ashley guided us through the school and sweetly answered all my questions. She gave me a sense of confidence that I didn't feel anywhere else. Fast forward to 4 years later, she is now our kiddo's TK teacher. Ms. Ashley & Ms. Zahra's compassionate and patient approach with the kids makes this mama thankful. I cannot begin to express how grateful I am to Action Day for the outstanding care they provided for my son. He first started when he was 7 months old and he is just shy of his second birthday. The teachers: He started in the mobile room with Miss Christina, room 6. She is so knowledgeable, professional, and sweet. She provided so many helpful tips and recommendations when my son started refusing bottles and solids. In addition to her excellent care for my son, she was also always so caring and reassuring to my husband and me as first-time-parents. She was simply incredible. When our son first transitioned to the walking room, room 7, his primary was Miss. Daisy. She was so sweet and professional. We absolutely adored her. Sadly, she ended up transitioning to a new school. Fortunately, Miss. Beatriz, our son's new primary is outstanding. We truly cannot say enough good things about her. She is professional, warm, playful with the kids and so communicative. Our son absolutely adores her. There is no better feeling than dropping your child off and seeing them run to their teacher wanting a big hug. Miss. B is such an outstanding teacher and we honestly will never forget how she treated our son with so much love. She is amazing. Miss. Arlethe, Miss. Navi, and Miss. Valerie are also teachers in room 5. Although they were not our son's primary caregivers, they still need to be mentioned because they are awesome. They are always smiling, playing with the kids, and say "hello" to the parents at pick up and drop off. We always felt 100% comfortable leaving our son with all of the teachers at Action Day. These teachers have the most important job in the world - at least in this parent's perspective. They are caring for young children many of whom are in care for the first time. I cannot express how deeply indebted my husband and I feel to all of them. The facilities: The classrooms are clean, organized and so cute. The teachers do so many fun art projects with the kids and proudly display them throughout the room. The playground is exceptional - we haven't seen a playground that rivals it. It is clean and so well-maintained. The administrators: Ms. Shivangi and Ms. Missy are amazing. They know all the kids and parents by name and always say hello. I just love Action Day, Moorpark! It was a perfect school for my son and to our family. Since the day one, all our doubts were kindly answered, all special needs (as a family adapting to the new city and to the language) were completely full filled. We have had the best experience with the Moorpark Preschool, specifically the 2's classroom with Ms. Jessica. Both our daughter and son have gone through the preschool and have had the opportunity to be in Ms. Jessica's two year old classroom and we loved every minute of it. Our daughter was in Ms. Jessica's care during Covid and although it was a difficult time, Ms. Jessica made sure to give the children the same one on one attention and despite the difficult circumstances, she always had engaging activities and still managed to teach the children essential fundamentals and social interactions. She also played a huge role in potty training my daughter and made the process so easy on us. My daughter absolutely adored Ms. Jessica and formed such a strong bond with her that she constantly wants to visit with her and even at 5 years old, she asks to visit her classroom and see her outside of school. My son is currently in Ms. Jessica's classroom, we can't imagine him being in anyone else's care. Although his personality and temperament is completely different than my daughter, Ms. Jessica had bonded with him and formed an unbreakable connection with him. She is constantly in communication with us regarding his progress and often discusses strategies for how we can help with his growth and learning at home. She is kind, gentle, and approachable, but also takes the time to instill the correct values and manners in these young children. She understands that every child is different and takes the time to get to know each child. Not to mention, her lessons and activities are SO engaging and fun. My son runs from the car to her classroom ever morning and I can't imagine having my kids in anyone else's care! I am absolutely in awe for this place! This review is specifically for the Infant Center. I have two kids and currently my older one is on summer break so we were looking for an infant care place for my baby. For starters, we were given a through tour of the entire school. All my questions were answered and it was lovely . One thing that really struck my eye was that every classroom we saw, the babies were all calm , happy and the teachers were all interacting with them. I was greeted by everyone we saw. Very welcoming. What I really loved in this school was a glimpse of the care they provide. When we went back to the office to finish off the tour, the center director Shivanki was holding a child who was unwell in the office. They separated the child from other children to keep everyone in the classroom safe. The director was playing and making the baby comfortable waiting for the parents to arrive. The parents came when I was there and they gave a nice update to them . The office employees greeeted my older son and also gave him a doughnut! That was really sweet ! The school looks nice and clean. The teachers all look trained and excited to be there. They also give you an option of doing a 'Playdate' where you are welcome to spend time in the school . I wish there was option for 0 star. This is worst place I put my kid to. He started when he was 18 months old in toddler section. We like classroom and playground and though my kid would be happy. But then nightmare started. 1. Everyday new teacher He cried initially which is expected. There are no fixed teachers for kids. They keep changing even within day. Lot of part time teachers which comes only few days or even only for half day. That way kid doesn't bond with any teacher. At that age - they need some comfort and some familiar face. My kid used to cry even after 3 months being there. We though may be it is new place, but everyday seeing new faces made him very upset. 2. No care for kids Teachers dont try to feed kids who are not capable, they will go hungry whole day and cry out. After coming home my son will be so hungry that i had to offer him food in the car itself on the way back from daycare. He would be cranky whole day since he didnt eat much. At that age - they dont understand much that they need to eat when it is lunch time. After multiple ear infections - i had asked teacher to offer him room temperature milk instead of straight from fridge, but teachers just dont care. Teachers change everyday and they dont know requirement of your kids. There were multiple instances where they didnt even care to put jacket on during play time. His nose would be running but wont be wiped up. 2. Very dirty place They dont clean the place thoroughly, every week my son fell sick. He had 3 ear infections, RSV and multiple episodes of upset stomach. They claim there would be maximum 16 kids in one classroom, but that number keep changing and in fact i have seen 23 kids in that classroom and since some kids come only part time and few days a weeks, there was complete chaos. kids are crying all over the place and during nap time also - some kids are crying and hence my kid couldn't nap properly. everyday I used to leave office at 3.30 just to pick him early and feed him something. overall my son and me both suffered a lot for 4 months due to this daycare. I saw other kids of my friends at different daycare and they didn't fell that much sick or cried as much my kid did, I feel very guilty that - at first, why did I choose for my kid. After 4 months 2 teachers at action daycare were positive for COVID-19 and that's was end of it. We pulled him out of this daycare and ended suffering for all of us. He goes to other daycare which suited him very well. He is happy boy again. Reception teachers like Ashley and Jackline - were good, but otherwise I dont have anything good to say about this daycare. Both my kids have gone here since they were 2 and have been here during COVID. They are the best action day campus around. Brittany, the Director (I think that's her title) is FANTASTIC! My son attended action day starting at 18 months old with Ms. Zahra. We were so nervous for his first daycare experience especially because of my son's allergies. Immediately the whole staff, but especially Ms. Zahra, put us right at ease. They were well trained and took extra precautions with any food and snack items at the school. They called and texted me with any questions and were so happy to provide mid day check-ins for this nervous mama. read more

Ms. Zahra (room 5 infant center) is the absolute best. I knee my daughter was in good hands. She speaks to the babies nonstop and they are delighted by her. When my child had an opportunity to have Ms Zahra and Ms. Ashley (room 20 for her last year) I was beyond thrilled. They provided sound structure and a very loving and creative environment that really fostered skills to set the students up for success in kindergarten. read more

We are still at Action Day and still loving it!! It keeps getting better and better. Through covid times, its been really difficult for many families but the staff and teachers are always there with a smile on their faces welcoming the kids. We really love Miss Jessica! She really clicked with my daughter and taught her so much while they were together. My daughter is potty trained thanks to her! We have since graduated from her class but my daughter always asks to stop by her classroom and say hi! When you are looking for childcare you want to drop your child off in the care of someone who is safe, welcoming, kind, knowledgeable and fun... that is Miss Jessica! We can't wait to have her care for our kiddo #2. Another staff member who has been a light for us is Ms. Raquel. She holds down the front office with clear and constant communication, jumps in to help whenever a child or parent needs it and is just a welcomed sight to see each morning! read more

After touring a couple in-home daycare centers in San Francisco, and a couple of daycare centers in the San Jose area, my husband and I ended up choosing Action Day Primary Plus - Moorpark for our infant. The tour was efficient, and we were even able to bring in our child for a "playdate" (basically, just having our baby hang out there while under our supervision) prior to his start date. The caretakers were so friendly and calm that we even specifically chose Room 6. Alex, Vivian, Maria, Cassie, Marissa, and the rest of the caretakers there were really kind and welcoming to me and my child, and my child loved them. In fact, my child would cry something fierce when Alex clocked out for the day. One particular day he was so upset that she even came back to check on him AFTER she clocked out! That's love. There are lots of clean (and often, brand new!) toys for the little ones to play with, a big-enough space for the babies to crawl around, a mostly-dark room where each baby has their own assigned crib, and assigned caretakers who really love each baby like their own. They also all wear gloves while changing the babies, and they're good about keeping each child's belongings separated. At the end of each day, your child goes home with a paper log detailing how their day went. I had (selfishly) hoped for mobile app updates throughout the day, but I realized the paper logs are better - this is to ensure that the teachers/caregivers are not on their phones all day, which I really appreciate. Also, just going to brag that during my baby's time at Room 6, he never once caught Hand Foot Mouth Disease. :) read more

Action Day Primary Plus - Moorpark is an Amazing preschool! We highly recommend this preschool and I believe other parents too because they have always been in the list of Bay Area Parent - Best Preschool & Daycare in Silicon Valley. We are sad to see some of the bad reviews because we have been with Action Day-Moorpark since 2017. Our eldest started in toddler class and now in Pre-K and our youngest started in the Infant class and now in Toddler class. This preschool has been our partner in raising our kids and we couldn't be more satisfied with their care. We can tell both our kids are enjoying going here because every morning our youngest just wants to enter her classroom right when we get there but she turns back and waves goodbye while our eldest knows everyone and waves to every teacher that we pass by. Couple things that we love about this preschool: Great Program - We like that they not only focus in academics but also recognize that kids want to play so part of their curriculum is being active every day! Being a big school with different locations, they have the advantage of offering enrichment programs at their school during school hours and before COVID during weekends too. They have dance classes and recital, soccer programs and now they have sports camp. They also do parties to celebrate occasions, so they get to enjoy it safely with their friends. Location/Facility- Very convenient location, next to Santana Row. They have separate playgrounds for different age groups. Their classrooms have age-appropriate toys and activities. Infant classrooms have their crawling spaces, toddlers have their little slide and tunnels and preschool have their library and their circle time space. We've been in different daycare (Tri-Valley area) and toured around South bay prior to Action day and this is one of the most organized and clean facility we've been. Admin Staff - We love seeing Ms. Ashley and Ms. Sam in the Infant building and Ms. Raquel, Ms. Selena and Ms. Brittany in the Preschool building. These ladies are very friendly and keep us updated with their program and how our kids are doing at school. With COVID, we barely interact with other people in person so it's nice to have a chat during drop-off and pickup. It's also very comforting to see how they talk to our kids and how our kids just tell them everything! Awesome Teachers - We've had the best teachers! We can't say enough praises on how they've taken care of our kids. Our kids had different adjustment timeframe, but we made sure that we gave their teachers time to get to know our kids and vice versa. Our youngest has been breastfeed full time and just imagine the transition going to daycare and switching to bottle but we worked with her teachers and listened to their advises and now she's well adjusted. Whilst our eldest is very comfortable with any teacher and turns out to be our social butterfly. COVID policy - When we had our stay-at-home order last year, the preschool kept us informed of the changes they will be implementing in compliance with Santa Clara guidelines and their checklist in re-opening safely. We felt very comfortable with these changes, so we've decided to put our kids back to daycare around June of last year because it's impossible to work from home while taking care of a baby and a preschool. Best decision we've made to cope with pandemic! Thank you so much Action day - Moorpark! Thank you for teaching our kids that going to school and learning is fun! Unfortunately, we need to move out of state because of company relocation and we're very sad to leave this special preschool as this has been part of our family. We appreciate this school more than ever when we had our lock down and experienced how difficult it is to have a healthy normal life without a daycare that you can trust. I have had my children enrolled here since Oct 2022. I was looking for somewhere I felt my kids are well taken care of. My daughter started in infant room 6 and I can say I was very content with all the staff. They would provide me with daily updates. Every morning I was greeted by the staff and my daughter would go to her teachers arms really happy. She got moved up to the walking class and I was anxious since she became really attached to her teachers. But I can tell she has adapted well and has a lot of fun with her new friends. I am still getting daily reports as I was before. My son is on the preschool side and at the beginning we did have a little rough patch but I reached out to the staff and director and all my questions/concerns were attended too right away. They even followed up with me to make sure everything worked out which is amazing. Communication about my children is very important and I'm happy they genuinely cared if everything was alright. I recently got a new job on the opposite side of Action Day but I am very happy with my childrens care I take the 30 minute commute one way just because I know my children are in the best hands read more
