I woke up in the morning with a sharp pain in my hip that started impacting my gait, and ultimately, created back pain. Later that morning, I flew to Kansas City for a layover on my way to Rome. Fortunately, my layover was scheduled for about 3 1/2 hours. After getting off the plane, I searched for highly rated chiropractors near the airport. I stumbled across Active Chiropractic. I gave them a call, told them my situation, and they agreed to see me last minute. I used a ride service to bring me to their location. Dr. Anderson saw me, knew immediately what was going on, made the necessary adjustments and got me back on my feet and ready to go in no time. The folks here were so pleasant and helpful, and provided such great care, I can't thank them enough. Dr. Anderson even saved me from a potential flight issue when he saw that I left my passport and tickets in the room. He ran out to give them to me before catching my ride back to the airport. Dr. Anderson is great. I was skeptical about how affective a chiropractor would be as solving years of discomforting my mid and lower back. Deciding on which chiropractor to use was a tough decision. I gave Dr. Anderson a try and never looked back. After the initial 5 adjustments in a few week span my back felt good which hadn't been the case in about a decade. I play a lot of golf which can make my back get out of alignment from time to time. Now I go see Dr. Anderson about once a month. A two minute visit once or twice a month keeps me feeling great. He knows his stuff and makes you feel very comfortable and welcome. The first time I called his office as a new patient to see how long it would take to get an appointment his assistant Lisa said she and the doctor would happily stay late to see me that very day. I was truly shocked. I believe a responded eloquently with something along the line of "wha..? Really?! Why would you do that?" She explained that even though they could give me an appointment for the next day they'd hate for me to be in pain even over night if they could help. And they did help! Not only could I feel an improvement but I saw the difference with my own eyes. He shot an xray when I first went in and shot another xray 8 sessions later to compare. I could see the progress. My spine was distinctly straighter and my hips much more level. Just last week my mother watched me walking to the car and remarked "Ever since you've been going to that chiropractor you walk better." i.e. my gait was noticeably corrected. Great Doctor, friendly and great bed side manner. My 10 day old baby had horrible reflux, projectile vomiting couldn't sleep or get comfortable, after one visit she slept amazing after two visits she never projectile vomited since. After suffering with plantar fasciitis for years, I thought there was absolutely no hope for my pain and that I would have to suffer and wear orthopedic shoes the rest of my life (guys I'm only 37). I visited Active Chiropractic and Dr. Anderson told me that there was a procedure (Graston) that he could do on my feet that would offer some relief and possibly cure my problem. I had the procedure done on my left foot on a Monday and immediately after he finished and I stood on my foot there was GREAT relief. By Wednesday I was back in the office to get my right foot done because I had never really noticed the pain in the right foot because the pain in the left foot was so bad...by the way...by that Wednesday my left foot had ZERO pain.
